(Translated by Google) Fleeing from Pisa, on the way to San Giminiano, among a green and sunny Tuscan landscape, a trattoria appears at the foot of the road. There are no tourists inside, there are Italians eating alone... a good sign! Homemade and traditional food. The father serves, the daughter cooks. Excellent place, with traditional but simple dishes. Without a menu, the man tells you what he has, but it's all very, very rich and homemade.

I normally don't comment publicly, but the experience at the Trattoria Da Cinotto was one of the best had in a while! After a warm welcome by the owner you can find a nice place outside or in the Restaurant. If you sit inside, you have a very good view into the kitchen. And you see how well the food is prepared. So now to the most important part: the food is excellent - from the starters to the desert! You can taste all the natural ingredients and there are no additives or artificial flavor used. It's the kind of food, that really deserves the name of a good meal because you can taste every aspect of it and enjoy. From the food to the service everything is high standard but without the snobbishness. It feels like the place around your corner, where you come to relax. And don't worry if you are from a foreign country. The owner is a language expert, who can tell you the menu in nearly any european language and is nice to chat with. And the cook is a lovely woman who came out of the kitchen to greet the guests. So all in all: a great evening - grazie mille!

The best meal I've had in Italy thus far with the best service in all of my travels to Europe. The owner speaks many languages (English, Italian, German from what I witnessed) and has an ever changing menu depending on the season. He was very accommodating for our 5 month old baby, and made solid recommendations for places to visit while in the area. We plan on going back before leaving Tuscany because it was so good. You owe it to yourself to visit this wonderful gem in Italy. EDIT: Returned for a second time before leaving, and was still blown away by the service. The owner made us feel like family, and was especially friendly in helping us with our 6 month old baby that was trekking Europe with us. I have no idea why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars (notice they didn't even leave a comment). Trust me when I say that you owe it to yourself to eat here, or go out of your way if staying in Chianti/Tuscany wine area to visit this restaurant. It is probably one of the most memorable experiences of my 2 week trip to Italy with family.

Lovely local restaurant with really excellent food. The owner speaks english and french and german. Show up there at around 20:00-20:15 and you'll have an excellent meal. Take note that they're closed for dinner on Fri,Sat,Sun ( I could not find that info on their website). We'll go there a second time for sure during our one week stay!

Small restaurant, family run, at 20 km from Pisa. Excellent regional food and wine from Tuscany, at a very reasonable price.

Went there with the whole family and with my 86 year old grandma. We had so much fun with the owner... "Your food is sooo tasty..." - "I know!" It really was! Great food, wonderful hospitality.
