I’ve been visiting Ridgedale for decades. This mall and Rosedale are the two malls in the Twin Cities that continue to refresh, evolve and keep everything looking great. Clean and plenty of shopping options. There are numerous restaurants and other retail options across the street making this entire area a huge shopping area.

This mall has great stores but its also kind of dangerous. There's holes in the tiles around the mall, there's chairs that are falling apart, and I had a table almost fall on my toes. For this mall to be upscale it surely doesn't, I go to the bathroom and l can easily take napkins if I wanted too. Everything in the bathrooms are broken, Mall of America looks better. I go several times and I never really see security till the mall closes so, frankly I don't feel safe since I saw security one time just sitting down in the center court. Over all the mall is clean. I did see that management left Christmas decor up even though it's spring.

Ridgedale mall is a nice place to go when you want to buy gifts and or just window shop or just have a place to go walking most eatery's are nice and the stores are close enough you can walk around and visit the majority of them without issues of being to crowded one of my favorites is the Pink lilie items are made by local talent located upstairs by the chai time booth which is also worth a try

Best shopping mall around! Great restaurants and stores. The inside is very clean and there is enough to do for the whole day. Ridgedale is in a stellar area and has many fun places all around it!

Stopped in because the child needed to run around and not be in the car. After walking around for a while, I learned that they got rid of the play place for kids and now it's some play pace that you have to pay $15 dollars for. In what world does that price make any sense. In a world where mall attendance is dead. This is a good way to have parents have no reason to show up. What a bad idea For refrance they have indoor parks all over the city including a huge one in Maple Grove. They are all less money than this expensive hole in the wall.

Really great mall conveniently located. Have some great local stores mixed with the big box ones for a good shopping experience. We always go here for Christmas shopping and throughout the year.

Good place for walkers. They are following Minnetonka's Mask mandate. Most walkers and shoppers comply. Yes, there are those citizens that do not. If they only understood if we all banded together we could end this pandemic much sooner!

Lots of cool shops in this mall. I liked it. However some of the prices were a bit steep but hey...its Minnetonka I expect nothing less lol. My favorite shop was lush I highly recommend them. All vegetarian and vegan cosmetic skin and hair care products that 100% cruelty free no animal testing. Way to go you guys! I recommend this mall if you have the cash flow.

Lots of amazing stores to choose from that are not only relevant, but fairly priced. There are also some expensive stores that you can check out for more formal or trendy clothing. After you shop you can also check out restaurants like The Kona Grill! Highly recommend for clothes, toys, lunch, and more.

We used to live within walking (long walks but still...) of Ridgedale so we have a long history here. I am so impressed with how the mall has evolved and stayed relevant while other malls have suffered. Fun and active vibe, nice stores and great restaurant options make it fun place to hang out.

Opens at 11 am. Strange. This booth with the most beautiful wood pieces is in front of Macy's on the 2nd floor. The owner is a true artisan.

The atmosphere was decent, and the pricing wasn't bad. The server wasn't very attentive. I had to make eye contact multiple times before I could get him to help. I was willing to buy an appetizer and extra sides and maybe even desert, but he just asked me what I wanted, and when I said I was interested in the beef wellington, he just said ok and walked off... he didn't ever ask if I wanted anything else. The beef wellington was decent, but I didn't care for the beats.. they made a beautiful garnish, but the way they were prepared, they didn't have any flavor and didn't really add to the dish.

Nice place to shop or window shop with the family and de-stress from the day. Have lunch, dinner or just a ice coffee with friends or family and just walk around. The place is not too big or small, its good for a nice walk.

It was 4 stars but I've dropped it down to 2 since my last visit there (6/30)... The reasons, 2 Major things!! #1, Hand Sanitizers; Didn't see any!!! I entered the mall through the Macy's & Big Bowl's main entrance, I walk all the way to H&M and the whole way did not see one Hand Sanitizer station?!?!? at a time like this, not even 1 hand sanitizer station in the entire mall?!?!? C'mon Ridgedale.... #2, Didn't see any Cleaning personnel in the mall?!?!? All the high contact areas like door handles, escalator handles, elevator buttons, no one's cleaning or disinfecting it... if no one's cleaning, at least give us sanitizer so we can clean our hands!! Because of these 2 major flaws I will not visit Ridgedale again and I would advise anyone that do not have their own hand sanitizer also DO NOT visit this mall... ROSEDALE Shopping Center has Hand Sanitizers right at the entrance, isn't both these Malls own by Simon Properties??

I really like the updates of this mall. A few years ago they were tiled the entire mall that really makes it look good. They try hard for a variety of different shops. The best thing about this mall though are the two anchor restaurants. It’s also nice to have a Nordstrom’s.

This is a really nice mall, especially compared to others in the Twin Cities area (I'm looking at you, Burnsville!). All the stores were clean and brightly lit, and the mall seemed busy (which is a good thing on a Saturday afternoon!). The selection of stores was good as well - even if we were a tiny bit disappointed at the lack of coffee options. Sorry, we just aren't Caribou people! This is a mall I will shop at in the future, especially if I'm in the area already.

I've been coming to Ridgedale my entire life. It has changed a lot over the years but man every time I walk into that place I always feel a sense of reminiscence. There are tons of places to eat and to shop, as any good mall should have, and it is well kept and pleasing to the eye.

Great place to shop during the holiday. Lots of shops in the same location, including cheese cake factory restaurant alone with a cafe shop in the middle of all the shops. When you're there, the first thing you notice is the strong mocha that makes you want to look for it. You can shop or sit around waiting watching other shoppers walking from shop to shop while during a cup of mocha or spring water. Good experience.

  • 5/5 Nessa P. 3 years ago on Google
Never been here but you people downrating for the Mall not providing hand sanitizers and masks out of their own expense are ridiculous. Buy. Your Own. Hand Sanitizer. Make your own! Or you know what? GO TO THE BATHROOM AND WASH YOUR HANDS! That works even better. Hand Sanitizers are proven to not work after awhile and weaken your immune system. Stop thinking the Mall should look out after you. Don't wanna get sick? DON'T GO OUT. Idiots.

  • 3/5 Roshan R. 3 years ago on Google
Unfortunately the majority if Ridgedale Mall shops don't open until 11:30am. Most restaurants were open by 11am. And due to COVID-19, the Children's Play Area was closed. So thank goodness Nordstroms was open before everyone else, we got our clothing shopping done, and the staff there was friendly and efficient. Then Kona was open and barely busy, so immediate seating without a reservation for lunch in the front enclosed patio. This made things better, especially when you have an energetic 15-month old with you

One of the few decent malls in Hennepin County, Ridgedale Center/Ridgedale Mall contains several different stores including major brand-name stores and a few pop-up kiosks. Alongside the shopping there are a few restaurants inside the mall, including an Auntie Anne's pretzels. However this location loses a star due to the amount of blank spaces due to stores that have shut down or simply left. While I understand the mall cannot do anything without store owners wanting to rent a place inside the mall, it does look rather unattractive.

Excellent knowledge and service including curbside pickup - after searching the internet for the Ticket to Ride expansion at ridiculous price points I was pleased to find it right here in Minnesota at the fair distribution listed price. Definitely will check at this store (Ridgedale) in the future instead of wasting time on the internet. Can't wait to play with the full size cards and additional game rule options. I think Hanabi will be interesting too - reminds me of Jaipur which is very good too! Game time!!

I went to Redstones at Ridgedale. The food was excellent. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food. We got the filet, the New York strip, the prime rib, baby back ribs and a hamburger. Two of us also ordered their cornbread to go. They have a wonderful maple butter for it. I would definitely go back.

What an absolutely wonderful experience. The service was the best service I've had since the pandemic started, and I dare say I believe it may have been the best service I've ever received. Not to over the top, perfectly friendly and respectful, not lacking in anyway, he had suggestions when I asked and everything was brought out in a nice and timely manner. Then the food, oh the food. My husband had a French Dip Cheese Burger, which I have never heard of, but upon tasting was one of the most delicious things, my one son had the baked salmon and the other had the mac and cheese which were both rather good; for myself I had the Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic. Let me just say how absolutely impressed my taste buds where. It's been such a long time since I have thought such a pretty bill ( and I've seen prettier) was worth the food and experience, but this absolutely without a doubt was well worth every penny.

A lot of the stores seem to run their own schedule, which I find odd for a mall. It is clean and relatively well kept. Unfortunately malls seem to be slowly going away with lots of store closures. Overall, this is a decent mall and I enjoy coming here.

One of my fav malls. A lot of beautiful changes. Clean. Its located in an area that is growing. This mall has big brands and small niche shops, that's what makes this mall unique. I feel refreshed from the natural light you receive in the main concourse. I love coming here

One of the few decent suburban malls left, it seems, in Minnesota. Not a ghost town mall that one sees very often these days. That's not saying much. However, I find that it's gotten a little ghetto for my taste unlike in times past. Same goes for the once legendary MOA of the 90s.

  • 5/5 Markus W. 1 year ago on Google
Ridgedale has amazing shops. Its the perfect place for a friendly outing or a quick shopping trip. Anything you could possibly need can be found within the walls of Ridgedale.

  • 4/5 Chris G. 1 year ago on Google
Holy cow, this place is still around? What happened to the Hot Topic? Literally the only reason to visit the mall was to go to that awkward smelling store to go see some friendly face piercings people. I never did pull the trigger on a nose ring, maybe it's just not my style. Anyways, they have a sports store at the mall now, so if you need sports things, you can visit that one store.

I enjoy going to this mall. There's still a good variety of stores open. Theres the department stores likr jc pennys and Macy's along with the smaller clothing stores like old navy, Victoria secret, then miscellaneous stores like apple, Claire's and of course the restaurants. Its never too busy. There's good parking all around and it's not very far from the doors. I didn't see too much security anywhere but I'm sure they're there. Overall, I like this mall... its diverse and comfortably safe.

  • 5/5 Jennifer G. 1 year ago on Google
We really like Ridgedale overall! Favorite stores to stop in are Old Navy and H&M for baby clothes and they have 2 nice nursing rooms on the 2nd floor near the bathrooms.

  • 5/5 Raquel G. 1 year ago on Google
It’s so nice to see an active mall!! You hardly noticed the empty stores because they’re so many retailers. We spent $500 on a beautiful sweater in one store and $10 for a sweatshirt at another retail store so the options in price are there. The parking lot is ample and everything was very clean. It’s in a great location right next to the highway and a walk across the street from the Sheraton.

Nice, clean mall. Not too huge nor overwhelming, but at the same same not too small. Super glad it has a LUSH store here, and all the other favorite shopping staples such as Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body works, etc. Has some nice restaurants and tidy restrooms.

Love this mall!! I always have the best time shopping with my husband! The Cheesecake Factory is on point with their delicious mac and cheese balls and their raspberry lemon drop! Macy always have plenty of great deals! I would recommend the candy store lolli & pops too if you looking for something sweet. They get their chocolates from other countries which is pretty cool. Check out their chocolate turtles, yummy!

Took my granddaughter to get her pictures taken with santa for the very 1st time But the largest package was not cheap They're photographer did not even give me a chance to try to make my granddaughter smile Minnesota weather blizzard outside so it was not busy at all didn't even get all the photos that I was supposed to get with the package emailed that company And they told me that I had to go back to get them reprinted I live over an hour away and that company was not going to be there after the holidays Ridgedale should truly do the research on who they have bring business to their mall. Sure does leave a bad taste in your mouth feeling of being robbed at Ridgedale mall at Christmas by their employees

This is a beautiful, expansive mall with recent remodels, upgrades, and the addition of Nordstrom in the last decade. I'd recommend it. Lots of easy parking surrounding the whole mall. Lots of to-go restaurants, or dining in-house, like Kona Grill and the fancy Redstone American Grill.

Great mall, beautiful since the last remodel. Unfortunately malls are not thriving like they did in the past, the mall closed at 7pm on a Thursday - news to me!! I hope Ridgedale can make a comeback.

It's big... and expensive, but what mall isn't? Our first time there we got lost for about 30 min. Used the maps, but apparently, we are illiterate. 😆

I was on a mission to find some white shirts for work. I went straight to the Backstage it's located inside Macy's upstairs. I knew I would find some good deals there. Because I worked there as a seasonal worker a year and a half ago. I did find 3 shirts all for 26.00 total. Two said 12.98 but rang up at 2.97 ! They have a lot of great deals up there. Some people don't like the fact that what you see is what they have. You can't just ask if they have anything in a different size or color. What they have is out on the floor. There isn't a back room full of stock. But that's how they have so many good deals.

This mall has gone down hill over the years. It took forever to find parking, then walking just to the door was long. After entering I tried to locate the store I was needing to go to and all of their digital maps of the mall weren't working, so it took forever to find and of course was on the opposite side of the mall that I was parked on. I didn't really see any other stores/restaurants that I was interested in or even liked anymore. Pretty disappointing.

We went to the Honey Baked Ham store. They had tasty samples. The Staff was well prepared for customers they were friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and well lit things were displayed nicely. They also had ham sandwiches for sale. These were a little disappointing. They were big on the bun, but skimpy on the meat. For a nice ham store with no want for ham. I expected that the ham sandwich would have at least as much as Arby sandwich. The sandwich contained a slice of processed Swiss cheese and a shaving of a tomato slice and three of the skimpiest left over pieces slices of ham that I've ever seen on a restaurant sandwich.

Nice store selection, lots of random places to sit and rest, bathrooms are nice and clean and the family is a huge plus. The only real letdown is the lack of some sort of food court. Yes, there's some food places scattered, but would be nice for a little bit larger selection.

This is a nice indoor mall that still keeps all it's tenant spaces filled. There are a large assortment of stores which was excellent for us as we were holiday gift shopping. It's easy to spend an entire day here starting with coffee in the morning exploring the various shops throughout the day, having a stack for lunch & finishing with dinner at one of the restaurants. The mall is clean & safe. Unlike some others you might have been to in the metro area you won't find any gangs or other undesirables here. The mall had a definite holiday feel to it starting with the large lighted reindeer when we drove into the parking lot. Santa was here in the rotunda which was also decorated. Although we didn't encounter any specific mall employees, the employees of the various shops were fantastic without exception.

Just your typical mall. Although they are becoming obsolete with online shopping taking over....they are still fun to go to every once in a while, even with the slowly dwindling shops.

Fabulous mall. Clean. Well lit. Easy to get to. Lots of stores in and nearby. Wish Starbucks would stayed but can go to in target.

The mall is losing customers due to the different times the stores open. Some open at 10 a.m., while others open at 11 a.m. Now that the plants have been removed, the mall looks bare and a little bit desperate.

I truly don't understand this mall.. the department stores are terrible compared to Mall of America, the shops inside are limited and unappealing to me personally. Looks nicer from the outside. Unless you look online and they have what you need at Ridgedale, I wouldn't bother..

I just had the worst experience in this a few days ago Macys not only once but twice here at this location but most recent events……….I decided I wanted to shop for socks because I was easily distracted by wanting to check out some Ralph Lauren clothing (which I wear all the time) seen that I couldn’t quickly put anything together right away so I put the shirt back and proceeded with my Ralph Lauren clothing I already had from the woman’s section downstairs before proceeding upstairs but I get this very mean stare going down the escalator from this guy I didn’t think was following me but was but again not caring because I’m an honest shopper so what right…….so I go in the dressing room things didn’t fit and so I placed the clothing on the rack outside the dressing room (forgetting to mention) this same guy goes racing in the back of me on his walkie talkie before goin in the dressing room. So as I’m walking out he races to the dressing room and now only have the socks I originally came to get because at this point I didn’t even want to search for a bigger size because he was making me very uncomfortable at this point so I proceeded to the register closest to the door where I parked and paid for my socks and now he’s standing at the entrance and now I speak up and start recording him asking him why has he been following me throughout the store and what indication did I give him to think I’m stealing or had motives to do such a thing he then runs to the back of the store with no explanation given and slams the door behind him I asked to speak to a manager and did by the name of Zachary she apologized about the experience and took my number and haven’t heard anything since!!!! I usually don’t pull the race card but I’m African American woman and race played a roll and definitely felt racially profiled !!! Very disgusted in this Macy’s and the loss prevention team is a joke!!! The photo is of the recording when I started to ask what’s the issue!!!

Probably the dullest mall in Minnesota. Nothing about it really stands out. Stores are all generic and its the only mall in the area that doesn't have a proper food court. I'd honestly rather go to Burnsville mall. Which despite it's dying mall status has a food court and the vibe is immaculate especially for Halloween.

5 stars to the security team! They have been awesome and helpful with the scooter/wheelchair rentals. It’s great that this mall does not charge people for scooters/wheelchairs. Makes things easier when I’m shopping with my sister that has mobility difficulties.

👍👍 Jo-Ann Fabrics had all that I needed for my sewing supplies, and craft supplies. They have a very large selection of fabrics, and things for the home. They even have those furniture discs, I leave them under my furniture, so cleaning is a breeze!
