Nice selection of shops. Micheal Kors had a great selection. I also enjoyed Ralph Lauren and Columbia. I bought presents to bring back home. Very convenient location if you are traveling to Chicago. Overall I had a good experience but there are better outlets in Chicago.

Fun place to shop. Lots of stores but many are closed. The devil is in the detail folks, it’s really getting old looking and rundown, and people don’t like that. You need a new grounds crew. Dusty and dirty in too many places. Clearly hasn’t been swept yet this year and it’s nearly July! I had fun regardless.

If you are driving from east side of lake Michigan to Chicago IL, don't miss the opportunity to visit the small city called Michigan City IN. Driving towards the shore side, you will see the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlet. Scattered small shops of all brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Michael Kors and many more. Big free open parking. Location map is there, so you can easily find the brand you want. Take your time, look through the good quality brand products. Good prices. Enjoy your shopping. If you like some small food, in the middle of outlet Starbucks coffee is open. Just take something you want. When you are finished, drive to the nearby Beach. Beautiful Sandy beach on the lake Michigan. Park there and have a fresh walk on the sand or paved side. Have Fun.

Unfortunate how run down the place is. Nearly half of the stores there are closed and/or not maintained well enough. Still worth a visit if there's a store that interests you.

Lots of empty "units" I don't know if whoever owns this property is just charging to much or that the stores that were there weren't doing great. But I love coming here occasionally throughout the year as they usually have better deals going on then the mall in Mishawaka. Both this and that mall are about the same distance from my house and I would prefer to go here. But they need more stores, so I don't have to feel like I have to go to Mishawaka.

Big brands such as Nike, Puma, Express, Hollister, Kate Spade, Michael lots and many more. Great deals on long weekend. Parking is ample, very few dining options. Washrooms are horrible, seems no one ever cleans it. Should improve on this given so many people visit the mall.

Not the best outlets I’ve been to, but they have a decent selection of stores available. The buildings themselves however look quite worn down and dated. Definitely not on par with other Simon Premium Outlets I’ve been to.

Lighthouse mall has stood the test of time. It's starting to show it's age and not every location is occupied, but it's doing better than the malls. Plenty of name brands shops. Mostly clothes.

This is a nice outlet mall. I went here while I was in Michigan City and was satisfied with my experience. This mall has lots of outlet stores, most of which are good. There's an Adidas, North Face, NIKE, Calvin Klein, Columbia, Hollister, Banana Republic, Crocs, Ralph Lauren, Coach, and Tommy Hilfiger in this outlet mall. The mall is an outdoor mall, so you have to go outside when walking from store to store. The outlet mall has a lot of parking and is conveniently located in downtown Michigan City, which is nice. I gave this outlet mall five stars because it has nice stars and is conveniently located in downtown Michigan City.

Lots of brand-name clothing and shoe stores. Most pricing does not beat online outlet shopping. It's still nice to walk around on a good weather day to get some fresh air. *There are not many food options, so be sure to map out other restaurants if you want a decent place to eat after shopping.

A little old fashion town all in one with every store imaginable. Stop at Starbucks and begin to bargain shop. Amazingly easy shopping experience with happy times with wallet chiming. 100% the best. Name brand stoes galore!! Enjoy 😉

Came here to get shoes for my wife and new back to school shoes for our kids. I just came a month earlier to get myself a new pair of shoes. My son got a pair of Adidas, and my daughter got a pair of Converse All-Stars. Cost $100 for the 2 pairs, which is a good deal for nice name brand shoes. My wife also picked out a pair of Converse All-Stars. They bought theirs at Famous Footwear. I bought a pair of Jordan's from the Nike outlet for $50. Again, a good price for quality name brand shoes even if they are the previous year or seasons design. Easy to navigate the mall because of the many maps located throughout that show where you are and where the store is that you want to fins. There are a lot of good deals to be found here in all sorts of things at many different stores. My daughter who is just starting high school picked out a few nice outfits from Hot Topic for a reasonable price as well.

Outdoor Outlet mall is great if the weather is. But here in southern Michigan and northern Indiana, our summers are hot and our winters are really cold. It was 85-90 when we were there so we used the benches in the shade to rest. The choice of stores are good. Chico's and Clark's are my favorite. The chocolate store has yummy fudge. The Subway is friendly. We go here several times a year for the good deals. They have a good website that lists the stores.

This is really a cute set up of a bunch of stores lined up in a nice little walking pattern outdoors! Cute little snack huts are in the middle filling the air with sweet smells of fresh waffle cones being made an cinnamon from the churros! Super clean walking paths that are covered so even if it's raining you can stay dry! Lots of designer and name brand stores with great sales an deals! Definitely really good for family day out or just a little exercise or perfect for a first date or date night!

Not the best outlet I've been to, bit it's decent. Good brand selection, and nice layout - easy to spend some time walking around. Not a lot of great walkable food options, but there is at least a Starbucks. And a beef jerky store. Those bring us from 3 stars to 4. Stop by if you're in town, or if you live in the area. Probably not worth planning a trip around, bit again. Decent.

One of my favorite outlet malls, much better appointed than the Fashion Outlet Mall in Chicago. This outlet feels roomy, spacious, with plenty of parking, wide, comfortable outdoors space and a good selection of stores. The stores are clean, inviting and spacious ( for the most part), and the staff is polite and helpful. I warmly recommend this mall.

This review is SPECIFICALLY about the structure/grounds/exterior areas of this outlet mall. Some serious attention needs to be given to this place. There are some really great shops in this outlet mall and they deserve to be well-represented on the outside too. The outside is starting to look run-down and deteriorating. It could really use a freshening up and some overall general maintenance. From the outside it seems like nobody cares for the place.

Very peaceful. Plenty of space to roam and shop while being outdoors and very busy

  • 4/5 Derek N. 1 year ago on Google
Plenty of stores to visit with a couple unique ones. Parking was nice with plenty of room. Shops were fairly close together. We came on a weekday in the morning so it wasnt busy at all. The walkways could have been cleaner and some of the stores didnt open according to their signs. Over all a nice shopping experience. Off the rails was our favorite store.

  • 4/5 Thomas V. 1 year ago on Google
Stores with sale prices were pretty good 👍. The place is very big. It would take a couple days to find and visit all the stores. Therefore, unless you know which stores you want to go to and where they're at, plan on a couple days or you may miss some good stores.

The Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets are located in Michigan City, In. It is an in and out of the stores location with a country scenery. Beautiful. Included candy stores, snack shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. All in one big location. The distance from the outlet to my home is approximately 2 hours; however every chance I got I would take new people to visit, although I have an outlet about 10 minutes away. Taxes in Michigan city are lower, the mall had many shops & visitors from multiple states. Yesterday, I visited; I took 4 people. I was a bit embarrassed, because many shops have closed down permanently; This include the pathway food sheds, they were also closed. The shopping center looks more like a ghost town today. Revival is necessary, before people get ideas of demolition.

Went to wrangler and got 2 pairs of new jeans. I'm not very good at shopping and finding the right sizes. So the ladies were superrrr helpful. Got me decent priced GOOD jeans. Plus the red haired lady at the counter was super sweet!

Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall, with its broad selection of high-end stores and charming outdoor setting, has cemented its position as a must-visit destination for tourists in Michigan City. The appeal of great shopping combined with lower Indiana sales tax rates makes Lighthouse Place a magnet for savvy shoppers on the hunt for quality goods at competitive prices. Set in an open-air layout, the shopping center invites patrons to enjoy a leisurely stroll as they explore the array of stores. This outdoor environment is particularly delightful during the warmer months when the weather is perfect for shopping in the sunshine. However, during the cold winter months, navigating the open-air mall can be a bit of a challenge. Thankfully, there's a Starbucks conveniently located on the grounds, offering a warm reprieve and a chance to recharge with a hot beverage. One of the key advantages of Lighthouse Place is its strategic location. Nestled close to the beach and downtown, it's easily accessible for both residents and tourists. Its proximity to key attractions and walkability make it a convenient shopping destination for those living in the area, as well as visitors looking to combine shopping with sightseeing.

Went on a weekend. You can find some decent deals here but some things still seem over-priced for an Outlet Mall. No real dining options so plan ahead. Ample parking.

  • 2/5 David U. 6 months ago on Google
This outlet mall seems to have lost 1/2 to 2/3 of their stores. All kitchen stores but LeCrueset cast iron outlet. There are some clothing stores and shoe stores left. I went there for big and tall store and the skechers shoe store. The place just looked run down. On line shopping and crime has definitely hurt this outlet mall.

The layout of this mall is super confusing. Me and my fiancé walked around but kept going in circles just to get back to our car. The directory also says a lot of stores that are no longer there …. Also not many food places either. I think this mall has seen better days.

Just recently went here for the first time ever!! Very impressed by the amount of stores, lots of variety. I wouldn't say it's a place for real deals and sales, prices seemed pretty standard. It's just like a mall but has the feeling of a boardwalk. I'll definitely go back, but hard to say when.

Too many empty stores and because of being an outside mall ... it can get either too warm or too cold to walk between stores. Management need to consolidate the stores si it is more convenient to shop.

  • 3/5 Shelia J. 3 years ago on Google
It's okay if your a person that likes an outside mall. I only go there for my gym shoes. They have great price's. And my feet are small. But it's not a place I'll go to often. Their nothing like my mall where I live. Nor have the thing's we have. Lighthouse is strictly for shoes in my opinion.

I drove to the outlet mall specifically to come here and order the LaSalle sundae. The worker first told me they didn’t have it when it was visibly on their menu. Then, when I showed her where it was, she explained they didn’t have the mints. I said she could substitute. (They did have them—I checked the display). Then when I got it, it was just mint ice cream with Hershey’s syrup—not even the actual chocolate that’s supposed to be on it. No chocolates (She told me they didn’t have any. Um. You’re a chocolate shop. Literally, pick one…). In the original store, this was amazing. Here, crap—grainy ice cream and not great syrup. I’d have done better at Baskin Robbins.

The top place to shop in the area. Surrounding cities do not have shopping like the Premium outlets. It's wonderful to have shops here like this in Michigan City. The only problem is it is cold most of the time and you will be walking outside between shops. Bring your walking shoes because this place is large and filled with stores. The stores are very reasonably priced and you will always end up buying something.

  • 4/5 Phillip G. 3 years ago on Google

A lot of stores in the mall have closed down and there are limits as to how many people are allowed in certain stores at once. However, most of the stores are running deals and many of the name brand stores are still open.

Great place to shop with great deals. The down side is the limit of people inside each business due to Covid-19. Some places you wait up to 40 minutes to get in. Not good in summer or winter. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
