Beware when parking. Received a £70 parking fine (well breach of contract as private companies can not fine you) for not paying when the parking meters were down. Did a £100 worth of shopping here and feel that Merry Hill is a much better place overall. Free parking and of course a lot safer to park and shop at Merry Hill. We should all email the local MP Nicola Richards to demonstrate that in a climate where by a shopping centre needs all the shoppers it can get this is putting people off coming here as a result. It is such an unfair and bizarre practice

The shopping centre itself is fantastic, has most of the usual high street brands in it. A decent sized car park which charges, but is free after 6pm every day, and all of Sunday. When the charges are in effect, you can get 2 hours free if you spend more than £5 in Tesco Extra, which is like the main focal point of the place. Sometimes it can get crowded, and a fun game I play here with my children is dodge the zombies. This was particularly fun during the pandemic when a lot of people were coughing away without masks, adding that extra exciting element of risk. Overall though, it's massively convenient. I'm lucky enough to live very close by, but see people from surrounding towns travelling here a lot.

A few minutes drive from Sandwell General Hospital, adjacent to Queen’s Square, it is a shopping park partly covered by sunroof. It has multiple chained stores including fashion shops, toy shops, Costa, Specsavers, Vodafone, O2 and Tesco. The washroom is clean and spacious 😄 Parking is 80p for first hour and a £5 receipt from Tesco can redeem a voucher for 2 hours free parking. Like many other retail parks, it is windy.

Everything under a roof. I love this place especially the bespoke candles outside and the masala corn.

BEWARE!! PARKING FINE!! First time visit to this place in the evening If you park in zone three (Primark carpark) and follow the walkway there are zero signs to tell you need to pay for parking. I have been hit with a £41.50 for a 42 minute stay. Looking on Google maps the parking sign faces the other way in ZONE 3. A tiny sign with tiny writing at the entrance of which you have no chance and cause a collison if you stop and read in the evening, and zero to no lighting in the parking. Nice money making scheme. Not Happy, I Don't recommend and Visit again = Never

Multiple options for grocery and clothing (Tesco Extra, Primark, H&M). Paid parking. If you shop from Tesco, you can get a coupon and get 2hrs parking for free.

I recently visited the New Square shopping retail park in West Bromwich and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. This modern and well-designed shopping center offers a diverse range of stores that cater to all needs, from fashion and beauty to electronics and homeware. The layout of New Square is both spacious and shopper-friendly, making it easy to navigate through the different stores. Each store I visited had helpful and courteous staff, which added to the overall positive shopping experience. One of the highlights of New Square is its dining options. There's a great selection of restaurants and cafes, offering everything from quick bites to sit-down meals. The outdoor seating areas are particularly enjoyable, providing a nice spot to relax and take a break from shopping. Parking was convenient and ample, which is always a bonus. The cleanliness of the entire area, including the restrooms, was noteworthy. It's clear that the management puts effort into maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Nice shopping area. I couldn't find a pharmacist and didn't want to queue in Tesco. Didn't go into any shops as it was near closing but there seems to be a good variety of the usual high street retailers.

Beware!! Parking fines galore! Make sure you read the signs and get your parking validated. £40 for 36 minutes parking is ludicrous! Didn't see signs saying parking had to be validated. Shops are reasonable I suppose.

Beware of the parking charges. The signs are so subtle and if you're new there you will miss them and get sent a fine. You wouldn't think to pay for parking simply going to Tesco's. (There's not a lot of other shops worth checking out). Paying for parking and then being sly about the signage is dubious practice and strikes me as bordering on racketeering. Naturally I won't be visiting here again.

My favourite shopping centre. Wide range of good sized stores, plus a choice of eating places. Only minor downsides for me are 1. Not enough coffee shops and 2. Tesco is the busiest one I have ever visited - long queues to checkout at weekends & holidays.

What a pleasant experience. The shops have a wide choice, my husband could help me get round easily, public transport is so easy we left the car at home. H&M has some great staff there too.

Had a fine for parking in disabled space but it’s tells you on the sign to show the badge to the desk in Tesco. Yet have to display badge (someone who is disabled cannot do both) and therefore should clarify which you do. The fine is ridiculous as I received a few days before the 28 day notice period and the 14 day half price charge had already ended. Have a valid badge and valid reason for parking in there. Absolutely livid.

I liked my Shopping experience at this Tesco's Supermarket. The premises are a good size and you are spoilt for choice. At the time of my visit in late November, there was a large selection of Christmas goods on sale. The shop was not too overcrowded.

Pleasant shopping area, with a variety of shops for all occasions. My only complaint is the parking, upon leaving you pay at machine. On this occasion I put two lots of money in machine and no confirmation I had paid. The security came and scanned a shop voucher and cleared the screen. I didn't get money back so overpaid for parking. Won't go back in a rush.

Inconsiderate people taking liberties with parking. No care for the disabled !!! 😕 Otherwise great place to shop. And there is an amazing car wash in the car park by the entrance. A genuine 5star service

Visited Holland and Barrett in the Queens square shops. It's little offset by Poundland. It's a health shop. Clean and very nicely laid out. You can get vitamins, proteins etc. and health food. Most of the things are buy one and get second half price. Must visit

All the high street brands at one place. Must say who ever owns the shopping centre doing great job keeping place tidy. You get mix of Asian, European crowd here. Just a bit of warning due to theft problem in most of the stores you can get searched if security beacon goes off when exiting the store. Place has cinema and good restaurants to eat out. You have to excuse the student staff in restaurant specially who has not Kearney the western way of serving can come across rude. This place has big car park means parking never an issue. At the same time place is always busy so might have to do few rounds if looking for parking near to the entrance.

Every time I visit New Square it never ceases to amaze me. Not being much of a shopper myself, I have more than adequate time to marvel not just at the expensive tat on display but also the startling ability of West Bromwich town planners. I think they're great. Shoehorning a terrible shopping centre complete with the world's most confusing car park into an abhoration of a town is quite a feat. The back-of-a-fag-packet road system really is jolly good at preventing you getting there but alas, go there you must. One point of note, you may wish to take a helmet. A local youngster nearly took my ear off with her eyelash extensions. All in all a fine effort once again from New Square!

Usually quite busy and lots of shops. A few places to eat, so there are some options (Nandos, Subway, Burger King etc). There is the Tesco superstore car park which is easy to park in, and also another car park just across the street. There is security wandering around who are usually quite helpful if you have any issues or questions.

New Square has a nice variety of clothes and food shops which is why I keep coming back. There is also a small soft play called Funky Monkey. I love the fact that the square is within walking distance from the town centre as well. Parking is free for up to 2 hours if you spend over £5 at Tesco. There are 2 car parks on either side of New Square. However for those travelling with young kids, there are parent and child spaces in the Tesco car park. 4 stars instead of 5 because the toilets aren't that great.

Went to the Odeon cinema yesterday in New Square. The shopping centre was busy but most of the premises by the cinema have closed down and have been empty for a while so not much to keep you the square. The cinema in itself was clean and tidy and we had a very great time.

My home town.........there are many useful shops around this Tesco within the shopping complex. And if you spend a £5 in tesco, you get a voucher for free parking for a while. Make sure to authenticate the parking voucher on the parking machine before driving away.

Nicely set out, planned and designed shopping centre with various High Street retailers and a large Tesco Extra which is always packed. Ample parking available and easy access through to West Brom, Handsworth, Sandwell and the M5 J1

Terrible place to spend money. -Firstly, there were no shopping carts available, which made it difficult for us to carry our items (Tesco). -Secondly, the queues to pay were too long, and it took us a lot of time to complete our purchase. -Additionally, we were not informed about the parking validation process when we paid, have been there a few times, never validate and was no problem, because most of the times the people park there to spend time and money not because is nice to picnic in a parking lot. As a result, despite spending a considerable amount of money in Tesco, we have to pay for a parking ticket. I still have the parking voucher... so sad to see this kind of collecting zeal. I do not recommend it at all.

BEWARE.....abusive/drunk parking tendants. Iv witness them vocally shouting/verbally abusive to customers even hand palming someone's car! Customers have always been aloud to use Chevrons in busy periods but now get a fine..."" UNLESS THE TENDANT knows you or has been advised by new square to (Turn a blind eye to some ) one rule one day another rule the next. Fines now being dished out on how the tendant feels that day!!!
