The hotel is very secluded and atleast 15 minutes from the main road, it is 15 minutes drive on a rocky road between the villages. It is by no standard a 5 star hotel however i would like to give the credit to the photographer for clicking such amazing pictures which can fool anyone..the resort might be good when it was built but surely not maintained, the curtains has stains all over and rooms stink. The furniture seems very old and outdated

Wanted to give 5 before spending night here... but situation changed 😬 Pros: Located away from city. Best place to relax just on bank of holy Ganga river. The sound of flowing river will make you feel relax and you will be connected to nature.. good hospitality awesome food at restaurant. Large place for kids to spend time with several indoor and outdoor games. 😊. Cons : the reason I rated less was I had sleepless night. Frequent power distribution. Tripping of room MCB , don't know what kind of overload happened only with fan 🤔 looks like some beetles 🪲 on bed. High noise of rain from roof as it is made of steel cover not of concrete.

Amatra by the Ganges is an excellent resort if you like to stay in complete serenity. The place is so quiet and calm that you can hear flowing Ganges even during daytime. The food is super yummy, the river side pool and other activities just add to its fun quotient. However the highlight has to be the extremely spacious duplex villas that accommodate the guests. To top it all, the icing on the cake is the super economical pricing that the guests pay to shake off all the monotonous lifestyle that's become synonymous with each one of us. Hats off to the entire concept including resort location, buffet options and super comfortable villas.

Stunning property! The villas and locations are brilliant; it's a bit of a task getting there but it's worth the effort. The property staff, service, housing etc are fantastic. I would suggest that either you go to be alone or have a large event. Wonderful location

A nice stay, baring the access to the resort. Riverside beach can be more developed with only sand on the beach. Lighting of the open area near ganga should be more. More seating arrangement would be nice for guests in the open area near ganga. Car cleaning should be standard and complimentary considering the access to the resort via rough roads and villages.

The rooms are decently big. The property is pretty well done. The flipside is it is too far from the Ganges, 30 minutes. It is good if you don't want to go out anywhere else. The food is good and the cuisine pallette is decent. Slightly costly though.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the Ganga and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. He made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you team Amatra by Ganges

Cottages are very good, neat and clean, Food quality is also delicious, huge big green garden for playing, everything is perfect but the approach of Amatra from highway is a big problem.

Amatra by the Ganges was an unforgettable experience for my first visit to Haridwar. The serene ambiance and stunning riverside location made my stay truly enchanting. The impeccable hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delectable cuisine exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the tranquil sounds of the Ganges was a surreal experience.

Amatra is a wonderful property by the riverside of Ganga. Sunset with Ganga Aarti is an amazing experience. The staff, especially Ms. Sarita is very supportive. She sincerely helped us with our choice of rooms considering we were travelling with our elderly parents. The staff offers great hospitality. The food is great too.

From the front office to back office, housekeeper to maintenance but the most important was the service from the restaurant. Shivangi and pankaj, Gobal Singh chef was amazing food and service beyond 5 star! Forgot the dinner staff names but over all I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel by the ganga river......

The food quality and taste was good, though it would be good to have more variety especially in breakfast. The service was prompt and staff was very responsive. The overall experience was very enjoyable. The location is perfect as it is way from the city and riverside experience is a value add. Outdoor game activities is also a great plus for families with kids.

Location is bit remote. And power cuts are very annoying 😐. Good thing is staff is very helpful and good. Always ready to help us. Food quality is good. What ever you want, they will prepare food accordingly. Ambiance is nice and kids friendly. My kid enjoy a lot there.

The staff was very incorporative. They are not willing to accommodate any extra requests. For example, you would expect to bring drivers in this remote area especially for wedding, but there were no arrangements for drivers at all.

The room itself was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The amenities provided in the room, such as a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, were convenient and enhanced my stay. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness throughout my visit.

Nestled in the lap of nature is Amatra by the Ganges. Its location is so peaceful and serene that you forget you have to get back to the hustle and bustle of city life after a few days. The service staff is extremely polite and courteous. The food and beverages team was extremely courteous and always smiling. I would really like to praise Preeti who was our server. She would always have a smile on her face. She helped us in selecting our dinner options and even beverages. All in all, this place is close to nature that you would not want to come back to the city life.

This resort is worth of your stay at and staff are very cooperative. Excellent hospitality. Inside resorts, rooms are too big, good indoor and outdoor game Activities. For child’s there is adventuring activity area. In short, don’t think only come and make your trip enjoy full.

Great property to visit with your family. Lot of fun activities available at the resort. The view and rooms were also great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They also provide food and milk for toddlers at any time. We have stayed for 4 days with family and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend.

Excellent location of the property. However, proper repairs needed, along with a much more attentive and professional staff, especially the managers. Not worth paying more than 5k per room.

This was one of the best Stay of my life.😍 So this resort is in Kangri Shyampur Haridwar. First time visitor's to haridwar can't imagine how beautiful this resort is. The stay was very astonishing. Rooms were neat and pleasent. It's very spacious. Best part it's near Riverside. So you can enjoy the view of Riverside and also the morning view which is so refreshing and soothing I would like to highly appreciate the staff, so calm, helping and each person has smile at their faces. It's really good to see smiling faces. We were roaming around in resort at night and we were all girls. We wanted to see the pool one staff member showed us and he was still there until we left the place which shows the accountability of staff towards their guests safety. Some flaws were there like 5 - 6 times there was continuous power cut which I didn't expect from place like this and dinner was a little disappointment it was average and some flies were coming constantly due to the light when we were having our dinner. But yes in morning breakfast was good better than dinner time. So if these two things can be taken care off then it would be great. Overall it was relaxing Stay.❤

The location and views of the property are the main USP. Staff is well behaved and courteous. The only thing which needs improvement is the food menu and the quality of the dishes prepared. I'm sure this could be done by the time of our next visit. Thanks

Overall it is a great resort. Rooms were good, ambience too. The location is hardly 12 mins ride for the main Haridwar market but still you leave that all hustle bustle away when you reach at this resort. Most importantly, the staff is real good. Always ready to help, no delay in room services, and make your stay easy. Overall we recommend this resort to all who are looking to spend some quality time with their family, friends and alone.

Room’s 407 and 403 were below average. There was no hot water at all in both the rooms. 407 the shower door is broken and doesn’t close smoothly. The inside of toilet wasn’t adequately cleaned and had stains. Bedsheets and pillow had stains which is a big no in hospitality industry. 407 there was no heater and no one at reception picked up around 11 after repeatedly calling. The only positive was that the staff was excellent and always eager to help. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast choices were great. Overall, I will not recommend this property only for rooms below average. Like I mentioned before, the staff and food were great.
