Sunridge mall has variety of stores and you can get literally anything you want in there. Sunridge mall is open Mon-Sat from 10am-8pm, and on Sundays from 11am-5pm.

This mall is decent, the store selection is alright and it even has a fruit market. The only problem is there is always homeless people, the place has multiple security guards wandering around doing nothing. The security guards are always elderly men or 4’9 tall women, I don’t understand how you expect these guards to actually guard if there was a serious event. This mall should work more on keeping the homeless people out, they’re usually sitting on the floor doing crack.

Got a parking ticket here for no reason at all. There were no signs anywhere nearby indicating I could not park there nor were there any pay stations. For as long as I remembered parking at this mall was free. Oh well. Good thing there are plenty of better shopping malls nearby. I won't be going back.

Architecture is nothing short of marvellous. Tons of sun streaming in, highlighting the impeccable cleanliness of this space. The security guard we crossed paths with was very polite. We heard them communicating Covid-19 restrictions to a visitor they had a language barrier with, and were blown away by their sensitivity. I would recommend this mall, and look forward to visiting after the restriction have lifted.

-42°c with the windchill. And they close the gates inside the mall, forcing people to walk outside around the mall. With kids, and bags full of everything you bought. What happens if someone is in a wheelchair? How do they expect people to navigate their way around the parking lot?

I was lost in this mall a few years ago when I was 13 and the kind, heart warming ladies at Jugo juice helped me find my mom and calm me down I would recommend this area for anyone to feel save.

As with most retail malls, the effects of Covid are visible with some stores closed. We all just need to make the best of it and endeavour to support these locations with our retail dollars.

This mall is in my opinion better than Polo Park mall in Winnipeg. It's 2x bigger so it has more shops inside. Shoppers Drug Mart is 2x larger too. The rest rooms were clean. Like Polo Park Mall, it's easily accessible by bus or train at a nearby train station across the street.

I visited this mall during a Thursday morning, and everything seemed calm and relaxing. This mall wasn't crowded. The washroom in the main floor was stinky. However, everything looked clean and spotless.

OK mall - I’d only go here for specific stores, not necessarily to stroll around. I’m giving this place 4 stars because I was very entertained by the number of animal scooters roaming around. I decided to rent one myself for 10 minutes which cost me $8. Worth.
1 person found this review helpful 👍

  • 4/5 Priya M. 8 months ago on Google
It's a small mall where you get fancy animal scooters for adults which is helpful for seniors who can't walk. All major stores like Bay,Arlene,Urban planet, bell and many more are there.

Mall in Calgary with most of popular stores available.main entrance is at 36 street NE, and other doors are at each directions. It has good connectivity with LRT , MAX bus and Calgary transit bus too. There is a bus service from airdrie transit. If you want to go to crossiron mall using transit, this (Sunridge) is the right place to start. There is a direct bus from Sunridge to crossiron mall. Plenty of parking available, I don’t think there is underground parking made here. This mall also has an Indian grocery store named daily fresh produce, they have cheapest fresh vegetables and fruits in Calgary. Usually it is a maintained and clean mall. They also support morning walk during winters.

The mall inside is alright. But I really hate the design of their new driveway. It's so confusing. The path and cut-offs feel more like a maze. Crazy!

  • 3/5 Maria S. 3 years ago on Google
Very low key mall compared with upscale Chinook mall. Most of people just come for a stroll inside. A lot are wearing face masks useless under their nose. Empty shops too. The mall cleaners busy talking and checking their mobiles. Strange vibe!

I use to love this mall. Would shop here all the time until tonight when security literally came up asked me if I was done all my shopping cause it’s the malls bylaw and that I’m not allowed to have my kids there and need to leave immediately. I seen hundreds of kids there and security didn’t say anything to them. But he picked me and my family out of the crowd to make a scene. Couldn’t believe he would do that or embarrass us infront of people like that.

Decent mall but the food court needs to be cleaned more. Last year I saw roaches in the food court and I told the info booth and they just said gross but never said they would get anyone to do an extra cleaning or anything. I don’t know if they have changed and started to be more clean but I still go want to go back and eat there…

Very very close to Ctrain station so anyone can easily travel here from any quadrant of Calgary. Weekend destination for shopping and spending time.

I love the variety of shops in Sunridge Mall. When we were going to have lunch in the food court, the security guard who checked our vaccination "passport," was so nice, and even reminded me of Luke Skywalker because of his haircut. So pleasant to speak with. 😊

  • 5/5 Keverly P. 2 years ago on Google
This mall is good, it has all basic stores you would want in a mall including a grocery store. Although it doesn't have many high end stores you can still get lots of shopping done. The food court has a good variety and the line to get in and show your vaccination status isn't terrible.

Surprised by the quality of the mall, despite being in the north east. This is definitely comparable to Chinook mall and market mall. Maybe even better. The selection of the shops they got it just awesome.

Sunridge Mall 18 Street; NE Calgary has so many shops under one roof including Urban Planet and Shoppers Drug Mart not to mention Hudson Bay if you are looking to pamper yourself with branded perfumes and make up this is the place . It’s so varied from Timberlands or Travel suitcases not forgetting the food court on the upper floor with so much to choose from. All the Razz and jazz is right here under one roof. Or if you are looking to wax/ thread your eyebrows, get connected by any phone network provider Rogers, TellUS, Fido, Chatr) to the outside world Awesome place no two ways about it.

From my home I can walk there in 15 minutes. My dental service and many other services are close by and I often walk there for the exercise. The food garden there has a very wide selection of eating services, so it's nice to go there for a visit at least once per week. My wife loves to shop for fruit and vegetables at a store that always has a wide variety of products to select from. Their prices are also very low.

  • 1/5 fei w. 2 years ago on Google
You need to be really careful when you park there. Once you leave Sunridge mall parking lot to any store nearby, you get a fine about $90. No matter you come back to shop there or not. This is not how you treat your customers who used to come every week! The most unfriendly shopping mall ever!!!

  • 5/5 Caryl L. 1 year ago on Google
Big mall with lots of different stores, including a fresh market specializing in East India products. This was cool to walk around in and see! Love the diversity! The mall was also well maintained and clean!

I wanted to share my experience with Advance Salon when I was 20. I got lash extensions and decided I wanted them removed. I went to this salon, and the woman who did it essentially RIPPED them off. My natural lash line was now essentially bald. I couldn't reapply lashes if I wanted to because no natural lashes were left. My lashes were never the same. It was painful, and she did the procedure so fast that I could barely speak up if I wanted. Now that I am older and not so timid, I realize I experienced assault. This was aggressive and painful, with no care for my skin or hair. I should not have been able to feel the lashes getting removed at all. If she did not have the means to do the procedure, she should not have done it. I wish I knew how to stand up for myself back then and was aware what was right or wrong. Too little too late now but I'm sharing my experience. I never got my lashes done again because of this experience. I am talking about it now 11 years later, that's how traumatic this was for me at the time and I have gone through so many different horrible experiences.

It's a good location with many things you would need. I highly recommend Daily fresh produce on the mall's east side, with probably the best prices for fruit and vegetables in the city. Buying a crate for $15 to $20 is a huge money saver. And the candy store near said store has a high variety of choices, hard find items and flavors in abundance

Some great deals to be had but you must check out the food court. Clean, organized and the food on offer is great. The people at the food establishments are courteous.

It was a wonderful experience. The mall has good options for women, men, and children. It has good architecture with a day lighting atrium that provides openness to the mall. There are some benches below the atrium to sit and relax. The mall has an attraction for kids to drive an artificial animal ride ( kids drive like motor bikes). It may be purchased for $8.9 for 10 minutes and can be extended if needed for more minutes with reasonable additional cost. The food court is spacious with decent options to eat except McDonald's, which we missed for our kid.

This mall is OK to visit if you live nearby and are planning to go and get what you need. Honestly, I didn't like the atmosphere. It looks like an old fashioned shopping mall. If you want to visit a mall to walk around and enjoy your time, I would recommend you going somewhere else.
