Lovely walk up in the mountains. Pretty easy going walking (but probably not suitable for those with mobility difficulties) along a babbling brook which eventually takes you to a picturesque waterfall. The walk up to the waterfall takes about 30-40 mins, and then if you like, the trail continues up for another 2km (although it's more gentle once you get above the waterfall). Great way to take a break from the heat down on the coast.

Start of route for Caledonia water fall, easy shaded walk to waterfall alongside the stream , bring water, good shoes and swimming shorts. Took us 2 hours for a return trip with lots of breaks and a short dip in the water fall.

Great short hike to the Caledonia waterfalls. About 1.5 hrs roundtrip. Bring hiking shoes.
