This is my favorite mall to shop at its also the largest mall we have in BC. It's huge I believe it's 4 floors with a Walmart and superstore inside. The mc donalds is not in the walmart but near the Kingsway exit. Metro town has every store u can think of including a Samsung and okelys store, the mall is also well decorated with huge glass sun room areas and large bamboo plants that are like 40 feet tall. There is an over abundance of white paint everywhere is brite, could have used little more colour. There is a bus loop and the sky train right outside the mall and a huge food court. Great place to shop on weekdays, gets super packed on the weekend. 💯💯

You can basically find a branch of mostly any store out there. It's well run. One negative point is lack of choice in food court, with over 400 stores you expect more options for the food court speciallyif you spend few hours there. There are same fixed restaurants in other malls. Parking is big enough but make sure you take a note of where you park so you don't spend couple of hours looking for your vehicle (believe me no matter how silly if might look but you can get lost), there are different floors with separate entrance to parking area which underground are not connected.

If you’re looking for a lot of stores under one roof this is the place for you. It’s your typical indoor shopping 🛍 mall. There is nothing missing here. There is ample parking and the skytrain stops here. There are washroom facilities available here and the mall is well lit and clean. It’s a little dated but that’s okay. The mall has lots of elevators and escalators to get you from floor to floor. The mall is easy to navigate through. The only thing is it is generally crowded. From a shopping perspective this mall is a shoppers paradise.

I always like Metrotown because there delicious snakes, good shops and sales and there is Nike store there. Overall I love the experience of walking all around and look at new things. Movie theater, good restaurants and foodcourt is also located there.

They currently have this unique art exhibit that all these ocean animals are made of the debris collected form the Pacific Ocean seashores. It’s hard to believe there’re so many garbages floating in the ocean and came all the way from the other side of the ocean. This is such a brilliant way to recycle garbage and carry out the publicity of environmental protection.

Locks aren't working on some of the women's washroom stalls by the food court. Need improvements on the directional maps throughout the mall. No hard copy maps are available at any of them, the QR code leads you to the Metrotown website but that is a dead end, you need to know specifically what store you are looking for, if you try to go back to the main site, you are met with a blank page. The only option I had was to google Metrotown and try to fumble through. All I wanted was to find daisies and the body shop and it took forever to find Daisos and I never did find the Body Shop. Frustrating and disappointing. I was surprised that there wasn't more decorations, although what they did have was wonderful. I had lunch at McDonald's and it was superior in their customer service, they were on game. The lobby was clean, spacious and well maintained. Thanks McDonald's for making my experience great.

My friends and I were on our way back to the US from a trip to Vancouver BC and I wanted to buy a souvenir, so I googled “Canadian gift shops” and this place popped up. My friends stayed in the car while I went in since we figure I’d be in and out quickly, but this massive fortress of a mall had me searching for this elusive gift shop for half an hour before I found it on edge of the top floor. I spent the next 45 minutes attempting to find an exit to this mall, and, having no service on my phone, I was left at the mercy of the various mostly unlabeled store maps. I somehow ended up in a strange stairwell that looked like it was straight out of the backrooms and I wound up in an entirely different parking lot than I came in from. I tried calling my friends, only to find out two of them had left the car and gone into the store to find me. I then ventured back into the labyrinth and attempted to bring my friends to where I was. “Go towards the big octopus,” I told them, hopeful they’d end up in the Grand Hall where I was. “Is the grand atrium the same as the grand hall?” They asked over the phone with muffled and inconsistent reception. It was truly a bewildering experience I’ll never forget. We finally reunited after another half hour and got back to the parking lot 20 minutes later to find our last friend asleep, having grown tired of our shenanigans. Now, whenever I’m drying dishes and I use the Canadian flag dish towel, I’ll remember how lost I was in this amalgamation of stores and gift shops. Tbh this place would make a good escape room. No puzzles, the only challenge is just to find the same exit you came in from.

I have worked in Metro town. I shop there once a month. Major congregation of regulars that use the mall as their own private living room. Not shopping, just taking up space. Heavy turnover.

Beautiful display inside the mall!! What an inspiring display of those who stand up for Plant Earth!! Incredible opportunity to see this up close and in person!! I'm putting up my 5 stars up!! 3 weeks ago review This mall is 5 stars and I do love coming to shop here because of its size and how many shops are in this one mall. BUT if you are coming to this mall I would advise not to use the washrooms ...the women's public washroom are absolutely SOOOO DISGUSTING that I have to run to The Hudson Bay to use the washroom or hold my bladder till I get home. In my 3 years of going around different malls in GVA ( Greater Vancouver Area) I've never seen it that bad...I'm so disgusted to know how many women who go to this mall have no consideration for other women or young children who need to use the toilet. I feel bad for the cleaner who has to deal with all that mess on a Saturday afternoon.

I spent a full nine months in this huge and gorgeous mall full days after school when I was a student in Vancouver, I miss strawberry bubble tea at the T&T supermarket so much! I hope that one day I can come back to drink it again! I loved going to the Victoria Secret store :)

Wow, this place is huge and awesome, unlike a lot of malls I’ve been recently this one is thriving with an abundance of stores and square footage you’ll be doing a lot of walking if you want to try to see it all. A quick walk across the street from the sky train, it has typical mall staples with many not so common stores like a real Daiso Japanese store , another Japanese store that the name escapes me, and lots of boutique shops, Giant food court, an Asian grocery store, a toys r us and a walmart. I should have gotten there earlier , as they started closing some of the stores at 7pm on a Sunday. The mall was impeccably clean and lots of shoppers brought back those vibes of what the best things about malls were.

One of the better Malls in the city, Metropolis boasts hundreds of retailers over numerous branches. It has two main grocery hubs in Walmart and Real Canadian Superstore and a large number of other household names. The mall itself is light, airy and spacious with plenty of space to accommodate the busy footfall. Parking is on several levels in multiple areas so it has availability to suit everyone. I tend to avoid it at the weekend as I prefer quiet shopping. Toilets are clean and well maintained but are showing age at this point. One or two locks missing in some cubicles. The food court is good with plenty on offer. Only complaint is there is no regulated plan for queueing. This area could also benefit from a refresh. Having said that we eat there regularly.

I love shopping at Metrotown with the variety of stores but parking can be a hassle- especially surface area parking. My favourite lot is near Walmart. Metropolis is clean and has such a wide variety of stores, including Superstore, Indigo, Apple. I liked how the atrium had a big lunar new year display. Lots of sitting areas and nicely laid out. There’s a big food court that keeps expanding as well. There are medical offices located in Metropolis as well on the highest level.

A great mall for shopping and spending time with family and friends. Sometimes you can find good deals and sales but it totally depend what shop you are interested in. The main and the biggest issue is the parking in my idea. If you want to leave the mall in rush hours you may get stuck for at least an hour! Recommend spending a day here if you are visiting Vancouver.

Black Friday today wasn't too crazy especially in the morning. Strongly advise that if people want to shop, to wake up early and get it done. I would have thought they put more hand sanitizer stations around the mall in general. All the individual stores do their best to do that. I thought the mall would make a better setup when people first come in. I would strongly suggest that hand sanitizer stations be put when you go from the underground parking entrance and touching the two sets of push doors and then heading up the escalator. Particularly in the mall entrance areas. Otherwise , the mall has continued to evolve and grow since the 90s and continues to get bigger with a large selection of stores. Can pretty much fine anything you need here.

One of the biggest and prettiest malls we’ve ever come across. A single day will never do. We need several days to cover the entire mall. Fantastic place for food and entertainment as well as some much needed grocery-shopping when needed (which is like always).

Metrotown is my favourite shopping mall in Vancouver. My absolute favourites are Ooomomo and Muji :D I get so much joy from shopping at these places. It seems like the Sportchek in this mall is larger than other branches. You can play awesome arcade games in some amazing game centres. Moreover, there are a lot of maps everywhere, so finding your way around is easy and there are also plenty of escalators and elevators, so moving from floor to floor is easy. Various foods are available at the food court, and the variety is superb. Most of the time, the mall is packed, which is pleasant for me. The mall is also conveniently located near the skytrain, free parking, and a bus loop.

The mall is great with so many shops!! The hours are good and the washroom are clean (you can call if you find any washroom unclean). Social distancing is in place (but hardly anyone follows). There is no dull moment at this huge mall. Everything under one Roof. Food court is always neat and tidy . The only problem recently has been creating some tension, is the way tables and chairs at food court has been set , because of social distancing. It could have been set more properly so there would be both social distancing and more tables available for all the visitors for this popular Mall . Employees and security at food court Rock.

Biggest mall and the heart of the town, combination of many well known branches and shops where products or services in varied level are displaying, there is also grocery super markets inside the mall. In addition, the mall is located at metrotown - transfer station of bus & train routes that is quite busy from dawn to dark. The food court includes many food shops as well and it is quite cheap if compare with single restaurants nearby

Cineplex is cineplex, I always get excited when we have a movie day, the best thing is that my kids enjoy with the mini arcade in the waiting time; about the food, the popcorn is always fresh and you have many options and combinations to choice your drinks. The bathroom was decent clean and the installations as well.

Great selection of stores and food, but the recycling system here is disappointing. They have a system that provides for paper and return it items (pop cans and bottles) but there is nothing for plastics, which in 2019 is sub-par. Edited to add that the recycling is still sub-par in 2021.

I live close to the mall so Metrotown is like my 2nd home. It’s not only my go-to for groceries but also for all the major stores in Canada. It has a variety of brands located across 3 floors, with a huge food court on the top floor, along with dentists, nail spas, bakeries, and more! You can never come back from the mall empty-handed! Also they will have amazing displays like this in the centre during different events. This one is from Christmas last year :)

Come here all the time. Convenient hand sanitizers are EVERYWHERE which is awesome! And lots of maps around the mall in case you get lost, which I do. Good food court but it can be hard to find a place to sit during lunchtime hours since COVID but it is what it is. Masks are heavily enforced and so are the directions in which you have to walk. Overall covid restrictions are in place so it feels pretty safe to shop here :)

I'm thrilled to share that Fortune Creek has opened a new location in METROPOLIS at Metrotown, conveniently situated in front of MUJI and DECATHLON on the ground floor. This is a game-changer, sparing me the need to travel to Kelowna for my purchases. As Christmas approaches, my favorite gifts for family and friends always include Fortune Creek's Beef Jerky, Rum Cake, Sausages, and their delectable BBQ sauce. I'm eagerly anticipating the festive season and spreading the joy with these fantastic products!

Great selection of shopping stores! We frequented here for some bubble tea but the greatest struggle was navigating the parking lot. There is limited signage and the maps were minimal, at least for new visitors to the area. We spent a solid hour going around the perimeter of the mall to find entrances to access our vehicle as the signage and sheer size of the parking lot was confusing.

Metrotown is the penultimate mall of the Greater Vancouver area. While it has lost a few big names over the last few years, it still has a consistent and vast array of shop types for both the upper end and lower. This used to be the best place for seeing movies as well due to the large number of parking spots, and having some of the widest selection in the city. Since, the theater has been surpassed by newer ones in various suburbs across the Vamcouver area. The food court is one of the best I've seen in a Vancouver mall surpassed only by Aberdeen Mall's food court. Overall this mall is a fantastic place to spend the day, see a movie, or grab a bite and is a must go if you plan to visit Vancouver in the near future.

The most inclusive mall with everything from geoceries, movies, books, snacks, shoes, dishware, to clothes. Very convenient overall. However it lacks many of the designer fashion brands, so if that is your aim, Vancouver malls are better suited. Usually very busy, washroom are not well kept sometimes so recommended to avoid. Food court ares does not seem safe during covid.

One of the go to places for shopping spree. Most of the brands are avaialble. There is always something on sale and pretty much everything under one roof. It was one of the most organized malls during the time of covid.

Mostly, Asian foods, pizza and Middle Eastern food. There is a coffee place also. Prices are reasonable. It...

👍 Love this place. Lots of different business here. Huge parking area in the center as well as in front of them individual businesses. Biggest store is the Canadian tire. Lots of food shops here. Cactus club cafe is on this location as well. I frequent this place a lot.
