If I were younger, I would give another star. This is a great place for younger families. Clean, staff is friendly, food is great. This place is not user friendly for people with handicaps. The pool has a ladder with no steps. It was not easy to get out of or enter. A simple modification - a step with a handrail would be great. I talked to the owner and he said some kids got hurt so he removed the steps. The shallow end is 18" from bottom to the wall. I was told to roll over until I could get to a place that I could stand up. I am 73 years old and have bad knees and feet. So I have to humiliate myself by rolling over like a dog to be able to stand up. The indifference to a legitimate problem really surprised me because the owner is an American and should know better. There are no handicap accessible rooms.

Oh man! This place is so nice and feels like home. Is right in front of the beach, the sunsets are beautiful, it also has a mini bar with all kinds of drinks available (national beers were my favorite ones), food is pretty good (Food is made fresh every time you order, so waiting times tend to be a little long sometimes, but definitely worth it) and rooms are big, most importantly it has hot running water !Yay! I would highly recommend this place, Richard and the girls go above and beyond. I highly recommend getting a cold coconut.

What a great experience. The owner was on site and he was very polite and helpful. The rooms are fun and the food was OUTSTANDING! I ordered ajio shrimps and the size and the taste was quality All pictures on my review are from the property and the beach side is in the beach. Stayed for 1 day but I wished it was a week. Will go back when possible

Out in the middle of NO WHERE. The on-site restaurant and bar were HIGHLY EXPENSIVE. No one else on the property except me and the staff. Highly disappointed considering the price of the room. I was directly next to the bar which had LOUD music playing till late at night, with NO ONE else there.

It stared out rough, but turned out quite nice. My wife and I really enjoyed the place. Richard and his helpers were rrally nice to us. We were there during the slow time and had the beach almost completely to ourselves. My wife was not ready to leave, but we will stay there again. Thanks Richard and give our blessings to our cook.

You will not find a more welcoming place to stay in Honduras! La Delphina goes the extra mile to meet all of your needs. It is a fantastic place to stay on the beach in Honduras. Rooms are clean. Service is excellent. Food always exceeds our expectations! Thanks, Richard...We will definitely be back next year!

Fun place clean and good service pool and beach

La Delphina is a very nice and cozy place. It was six of us who only stayed there one night because we were on our way to Roatan, but we all agreed to have had a good night sleep. The service was excellent. Friendly staff, good food and welcoming environment. I give it to Richard, he is truly an wonderful and warm host. This place is excellent for a getaway. Very relaxing and peaceful, and reasonable. Strongly recommend it to couples.

Amazing and relaxed place to stay. You can walk out to the beach and has everything you need here. Great customer service
