It's
definitely
worth
visiting.
We
learned
about
the
Mieroszewski
Palace
while
visiting
the
Gothic
castle
on
Góra
Zamkowa.
After
a
not
too
long
walk
(about
half
a
kilometer),
we
reached
the
18th-century
palace
in
Gzichów.
The
palace
was
adapted
for
museum
purposes
in
1983.
The
well-preserved
and
carefully
restored
building
houses
the
following
exhibitions:
Stylish
interiors
of
the
18th
and
19th
centuries,
collections
of
weapons,
paintings
and
graphics,
as
well
as
ethnographic
and
archaeological
exhibitions.
In
our
opinion,
the
interiors
are
particularly
worth
attention.
The
eye
is
drawn
to
beautiful
polychromes,
antique
furniture,
carpets,
handicrafts
as
well
as
paintings
and
sculptures.
There
is
a
rich
collection
of
melee
weapons,
firearms
and
protective
equipment.
The
building
also
deserves
attention
from
the
outside.
The
two-story
building
was
built
of
brick,
on
a
rectangular
plan.
In
front
of
the
main
entrance
there
is
a
portico
whose
columns
support
a
balcony.
In
the
vicinity
of
the
palace
there
are
outbuildings
and
farm
buildings;
the
palace
complex
is
complemented
by
a
park.
