Coffee Corner is a very well establishment. Nice coffee and all the usual hot beverages. My wife had hot chocolate and said it was nice and frothy and her cheese and tomato toasty on brown bread was also very nice. My flat white was just right and the Kentish sausage roll was filled with a good helping of sausage meat which was slightly Herbie, but not overly so. And was delicious !! A nice group of ladies serving great food and drink. I would recommend going there.

Nice shopping centre with ample free parking, sadly stores close way too early as in Spring and Summer 8pm is still daylight.

Great parking facilities and a good selection of shops. It's a shame that there aren't some more luxury brand shops and Debenhams is missed following its closure. Some good places to eat and have a coffee.

Good mix of everyday shops including some of the larger national retailers ( m&s ) first time I have been there and apparently it was half term. The m&s cafe was packed at 2pm and there was a 30 minute wait for food . Just had two coffees and left . Had lunch elsewhere. Will go back at a quieter time.

Nice centre, good range of shops and ample parking. Next to another centre so it has pretty much everything you could need shopwise

Very good shopping centre with plenty of retail outlets and coffee shops and restaurants. Hopefully they will continue to develop the shopping centre with additional retail outlets in the near future.Well worth a visit though.

Excellent shopping experience. Had a free day by MYSELF😁 and enjoyed it. Plenty of different genre shops to treat yourself and plenty of food shops If you have the munchies.

Big modern shopping area with quite a few decent size stores. Massive M&S, Matalan etc. The Christmas lights were nice and there is plenty of space. Some bits feels pretty desolate, and it's clear they intend to pack in lots more in future. If you are looking for a giant Sainsburys immediately opposite an equally giant Tesco, this is the place to go.

Great place to spend a day, whether shopping or you just fancy a change. Easy to get to, plenty of parking and a reasonable choice of things to do. There's a cinema and a casino for entertainment and lots of places to eat to suit a variety of tastes. It's one of the few places left in the area where you can find most types of shopping outlets in close proximity.

An out of town retail park that's really just a shopping mall unwrapped. There are many of the usual high street chain stores here plus a couple that are more likely found out of town. There is a reasonable variety of good on offer though, so not a bad choice to pick up a few varied articles that you might need.

Built some 30 years AFTER the Americans had stopped building strip malls it was out of date before the first foundation was dug ... It showcases the blind stupidity of Thanet District Council Planning Dept that houses (like the whole council) third rate staff and Councillors. The Westwood Cross shopping centre is NOT ECO Friendly and is spread over half of mile in nine different segments which are increasing. To shop there you need to move you car three times at least, as the gaps between each are vast ... the wide open spaces and lack of shelter leave shoppers exposed to the elements. If they had planners had the worldly wherewithal then they had the space to build a modern covered mall. It's location is also too close to the three major towns and it has damaged their High St. It's also made life difficult for OAPs as a result.

Brilliant cafe with good food and drink. Staff polite, welcoming, warm, friendly, approachable, helpful and understanding of customer's needs. Be prepared for having some real good banter. Well worth a visit when in the area if your up for some banter.

Got a fair array of shops and food places. Could do with some more seating but as shopping places go, can't complain. Haven't got many photos of Westwood, but I got this sunset, one of my favourite photos I've ever taken.

Had a meal at the Thai restaurant there, and the food was very nice. I didn't like biting into large ginger slices and shards of lemon grass in my vegetable and tofu Tom Yum soup. It was a lovely flavour otherwise. My vegetable and cashew nut stir fry was tasty. My coconut ice-cream was the best I've had outside of Barbados, and the lemon and caramel cheesecake was nice; the base of it was ok. Overall, I enjoyed my meal because of the people I was there with, plus the friendly service of the staff, the chilled atmosphere juxtaposed with the perfectly heated restaurant (on a cold day) and the great background music, which included 80s RnB which is the best music, in my opinion! I'd definitely return...

Friendly area, VERY nice atmosphere during the summer, has everything your looking for from E-cigarette to chargers if you need it, shopping experiences-clothing footwear everything, entertainment from casinos to cinema, and eating out from nandos to mediterranean the area is a large mass and a very nice day out if with the kids or with family & friends. Even if you was tourist in the area is a nice day out. Only downfall i would say is if you don't drive and your looking to go, you have to leave before a certain time as (not like London) there is no 24/he bus service, and bus's stop running, and taxis do take a alittle while to get to you. But all in all the area is nice 💯👍🏾

I recently visited Westwood Cross and had a great shopping experience. The mall has a wide variety of stores for fashion and lifestyle, and I was able to find multiple options for what I was looking for. I also found some great deals on shoes. I'll definitely be returning to Westwood Cross in the future.

Looked lovely for festive season. It was busy but not chaotically so. Good for last minute Christmas shopping.

  • 5/5 Louise P. 1 year ago on Google
This is a lovely shopping centre. Free parking and a good variety of shops. The main walking area is all flat so easy to walk around. Sadly now that Debenhams has closed, there's a large empty shop however that's a sign of the times and not a reflection on Westwood Cross. There's also safe and easy access to the multiplex cinema and an excellent variety of places to eat.

  • 5/5 Kylie B. 1 year ago on Google
All shops you need in a small area. Huge Primark and TKMaxx. Lots of bargains to be found. Cinema and bingo Hall and restaurants around too. Clean and well maintained. Things to keep kids occupied and play area. Good place to go shopping. We enjoyed it.

Westwood X has got bigger and better since it was built. Good choice of shops and cafe's to choose from. Cinema and Bingo as well as a casino. Huge car park so no problem parking. All in all a good shoppers experience.

Seemed a shame to not stroll through the shopping centre which had a good mix of stores. Although we weren't in an electric car, it's good to see more and more places putting in a few charging points!

  • 5/5 Matthew S. 1 year ago on Google
Has most of the shops that I need all in one place, with plenty of free parking. I also like to make a day out of it by doing a couple of hours shopping, then getting lunch at the Toby carvery and finishing off with a film at the Vue cinema.

  • 5/5 Gordon T. 1 year ago on Google
The whole site is spread out a bit but there is probably a shop that will suit everyone and plenty of parking. I would advise men shopping with their wife/partner to avoid Primark as you'll be traipsing after her for hours 😳🤯

The new reclining chairs were great! Haven't been to the view for a while and I was very impressed with the new seating. The little table was a little annoying as there was no way to get rid of it, but picture quality and sound were awesome!

Always friendly and vibrant with an excellent range of great shops. My recent visit tinged with sadness because of the imminent closure of Wilco. Really good public transport links to all parts of the area and plenty of places to lunch or have coffee.

A excellent shopping venue housing all the major retail chains and some lesser known independent traders. A venue where everyone is catered for who wants some retail therapy. Restaurants and coffee shops also on site. Free car parking, and public conveniences. The other thing is all shops and buildings are occupied and not empty. Well worth a visit.

  • 3/5 Steve S. 1 year ago on Google
Ok if you're looking for somewhere to eat. Good M&S and a variety of other shops. It has a large car park which can get busy. Unfortunately, like lots of shopping areas, shops often close and disappear.

  • 3/5 Luc D. 8 months ago on Google
Clean tidy and good parking. Shame that they never opened the link road next to Primark - Sainsbury's. It's just annoying having to drive round the block using extra fuel and adding to pollution.

  • 3/5 kevin m. 1 year ago on Google
Disappointed that so many great shops have gone. Like Debenhams , HMV , Thornton. Sort understand HMV going but now it's not a quality place for shopping. Everything is spread out .Parking is free outside poundland. There's toilets near there in the management area. The loop bus route is easy if your a local bod. Poundland is not a pound most items were over a pound . It's a good place for perfume and deodorant as there's lots of competition super drug, boots, just to name two. Coffee also a few shops in competition. I had some photos printed on a mug at one of the stalls...

Westwood Cross shopping centre is a modern and spacious shopping destination located in the British area of Thanet. The mall features a wide variety of stores, including high street favorites like H&M, Topshop, and River Island, as well as popular department stores like Marks & Spencer and Next. The mall also boasts a good selection of dining options, including fast food chains like McDonald's and KFC, as well as more upscale restaurants like Pizza Express and Nando's. One of the standout features of Westwood Cross is its attractive and well-maintained outdoor spaces. The mall features a large central plaza that is perfect for relaxing and people watching, as well as a number of outdoor seating areas where shoppers can take a break from browsing the stores.

We go to westwood for everything now, i like that i can find all my shopping in one place, i think wwx is essential for Thanet. We often visit the cinema, tobys, hooden horse, game shop, sweets shop and many more

Plenty of shops here to keep you happy if u like shopping. But I do wish it was under cover as it is open to the elements!, a large car park but can be very busy at weekends and holidays ! Be warned! .

  • 4/5 Al S. 1 year ago on Google
This shopping centre is nice and cosy. So many brands outlets has there. If somebody pay a visit into this shopping centre they will not regret. But what was seems strange to me is this place is so quite sometimes. I don't know why maybe some people prefer to go to Canterbury shopping centre insted of here, that could be a reason.

  • 4/5 Carla H. 10 months ago on Google
Pleasant shopping experience, can be overly busy but that’s neither here or there. Few closed shops at the moment so will be interesting to see what opens in there place. Wish there were more toilet the only toilet is the the other side of Westwood cross car park right by subway and if like my have a bad knee would be ice to have alternatives especially now the one in tk maxx has closed it’s toilets.

Westwood Cross is a wonderful shopping centre. Staff there are also lovely , polite, smart & always willing to help if there is something specific you are looking for, or you can't find your way to the shop you are looking for. It is a brilliant well thought out design for disabled & elderly people.

Always clean, not very atmospheric, can get rowdy with some clients. Would be more of a pick up and go place. Very slow filing empty shops.

  • 3/5 Steve F. 1 year ago on Google
It's ok but nothing special. Empty shops as per usual. Has a reasonable M&S and a large car park. Choice of restaurants nearby. Worth the occasional visit.

  • 4/5 Kelly E. 9 months ago on Google
Plenty of parking. Great selection of shops. very clean. Only negative: the sweetshop staff are very rude. I know Westwood Cross cannot do anything about it but it really ruined the whole shopping experience.

  • 5/5 Natasha G. 7 months ago on Google
Great place to go shopping. A few empty stores since covid, but there is still a good variety for clothes and food. It's always fairly busy which is great for our local economy.

  • 3/5 George H. 8 months ago on Google
After 2 years out of the area we returned there to do some shopping. It looks like the place is going downhill. The first impressions are that the buildings need paint and a good cleanup. The management needs to do something to liven this place up.

Pretty standard shopping centre. It's great convenience, variety of shops and restaurants. You just have to get past that it's in margate.

With the exception of IKEA and John Lewis, Westwood Cross seems to have everything. It's nicely positioned for all three Thanet towns. TKMaxx is likely to interrupt my plans on a regular basis 🥴

Needs a Zara or H&M who left a few years ago. Hardly ever go there. TKMaxx is not as good as the Croydon store. Hardly any nice shoes, only trainers. Need more individual shops, here's hoping debenhams has them

We’ve shopped here many times, from a simple quick shop at River Island, to a massive Xmas shop. Love all the High Street shops, always clean and currently looking amazing with all the Xmas decorations. Hoping 2021 will be a better year for the place and all the shops

I only visit Westwood Cross when I absolutely have to. I find it dismal. On a blustery day, the wind cuts through making it an unpleasant experience. Why didn't they put a roof or a canopy over the walkways? A lot of the good shops have gone. Most of the shops are low end High St chains. It's only saving graces are Waterstones, the M&S food hall and free parking.

Had a trip here today and this is a specific post about the security and customer experience team following the loss of my phone. Long story short but the team, from the nice Irish cleaner/sweeper who I first panicked to, to Charlie in the security team, Paul the customer experience manager, and chatty Richie, the friendly PCSO, they were brilliant. The shops were notified, one person checked Facebook (thank you to the manager in I-crack) and it was tracked down, located, collected & returned to me!! Honestly - team sweeping into action! It is only a phone but its scary to think how much many of us would lose if we did lose them! Thank you all involved - and the lady who initially found & posted my phone as lost - faith in humanity restored!

Love shopping here, clean and a good selection of shops. Often visit Sainsbury's too and at the end finish with a meal and cinema at £4.99 if you book in advance.

  • 5/5 Matthew M. 1 year ago on Google
Pleased to see less empty units then there had been post-covid lockdown. Some smaller chains/ independents now as well as national retailers. To be fair, theres lots of parking, good bus links, an effort is clearly made to keep the place tidy and maintained, there's security, a mix of food outlets as well as retail. As open shopping malls go, its not bad. I feel safe shopping here and am happy to bring my children.

Only went to Sainsburys and Toby Carvery. Nothing out of the ordinary. EXCEPT. The clothes in Sainsburys were, to say the least, disappointing. It seems we all have to live in leisure/ sports wear, or floppy dresses, women used to wear as smocks when they were pregnant, back in the war years up to 70s. Not for me thank you.
