Big disappointment. There is not a single show in the repertoire that is aimed at an adult audience. Complete lack of information that the show is only animated show for the children.. I do not recommend

I loved this place! There are lots of interesting things to do and see, it's a great experience for kids and adults and the personal was very polite. Some activities are interactive and they are beautiful. The 3d animation is marvellous and very interesting. I suggest you all to visit this place because it's very good.

For anyone with a curiosity for the cosmos, a visit to the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzow is an absolute must. As a person deeply interested in astronomy and the universe, my visit was nothing short of breathtaking. The planetarium boasts a wealth of shows, presenting an array of subjects that span from our own solar system to the furthest reaches of the universe. Each session was meticulously curated and presented in a way that both captivated and educated. The visual effects were stunning, drawing me into a realm beyond our planet and making me feel as if I was exploring the cosmos myself. What sets the Silesian Planetarium apart is not just its vast array of sessions and its incredible visual experiences, but also its commitment to historical context. It enriches the visitor’s experience by offering insights into the history of astronomy, adding an intriguing dimension to my understanding of the universe. Equally commendable was the exemplary service. The staff was genuinely passionate about their work, always ready to assist, and more than happy to answer my countless questions. Their enthusiasm for astronomy was infectious, adding to the overall incredible experience. In summary, the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzow provides an immersive journey into the cosmos that enlightens as much as it inspires. The blend of spectacular visuals, engaging content, and enthusiastic staff makes it a place like no other. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with a passion for space exploration or just a desire to learn something new. I’ve purposely chosen not include any interior photos so that everyone can experience this wonderful place for themselves:)

Yesterday we spent a whole day with the Erasmus group (Polish, Italian and Finnish) in this amazing place. Our pupils had fun and learnt so much through interactive activities. The best part was Space Simulator and 3D animation movie in English about solar system. Our guide, Jakub, was kind and nice to explain everything about earthquakes, planets, stars and weather changes. In addition, the surrounding forest is a quiete and peaceful place wheŕe you can have a relaxing walk and pic nic on the grass! Thanks for welcoming us yesterday! Hope to come back with other students!

Grate! We have seen only one exhibition on astronomy. There is much more to see but for some attractions you need to book earlier. It is worth to visit -- digital 3D presentations are awesome!!!

Strongly recommend getting tickets online to get the time slots you want . Unfortunately space simulator tickets cannot be purchased online (for really stupid reasons) but I recommend trying get one if you attend in the morning (the session is for up to 10 people). My fav were said space sim (wish it is longer though) and planetary screening (very impressive as the planetary here is biggest and most advanced in Europe) but the astronomy/astrophysics and geology tours were cool too (both are with the guide who narrates the whole tour). There's in house cafeteria but if you look around there are 3 restaurants in the nearby park (like up to 5 mins walk) so you have a choice. Definitely worth a visit whenever you in the city.

Not easy accessible with kids or disabled people as the steps on front make it impossible to access, also staff is very unfriendly and the lady was rude when you ask for disabled people entrance to the lift, unhelpful and not supportive. Is shame than cultural institutions stuck in middle age with customer service.

Definitely, an interesting place to visit. Take care of the reservation in advance. Not the best place to go by car, maybe worth to walk a little bit from the park. "Movie" in the dome will be interesting for kids (but not so for 18+). I can recommend better participation in the exhibitions. Please read about all of the details in advance.

The movies are very interesting for children. But the place itself is very old. There is no good waiting area. The parking price is high

Visited as tourists with 2 children. While building and planetarium are recently renovated and nice looking, there were very few staff speaking English (tickets office, cafeteria- no people speaking English or Russian). I have had prebooked tours for astronomy and geophysics exhibitions by internet, but at the arrival they informed me that they are doing them only in polish 🥺 . Went to Planetarium show, part of it was in English (audio streaming to headphones) so it was ok. Planetarium on the other hand is really nice - it looks that all new equipment is working nice.
