    If you prefer outdoor seating overlooking the kodai lake, this is the perfect place to be! Very relaxing to have coffee here in the evenings. Food we ordered was ordinary but the location makes you forget everything else.

    One of the best bar in Kodaikanal located in the Carlton hotel. The service is excellent, people are so polite. They have lot of verities of cocktail and dished if required. The price is also reasonable. The best place for a cold weather, aslo lot of shops closes in Kodaikanal late evening, so it good to relax in front of furnace. The front view is the lake, so that is an add on with the weather.

    End of the road is the name of the bar in the Hotel Carlton Kodaikanal..very cossy and rustic place the interiors make you easy and comfortable ..through the large glass windows one can see the kodai lake sipping your drink for the evening imported sprits are served very costly with 58% tax which will deplete your monies for sure yet it is a 5 star property...one decide to splash or save. Service at leisurely pace so if one needs quick service and one expects value for money this is not the place.

    One stop for chilled beer. Forget other places, just hit this pitstop if you're in Kodai town and beer's on your mind. It was a peaceful getaway for us from the sweltering heat at the lake in the noon.

    The place looked like one described in fantasy / fiction stories. A platform by the lake overlooking the wide horizon. Quality of food and service are a notch above the ordinary luxury (though it's an oxymoron :-) )

    We stayaed at Carlton for 2 nights. It was all girls trip, the service given by them was awesome, they went out of the way to serve us food apart from their regular menu, located at lake, it's just beautiful

    Good ambience. The price is slightly on the higher side but the price point could be justified by being right beside the lake and having a lawn. Also the fact that there aren't a lot of good bars in Kodaikanal.

    The drinks are heavily priced with 58% tax which they are not even able to verbally admit to their customers. Hiding behind a fine print as we are expected to study their menu like text books. The person could not get even my one food order right.

    The place is well located in the heart of kodaikanal town. Offers very good ambience for partying with friends, family or couples. However, the cost is unnecessarily too high, especially for the beverages. A beer that is available for INR 120/- will cost you INR 680/- there, which is think is a bit too high even for the service they are providing. Apart from this, the food was good and was reasonable price. Overall, a good experience.

    Best place to enjoy a beautiful evening. Best bar in town with a view. An eye on hospitality, staff are really attentive to take care of guests. Highly recommended

    A nice olace to visit. Must go for open resto for wonderful visuals. Visit to connect with natute. Food is superb, parking is available.
