The hotel has renovated the rooms and upgraded to styled. The room has a nice open view and very colourful at night. The lobby has a coffee and bakery, souvenir shop. Basement level have sauna, convenience store, karaoke and massage shop. From the beer menu, like the shrimp tempura to go with the beer is just great.

Sadly this hotel needs a bit of improvement, quite dated and showing signs of age. The staff are fine but last night one of our meals was forgotten for half an hour, so it only arrived after we asked twice. We felt that the kitchen was possibly under-staffed and they were struggling to cope with the demand. The breakfast is basic, fruits were frozen and took ages to warm up to become edible. Despite all that, it’s a good location for local attractions.

I love this hotel. They can accommodate large groups (we had 60 plus members). It is close to restaurants and amusement venues. It is in a great location, and I the breakfast is amazing! This is one of the best hotels in South Korea 🇰🇷! 👏

The staff and service are excellent. The hotel is located just around the corner, literally, from Insadong-ro. My only complaint was the air conditioning is turned off all day so the room is very hot, 25c/77f. Several hours after turning the AC on, the room was 24c/75f. By morning the temperature was even higher because they shut the AC off at night. The room never cooled off. The second night I asked for a fan which made it more bearable.

Omg this place is so nice. Where do I begin? Bar, conversation store, karaoke, latte bar, pool, sauna, 2 restaurants, beautiful perfectly manicured grounds. Perfect for families. Stores nearby within walking distance. Room service. AND tips are not required and may be considered rude. Oh, and of course a gift shop. What's not to love?

This a very nice hotel in a beautiful area of Gyeongju in Bomun Lake. There are many things to see and do in the area like Gyeongju World theme park, Gyeongju Tower and the Gyeongju Palace Garden. Loved walking the lake at sunset and admiring the incredible views. The hotel starts to feel a bit old but none the less is comfortable and has great amenities like a swimming pool, a convenience store, karaoke room and spa with steam rooms. The staff were super friendly and helpful, there are different restaurants and the rooms were comfortable with great views to the lake, although they feel a bit outdated. Overall very good experience here and a great value hotel.

The hotel and location was amazing! Clean, spacious rooms, the lake and park are just steps away, and the front desk staff were absolutely perfect. The real jewel of this hotel is the people. A special thank-you to Seonghyeon, who went above and beyond to help us with train reservations. Extremely nice and smart fellow. We highly recommend the Commodore Hotel.

The A/C is off during the day. At night the room is still hot because room A/C is weak and useless. Staff come in when you indicate DO NOT DISTURB. Beds are good. Shower is good. Room is spacious.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, we were told that one of the rooms that was alloted to us in the beginning does not have an AC. I'm not sure if this was because we were foreigners here. Later, on demand we were alloted a room with AC. Visitors are therefore recommend to ensure that you are allotted with a room with AC. It wouldn't be possible to spend a night without AC during summer for sure.

The rooms are nice, the staff is nice, the location is nice, but the food is meh and the central heating means that in winter it’s going to be 30 degrees in your room. Windows don’t really open.

Perfect hotel for vacation. Breakfast was one of the best I have had on my tour around the globe. Service is outstanding. Serene location. I'm thankful for the time spent here.

It's a tidy hotel and the service is pretty good and the staff are really friendly. The restaurants are not that great as there are only limited options and the breakfast buffet menu are the same everyday. Lake view is nice. During weekend it would be crowded so better to go early for breakfast or you will have to wait in queue.

Very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. There’s no way to operate ac or heat though. So was very hot.

This hotel looks and feels like a very nice hotel but lacks some of the modern features you would expect. Many of the rooms rely on central air conditoning which is turned off in the fall. The windows dont open enough to accomodate air flow. Breakfast was korean style. The buildings water is supposedly spring water, I could feel no difference from standard filtered water. The hotel is very close to a pretty lake with a 8km walking path.
