It's more beautiful and bigger than ours in South Bend. On vacation we stopped to see the movie 'the sound of freedom' a must watch.. I am glad we did. Great experience.

Best mall in this area. Every store was filled. There is a HUGE food court. Also a movie theater. What's not to love about Build a Bear??

Nice to see a mall that's still thriving in 2024! I came here a week ago and, despite the abundance of social media and modern day technology, there was still a lot of people here. It looks just like I remember too. We just walked around, but one thing that stood out to me was the food court. They have cool foods you don't usually see at malls in this area such as Latin American food.

Excellent mall. Fantastic looking both inside and out. A lot of huge big name stores such as FYE. A great food court and a carousel for the children. 2 levels and very well lit with excellent handicap access.

This mall has great shops/department stores, a decent food court, and is in a great location. Lots around. My frustration is the mall itself is filthy. Very dirty restrooms, sticky dirty floors throughout the mall corridors. You could see dust and cobwebs in corners near the ceiling or by signs in the food court. The overall cleanliness of this mall needs to be checked on soon.

Not too busy there today. Two of the down escalators were closed (with their up-sides working), and I'm not very familiar with the mall, so I had to walk a long ways just to find stairs to go back down again. Looking for some work shoes today, went to a lot of shoe stores but barely found what I was looking for. Ate some delicious teriyaki chicken from Yihi Japan. Overall a pleasant experience, except the closed escalators, and this was around 6 pm on a Friday evening.

It's been several years now if not more since the last time I came here. Cinema was always fun and I like that you don't have to go through the mall just to see a movie. I remember when this placed open and all the hustle and bustle. I remember making a Build-A-Bear here when I was 15, eating at Kahunaville, and shopping at Natural Wonders. I think this was (is?) a decent mall, but the amount of stores coming and going is rather bleak. I still prefer Woodland mall to Rivertown, but I wouldn't hesitate to come here again if I am up in the area. If the carousel is still there and working, go on it. Age be damned. Go on it, feel like a kid again, and smile.

A lot more stores and food options here than our mall. Best mall I’ve been to ever. We love the sushi to go! Definitely will come back here!!

Nice little reading area for kids inside the mall, near the kids play area...even a DIY idea for a crafty parent...the fire is cool with lights

As far as malls go, it's one of the better ones around. They could use a better selection of sit-down restaurants. More focus is on the food court. Could us a watch shop, Casio maybe.

Could use some help staying relevant, Bottom consists mostly of higher end clothing and 1/4 of the top is non existent, a lot of businesses seem to be going away with nobody filling those vacancies. I think it needs a few more coffee/hang out shops or more odd end stores that aren’t aimed to specifically upper class just to normalize and even out the stuffy mood the mall seems to have had over the past few years. Personally i think the woodland mall is doing this much better at the moment

Malls have changed a lot in the last 10 years. Large brands no longer dominate the interior. Small businesses occupy around 50% of the space. As it was raining outside on the day I visited it was nice to get out of the rain and be able to shop without the discomfort of being wet.

I Love RiverTown Crossings Mall! I hadn't been out there in years, and even though the store I went there to go to was no longer there (very disappointing) I went into a few stores looking around & it was fun, but a little overwhelming! But I enjoyed the experience! The ambiance was great, all the different scenery and decorations was so cool! Definitely will be back! 👍🏾

Parking lot is getting worse and worse 🙄 still go to the mall from time to time. Mostly upon my son's request. Oh the nostalgia. But really loving the new crystal/rock shop in there called Earth's Gallery

This mall used to be awesome, but it's starting to fall apart. Feels like they haven't done any major maintenance since it opened. The second story parking near the Barnes and Noble feels super sketchy. Rebar keeping two concrete sections is just straight up missing. I hope the city or state does inspections and verifies it's safe. The bathrooms in the food court are disgusting. They need to put some serious focus on maintenance/refreshing the mall.

A nice 2 story mall that has quite a few stores. Sad that there isn't really any children's clothing store except the big stores like kohls, Macy, and JC Penny. But over a nice clean mall. It has a few activities for kids to do, like connect four, checkers, a reading tee pee, and a playground.

BIG honkin' mall still holding its own in this era where most are on the way out. Nice selection of stores (I'm looking at YOU, Toy Shelf!), open, clean architecture, and a strangely huge food court. While I didn't spend a lot of time there, the crowd was as thick as if it were still the eighties. Go forth and consume!

This mall used to be the one to go to, now with many stores leaving (wonder why), it's not. Most of the stores that left this mall, are still in business; Tanger Outlets is a perfect example. Malls are not dead (Great Lakes Crossing Mall/Somerset Collection), but this mall continues to make poor decisions. Whatever you did when this mall opened, do it again..

A nice mall. I think it is no less than woodland mall. There is no Starbucks except inside Barnes and Noble. There are family lounges and carousel. The stores collection are quite different. All in all, a nice place to go to do shopping and kids can play.

Dirty everywhere, kids play place was nasty and no hand sanitizers anywhere. All of them are empty. Bathrooms are gross, the floor makes me feel motion sick down by Macy’s it’s so uneven. Escalators all broken down, the parking lot is not safe anymore.

This mall is so disappointing. When I moved to the area just over 10 years ago, this was a great place to shop and socialize. We were here at 7:00 on a Friday night. Both the men’s and women’s restrooms were closed, with only the Family restroom open. The family restroom on both sides were disgusting- smelled like urine, toilet paper all over the place and sinks that don’t work. The stores, including the department stores, were desolate and dirty. This mall just makes me sad now.

Decent mall, while a couple of anchor stores have closed it still has lots of stores with good variety and decent food court options. Lots of things to do with kids. Is kept clean. If you go to the anchor stores before the mall itself is open be aware there is no mall access early, all doors are locked so you have to walk out drive around outside to each anchor store separately. Not a lot of sit down restaurant choices actually in the mall, those are all across the street. This mall is also usually quite warm, would suggest not bothering bringing even a sweater in with you.

Their covered parking needs to be repaved badly. Lots of potholes. Their escalator has been out of order for weeks, what's up with that? I feel like this mall is declining in popularity...

The mall was an adventure. . There are so many stores to choose from, and the new cotton candy machine was a blast to watch as it made our candy. It was also a sweet treat for the adults as well as the kids. Lunch at TGIFridays was delicious, and they accommodated our group. We spent the whole afternoon there before we realized how late it was. We will be going back soon!

Great mall, lots of nice stores with a wide offering. Clean, up kept very well and despite the one anchor store being boxed up and empty it’s still a great place to hang with friends and family. Food court has a great selection. And the movie theater is great.

River Town Crossing is a great mall. Lots of good stores and some new stores being constructed. Go check out the mall, weather your hungry, walking the mall or people watching to stay out of the heat!

  • 5/5 Jay F. 4 years ago on Google
A great multi level mall with stores for EVERYONE. Mid grade food court, lots of options. Awesome movie theater. Biggest FYE store in Michigan! Play area for the kids downstairs. Plus rideable animals for the kiddos that you can rent! Barnes and Nobles with a lot of good quiet reading spots and window seat views. They sell everything from sports equipment to prom dresses and there's even a build a bear!

Clean. Spacious. Few empty malls. Escalators. Elevator. Carousel. Arcades. Stopped in to kill a hour while in GR. Ended up staying longer. Will be back. Lots of kid friendly stores. Better mall than Midland. Family loved it here.

This place has gone down hill in the last year, bathrooms dirty, not just dirty but have not been cleaned in days, maybe weeks... Trash on the floors the play area for kids smelt dirty, no hand sanitizer any where. Really there for two hours did not see one janitor. Went there to have my granddaughter play on the carousel and of course that's down for maintenance, the food courts really, really dirty, just really unsatisfied with the mall I expect better up keep

Fun place to shop with the kids no matter the age. Grab some food from the many options in the food court area or even catch a movie in between shopping at the cinema. All the stores I went into had great friendly service that went above and beyond to make our school clothes shopping experience a memorable one.

LAST NIGHT I was Assaulted, attacked, wrongfully accused, harassed and discriminated by two employees at Rivertown mall in Grandville MI, in MACY'S. ..Male security guard and the Female employee, grabbed me, yanking on me violently and tugging me around, they snatched my purse from me and dumped my personal stuff out on the floor and then continued to harass me and kick my stuff.. AFTER I left out of there as they followed me still harassing me. I tried to report it to corporate and they hung up on me and blocked my number... I VIDEO RECORDED IT all from the start...

THIS PLACE IS HUGE!!! It also has to be my all time favorite mall in Michigan. There's so many hilarious and amazing stores and a giant food court. This place is definitely amazing for shopping around the Holidays and Birthday's. It's almost impossible to walk out with nothing in your hands. I recommend this place, and happy shopping! ?

I remember when this mall was booming! The interior is very clean, friendly staff at the stores we visited. Now, the parking lot has similarities to the Grand Canyon (lots of pot holes). The covered parking is almost completely closed up.

Today, my beautiful girllfriend and I visited your mall. After three minutes of walking we stumbled upon a curious devise. It was Japanese of origin and was pre programed to construct a myriad of cotton candy shapes. We had a beautiful blue and yellow candy delight tickling our tongues. We also enjoyed your restrooms and skittles machine. We might have a problem. Great mall!

This mall is rapidly declining with the carousel having been broken for months and the main escalator next to it having been closed down as well. This used to be a place I enjoyed taking my daughter on the weekend to get a smoothie and ride the carousel. As it continues to go downhill I don’t see that much point in going anymore.

One of the last good remaining malls on the West side of the state! Great selection of stores that you'd expect in a mall. My kids and I like this mall, 2 levels, easy to navigate, and plenty of escalators.

they changed half of the expecting mothers/mother's with small children's spot to curbside pick up. why take away from mom's? just find some regular close spots that are neither this or handicaps to do this instead of taking away from those of us pregnant ESPECIALLY with the awful heat this summer. why does a mall need curbside pick up anyways? i don't know what stores even take part in this.

I decided to check out the mall today. I wanted to walk around and maybe go in a store or two. I felt like it would be safe because of the Mandate that requires mask wearing and warns of a fine for those not wearing a mask or retail locations that allow entrance without one. There was no one at the entrance to check whether I had a mask on or verify the 50% capacity. People all over the place were wearing masks under their nose or under their chin. They say they can't enforce it. They have patrols walking around but are understaffed for that. Those patrols will just suggest that they pull the mask up. I felt very uncomfortable in that mall space. I will not go back.
