Same of like crystal peaks to meadowhell, why peaks is smaller and easier to got round. With meadowhell yes more shops but will take bit longer to get round.

A great shopping centre, market and food places. Always call when we are in the area, as we can get a lot of what we need in one stop. Parking is on site. Lots of shops in one place. Cafe area, McDonald's and other eateries. Cash machine, bus station and tram stop also there too.

I don't like shopping very much, but when I went to Crystal Peaks I was surprised. It is bright, clean but not too busy. I really liked the shopping centre. 👍👍

Currently experiencing mobility issues and only wanted a meal deal from m & s, couldn't believe my luck at getting a parking space near the back door, but soon found I had to use the other entrance and really really struggled to walk through the other car park and the whole shop. Steps without a handrail just outside was nearly impossible with knee issues. First time in a shop door over 3 months and will not be returning on a hurry

As shopping centres go, it's alright. Clean and bright. Busy, ample and adequate shops. Big Sainsbury's, indoor market.., banks and a library. Good public transport links.... A now even s brand new Wetherspoons cross the road.

Called at Sainsbury's petrol station. £1.859 per litre. .002 dearer than Morrisons along the way. £1.91 nearer home. Then into M&S for our little shopping. Being bright and early it was fairly quiet. Nice shop. Then upstairs for my weekly bacon cob.

The majority of staff (4)appeared to be focusing on the drive through which was very quiet at the time while 1 served in store. We were in a relatively short queue, however after realising it would be a lengthy wait we left to get our coffee from a nearby competitor.

Plenty of parking spots. Went on a Sunday so not all market stalls were open. Good selection of eateries catering for all tastes. Pleasant shopping experience.

I have been many times to CP and enjoyed shopping here each time. It can get a little crowded at certain times of the day and carpark can be difficult to get in and out of but overall it a good from me. All the shops are usually well stocked from food shopping to charity shops and you also have the indoor Market. Enough toilets on site so you don't need to squeeze your legs hehe.

Peaks is full of shops and is a much nicer and calmer atmosphere than somewhere bigger than it like meadowhall. There are plenty of different shops and you could get pretty much anything you'd want from here. There is plenty of parking and lots of places to shop or eat.

It was a excellent shopping experience in these present times. Social distancing lanes in place to help make it a less stressful and safe place to shop. Unfortunately there are always people that do not consider others, and do not wear face coverings and do not make any effort to maintain social distancing.

  • 4/5 Michael H. 3 years ago on Google
Quite easy to get round. Social distancing lanes clearly marked.

We discovered this in 2010 .when we newly shifted in Sheffield and my husband wants to go to big TK max . First time we went by tram . I like the shops around .staff is friendly and u do a bit of walk while shopping which is good . The trick is ...malls which are far away from city has more good clearances than mall in the city . I m the person who always bought stuff from sales that's y I love crystal peaks.

Excellent for getting in and out quickly. Management and staff have been very supportive of Friends of Waterthorpe Park 52 acres to the south. They gave us the pallets to make this bench.

An easy to park shopping centre equip with retail stores, cafes, posting facilities, a library, banks, a market place and hairdressers. It has a large car parking area and bus points situated just outside the rear entrance. Very convenient.

Hi.Crystal Peaks is in lock down. I have just got home from the Peaks,in the market there is about 7 or 8 places open. Walking down the mall towards the escalator that takes you down to sainburys is like walking through a deserted town. I would not go shopping, but when your on your own, i have no choice.

This hidden Gem ain't so hidden. It was busy, it practically had everything you'd want in a shopping district. From clothes, fast food, post office, and groceries. You just can't go wrong here when it comes to shopping

  • 4/5 Janet T. 2 years ago on Google
Local shops, needs more things. A farmers market once a month would be good. And a good restaurant for evenings. Even a fish and chip shop would be great.

  • 2/5 Steven M. 2 years ago on Google
Called in at Costa this afternoon and due to medical reasons I avoid dairy products whenever possible. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino and I was shocked to find I'd been charged an 45p. All though it's a bit dearer than dairy but 45p is a bloody rip off. I've not been charged extra at Shhhh cafe. So in future I'll be calling there even if I have to walk the full length of the mall like I would have today. I've got enough points to buy 12 cappuccino then Costa can sod off.

Obviously not as big as Meadowhall, but has everything you need for a good shopping trip. Great stall in The Market Place selling PlayStation games and Pop figures.

  • 4/5 Keavey G. 2 years ago on Google
Has a fair range of shops and coffee shops as well as two charity shops. M&S with a cafe is also attached. Nice little day out if you need to pick some stuff up.

  • 3/5 Asitis M. 2 years ago on Google
You can get most things you need on a daily basis, but the centre is a shadow of its former self. Nothing to entertain the kids like there was in its heyday, and many empty units like all shopping areas. Bring back the model railway, water feature and the cable car above the escalator, kids used to love looking at those.

Much like any other shopping complex. You will find some electric car charging near the entrance. The down side with this location is the parking feels a bit tight. Parking down the side of Greggs feels more open than the rest of the site.

Absolutely disgusted at yesterday's event, I visited Crystal peaks for the first time as I am from Doncaster so me and my 11 week old son had travelled for a shopping day as I had heard good things about crystal peaks. After a while of browsing I discovered there was also a retail park so made my way to the lift to gain access to this next section. After browsing around and also visiting drake House I headed back to the lift to return to Crystal peaks for one last look around before returning to the car. I was horrified to find the lift I had taken to get to this point was now out of service. I was stranded. I wouldn't have a clue how to get back especially with having the pushchair, it this point I'm looking around in despair wondering what to do next. A passing woman, bless you whoever you are asked if I need a hand down the stairs, I really didn't want to say yes as she looked so elderly and fragile but what other choice did I have? I asked her to grab the front of the pushchair so I was the one bearing the weight and walking backwards down the stairs . I am horrified that there were no staff or security around to assis and I had to rely on an elderly lady passing to help me carry my pushchair, 11 week old baby and shopping down 2 flights of stairs. Will not be visiting again through fear of abandonment, my anxiety of going out with my baby has escalated thanks to this event.

One of my favourite places to shop. Good variety of shops and also currently in the process of renovation in 1 area. Not too big and far less tiresome than the larger malls. It also boasts a market. Top marks .

  • 5/5 Margaret R. 2 years ago on Google
I like Crystal Peaks as it has a good variety of shops, much nicer than another shopping mall. Being smaller makes for less walking between shops. Well planned out and nice and bright. The mini market has a small amount of stalls and place to eat. A good place to shop out of bad weather and still get nearly all I want.

SANTAS GROTTO ....We didn't go into the grotto so I can not comment on the experience. I asked the staff if you could just call in or if you needed to book on line. He said if it wasn't busy (like yesterday) you could just call in but as it gets closer to Christmas it's probably best to book. It looked lovely in the entrance. Situated next to Macdonalds on the upper level. I might book for my granddaughter.

Just returned after a 6 month's absence due to an injury (not relating at all to the gym). I'm on a yearly membership, because I wasn't sure when I'd be able to return, the gym suggested my membership be frozen until I was able to return, I can't emagine many would do that, the gym look after their members. Thank you.

We visited the Drakehouse hungry horse. I think it was Elaine on the til, was not very friendly and wasn't good at telling us 30 minutes wait for food. Our server, sadly didn't get her name, dark hair, wore black glasses was very friendly and helpful. We forgot to order coffee and she quickly brought to us. Exceptional service. We enjoyed our food and ordered dessert.

  • 4/5 David h. 2 years ago on Google
Fairly easy to get to and park up. You get a reasonable amount of time for parking. It's got all the shops you need. The only thing it could do with is more clothes shops. Much more convenient than Meadowhall and perfect for Xmas shopping.

  • 5/5 David B. 2 years ago on Google
Surprising number of shops, in small groups dispersed about the place. You'll get fit walking to them all, assuming you don't take the easy option and drive to the separate carparks. Something there for everyone I think. My Mum prefers it Crystal Peaks, although that may be a bold statement perhaps.

  • 3/5 Chunky C. 2 years ago on Google
Always traffic getting to and from this place so I try to avoid if possible. Having said that, maybe it's because it's popular. Retail park and shopping centre is spread out so I found I was driving from one to the other to avoid carrying everything all over. Market area inside just seems to be hair cuts and mobile phones. Bus station, bank and trams are close. Multiple car parks and entrances can be confusing for some. Lots of roundabouts in the area don't seem to help traffic flow they seem to just slow everything down to a stall.

  • 4/5 Jamie N. 2 years ago on Google
Not brilliant for mens shops I.e. Clothing but a tidy, small shopping centre with a lot of shops and 2 adjoining retail parks. New addition of soft play for kids (free) is a welcome addition.

  • 5/5 Beverley G. 2 years ago on Google
Love this place. It's great for pushing my mum around on the wheelchair, as it flat, smooth flooring and warm. Love cafés in the marketplace.

  • 4/5 Gary Gee G. 2 years ago on Google
Parking is absolutely madness even on an early week day, disabled are not well catered for. It's much better than going into town, safe and everything to hand. You could spend all day here!

  • 3/5 Robert P. 2 years ago on Google
For the limited amount of shops here (Aldi, Home Bargains , Costa and Tim Hortons) the car park is surprisingly inadequate. My visits have been in mornings, midweek, weekend and bank holiday and it’s always been horrendous finding a parking space, with cars ‘fighting’ each other to find a space. It’s not easily accessible by public transport, so travel by car is almost essential. There is a Greg’s and I think another shop at the entrance to this retail area, and sometimes their car park seems a little quieter, although a lot smaller. Overall shops and restaurants good, parking horrendous!

  • 3/5 Beverley G. 2 years ago on Google
Regularly shop at Crystal Peaks and Drake house. Large choice of shops, access to tram and buses. Electric car charging (drake House near Home bargains) can be problematic, only 4 chargers, sometimes only 1 or 2 work, also near entrance to carpark which makes it difficult when the car park is busy.

  • 3/5 Peter H. 2 years ago on Google
It's fine. Some big name retailers. Can get very busy and traffic gets a bit snarled up in/out of the immediate area.

  • 3/5 Geoffrey S. 2 years ago on Google
No church no post-office, no cricket pitch. Not a village but a shopping centre. We'll, retail park. Got all the usual shops and a KFC, oh! And a pub.

  • 5/5 cathy e. 2 years ago on Google
A fab shopping centre. Not too large with ample parking. It has many big name stores like Next and marks and Spencer . Cute coffee shops and a market area for all sorts of unpredicted things! There are even a few charity shops to hunt for a bargain and do a good deed too. There is an opticians, pharmacy, banks, clothes shops, jewellers, furniture store, card ahops, shoe shops, macdonalds, wilkos, poundland and even an iceland! Lots of good stuff under one roof and all undercover!

  • 5/5 Tony B. 2 years ago on Google

It's a shopping mall, not too big as your there all day, such as Meadowhall, but some really great shops,a good selection to choose from.I think it's a place you need to visit,to see if it suits your needs. You can get fed and watered there also. Enjoy.

First time visiting for a lot of years. Found it a bit like a mini Meadowhall. A good variety of shops. I went to look at watches in Hinds. The young man who served us was very knowledgeable and gave a very good service.

Crystal Peaks is alright, it's no where near as grand as Meadow Hall however that doesnt means you shouldnt visit. There's lots of variety in stores, including food, charity shops, cafes, an indoor market and also sometimes have table top stalls in the open area at the middle. Plenty of transport options or parking and also in walking range of a retail park. So plenty of choices for everyone looking for anything. Only thing its really missing is entertainment for teens and adults.

This is an amazing shopping centre Lots of free parking, wheelchair accessible and plenty of spaces Loads of space in the parking bays as well Lots of lifts and accesability Shops of all kinds not much you can't find here cheaper shops as well as more expensive ones so a nice mix Plenty of seating, toilets, food areas and kids rides to keep them entertained Great lighting and very clean and looked after Tram stop near by Every staff member I spoke too was helpful and kind Great place to come too 5*

Nice place to visit, some lovely independent shops. Could do with more toilets and the car park gets very full. Still does not stop me going, a good few hours of shopping.

  • 4/5 Lunn O. 1 year ago on Google
Variety of stores including some fast food/coffee. Plenty of parking, though can be extremely busy during peak retail hours. Traffic calming measures not always adequate so small children, animals and those with disabilities may require additional support to safely navigate.

Nice set of shops with great variety all in relatively new-build units. Easy road, pedestrian and public transport access (both bus and tram). Only fault is that it is a little far in location from central Sheffield, but a great shopping destination for those based in the east of the city.

Crystal peaks is the most convenient place for me to visit. There are many shops that I use regularly most of the shops are off site to the main shopping center so good if you like open fresh air shopping. A few more named shops would be a good addition though because when I go gift shopping I sometimes have to go to a large named shopping centre, that I loathe and dread visiting, if I want specific gifts.

Costa coffee is different from store to store. Personal preference comes into it. For me, this one isn't as nice as others. But I cant mark down as everyone is different. It's a fairly quiet and fast moving drive through. Quick service and every trip we have been greater by nice staff. I would recommend this Costa and we continue to use it.

Nice place for shopping always busy plus not far from both teams and buses. If you're looking for a quick bite or drink I recommend Tim Hortons. The shopping village is nice and plenty of shops to look at

As a Canadian, the British Timmy's experience is strange. The coffee and doughnuts are as they are in Canada (that is, not amazing but consistent in production), though here there are also some unexpected additions to the menu including burgers and waffle fries. Not great, not bad - and a nice opportunity for a pilgrimage from my home in Sheffield.

All you need for an enjoyable shopping expedition with accessible amenities and places to eat. Has the addition of a nearby retail park but this lacks washroom facilities unless visiting usual retail park eatery of some sort e.g. KFC.

Plenty of shops that sell a range of goods. an indoor market that has gone down hill since crystal peaks opened. It could do with a couple of cafes that do lunch menus a few where snacks and drinks are served. Good transport links tram and buses

Worth a visit with many types of shops...Next. Sainsbury. Marks and Spencer. Boots, to coffee shops and small retailers. There's a food market and general market area. Accessible by bus, tram or car.

Large park with many good shops and supermarket. Places to eat. Fresh baked pies etc. Indoor market. Very good. Used by our family for years.

Good parking but can get busy. Went in kids holidays and was busy. Shops are quite simular and not as many with variety disappointing

This is becoming a ghost town it has steadily declined in the last few years. There are a few good stores left and the additions of Next and M&S have been good, but there are a lot of empty units now, the Market has really declined, a few good stalls, but not many. The Market Hall itself looks filthy and is dingy, really needs a good spruce up. Great if you are after a new phone a bit of food to eat or a charity shop purchase coz there are lots of shops that cater to this. A word of caution about the smell inside the Mall if you like roast pork you'll love it, but if you find it nauseating don't enter, since the new Beres shop opened that's all you can smell.

Ideal place to go shopping when accompanying a person with mobility issues, under cover and easy accessible with a wheelchair. Also Beres do the best pork sandwiches, delicious.

  • 3/5 Dan B. 1 year ago on Google
It's quite expensive, the food is fine but not great, a burger (claimed to be delicious) and this hotdog we're about £18 with drinks and fries. Fry portions seem small, they're lattice fries and you get a handful of them. The drinks were about 50% sugar and weren't to my taste. Probably wouldn't go back as there's other places nearby with better food for comparable prices

If you like eating, love a cheap bargain, and don't mind having your eyebrows threaded at the top of an escalator, then Peaks is the one 👌 😉

  • 4/5 Ben C. 1 year ago on Google
Very useful having this place local. The range of shops is good, M&S, Next, Sainsburys, phone, game, food, everything you need really. The game shop in the market is great and so is the hardware store in there that has all the things you forget you need and nobody other than Amazon want to sell. I'd like something extra for men's clothes but those retailers are declining in general. I'd love for them to ditch the heart foundation (so expensive!) and use all that basement space for entertainment facilities like arcade/pub/kids trampoline place or some stuff like that. Parking can be problematic at busy periods these days which is only reason for me it loses a star. The Argos is much worse (stock availability) since it moved to Sainsbury's, but that's a criticism of them and not peaks.

  • 5/5 TONY 1 year ago on Google
Not the biggest of places but it has all the shops you would ever need, alot more relaxing atmosphere than places like meadowhall which is a positive, plus they have a beres pork sandwich shop which is the best place around

  • 4/5 Christian H. 1 year ago on Google
Quite a good selection of shops, parking at the Home Bargain/Aldi area is very limited but if you don't mind parking in the main area and are able to walk (it's not far but such as myself while not disabled I'm not able to walk too far especially carrying shopping etc). There's a good selection if places to get something to eat or drink too.

  • 1/5 Anthony W. 1 year ago on Google
Despite the signs clearly stating a 4 hour parking limit (which seems tight for shopping as it is), I received a £100 parking fine for staying there 3 hours and 10 minutes. Even though I was there to spend money and have a day out, I was harassed into paying this. Sad, because it has put me off returning to this place. I wish I would have read the other reviews before visiting. Whatever you do, DO NOT PARK HERE.

Brilliant Home Bargains store, really good! Mr Tumble cuddly that talks when squeezed is hf the Amazon price here! Yep, random, but trust me, your kids will live it! 2 young granddaughters love it! Costa us a good catch up too!

Crystal Peaks Shopping in Sheffield is a great local shopping center that offers a good variety of shops and services. While it can't be compared to the larger shopping centers like Meadowhall, it's a great option for those who don't want to travel too far for their shopping needs. The variety of stores is good and I always find what I'm looking for. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is always helpful. I highly recommend giving Crystal Peaks a try if you're in the Sheffield area.

Review: Crystal Peaks - Sheffield Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Crystal Peaks in Sheffield is a large shopping centre that hosts a wide range of retailers, from high street fashion brands to supermarkets and specialty shops. While it offers convenience and variety, the shopping experience could benefit from some improvements. The array of stores available at Crystal Peaks is comprehensive, meaning you're likely to find what you need. Whether you're on a hunt for the latest fashion trends, doing a weekly grocery haul, or exploring home decor options, Crystal Peaks has a decent offering. The presence of a few eateries and cafes also provides decent options for a quick bite or a casual meal. On the downside, the shopping centre can sometimes feel overcrowded, particularly during weekends and peak shopping times. The congestion not only makes shopping less enjoyable, but it can also lead to longer waiting times at checkout lines and limited seating availability in the food court. The layout of Crystal Peaks could also be more user-friendly. Signage isn't always clear, which can make navigation slightly difficult for first-time visitors. Additionally, while the centre is generally clean, there have been instances where cleanliness in common areas, including restrooms, could have been better maintained. The staff across the stores in Crystal Peaks are generally helpful and polite, though service can sometimes feel rushed during busier times. Parking facilities are ample, although finding a spot can be a challenge during peak hours. Public transport links are good, with several bus lines stopping nearby, making it a fairly accessible location. Overall, Crystal Peaks earns a 3-star rating. It serves as a one-stop-shop for many shopping needs, but it could definitely improve in terms of layout clarity, crowd management, and maintaining cleanliness during peak times.

My second home. Great for meeting up with friends. My only gripe is a lot of the shops are so tightly stocked, the aisles are often unaccessible for wheelchair users so I often get left sat outside while hubby shops.

A lively, but smaller Shopping Centre for day to day needs and more. Most genres of shopping available, from shoe shops, to clothing shops, gift shops, Opticians, Chemists, Holland & Barrett, and several Charity shops. Also Coffee shops and a Sainsburys Supermarket. Crystal Peaks has an indoor market with cafes, and stalls selling genres of items from bread, Jewellery (and repairs),cosmetics and others. Free Parking is available, busy days seem to be Tuesdays. Natwest Bank, and a good little library, an estate agents are present.
