What a beautiful hotel. I had a very enjoyable stay here. I was pleasantly surprised after checking into the room. The staff had left a bottle of champagne and some pastries for us. The room was perfect and the view of the Eiffel Tower was impressive. It was a good size, clean, very beautiful, well-appointed and very comfortable. Aside from the Bulgari toiletries in the bathroom, there was a view of the tower from the bathtub. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk to cafes and the metro station. It's also only a fifteen minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. There is a Michelin-starred restaurant on the premises (Shang Palace). The hotel pool is indoor, heated, big and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the bell service, the front desk, housekeeping and the concierge, who gave us amazing restaurant recommendations. Everything about my stay was perfect.

Zero stars. Book the finest suite in this hotel and expect housekeeping to rob your personal belongings with the hotel to say there is nothing they can do about it. As for talent acquisition - excellent in hiring robbers instead of trustworthy housekeeping agents.

This hotel is incredible and definitely worth the visit if your budget permits. The staff goes above and beyond and they treat you like royalty. They are prompt and eager to please! I was given a complimentary upgrade at check in from a Eiffel view room to a duplex with Eiffel view + terrace. This upgrade was completely unexpected but much appreciated. The location can't be beat, this has to be the hotel with the best view of the Eiffel tower in all of Paris. The room was large and grand, the small details were appreciated. They had a selection of sweets ready for me upon my arrival (macaroons, berries, chocolates, fruit, etc.) and a bottle of champagne. The floors in the bathroom are heated, they have a heated towel rack, a TV in the washroom, 2 giant TV's (one in the room and one upstairs). The terrace has a shade that you control with a remote, the lighting is great, they have turn down service, you can order pretty much anything from their website (pillows, robes, room service, ice, etc.) I could go on! Check out was smooth and they offer to store your luggage for the rest of the day if you plan on exploring the city. I will say that the duplex room can be a little troubling if you have a lot of luggage. Their are about 13 steps you take to get from the upstairs the the main floor where the bathroom and bed room is, you'll have to carry your suitcase down however I will mention that they have an option to call for baggage assistance which I assume means someone will come help you bring it up and down. If you plan on ordering breakfast you'll also have to bring the items down one by one as the entire room service cart can't go down the steps. I will definitely be returning to Shangri La Paris next time I'm in Paris. Once you stay here and truly experience that view, it will be almost impossible to stay anywhere else.

Amazing!! If you are looking for THE BEST service in Paris- this IS IT. Gianni at Concierge went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. His recommendations, and love he put into helping others is like no other. We travel the world and the service is more than above and beyond! They truly have every inch of it down.

Truly one of the most luxurious, thoughtful experiences I've had. My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and it truly felt like paradise. The staff goes above and beyond at every turn. The amenities are the finest!!! The best part is that you still feel comfortable and at home even though you are in a literal palace. Make sure to order the incredible in room breakfast and try ALL the restaurants. The food is some of the best in Paris. I had the best prenatal massage of my life. Make sure to take full advantage of the spa. Perfect after a long day of exploring Paris. The location is superb. Easy to walk or uber to everything you need to see. Please do yourself a favor and splurge on this amazing place. You won't regret it.

Breathtaking views, exquisite interior and a keen staff with the will of making your stay as magical and smooth as possible. Each hotel corner exudes art. loved loved LOVED this hotel! Beautifully designed, super clean, spacious, luxurious, and the service and attitude of reception, concierge, the doormen and the housekeeping are all brilliant. The location is quiet but also close to almost everything, my suite was large and always spotless after every visit from housekeeping, the breakfast room service was so delicious, and the beds are incredibly comfortable! I truly felt like a queen here! The Shangri-La Paris is definitely a 10/10 and I'll definitely stay here again!

We went to eat to the bar late afternoon. The ambiance were great. The service was good, but we had to get up to ask the server to something. We order a cheeseburger and a Cesar salad. The cheeseburger was good, however unfortunately there was a fruit fly in the salad. The server replaced the salad promptly but the item was not comped from the bill. At 42€ per cheeseburger You expect things to be not only irreproachable but also surprising (and not with a fly in the salad)

100/10!!!!!😍😍😍 What an incredible experience. Omg! Highly recommend!!! I stayed at the Eiffel duplex terrace suite and it was off the charts!!!! You can basically touch the Eiffel tower and the room was so gorgeous and big! The hotel itself is STUNNING. Everyone was so beyond accommodating and very nice. I can’t wait to return. From the moment we pulled up to the valet to the time with left nothing but amazing service. They knew our names upon leaving the car and escorted us to check in comfortable chairs. We enjoyed a quick lunch in the lounge then went up to our spacious room with a balcony. The first floor bar with its botanical cocktails has a wonderful calming atmosphere and great drinks. We enjoyed a short walk around the corner to spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We stayed for 8 nights and Shangri-la Paris felt like home. Our flight arrived early in the morning so understandably the room we booked wasn’t ready yet. However, the front desk was able to put us in a different room for the time being until our room became available which meant we were able to nap and refreshed after a long flight and didn’t have to wait around. That is hospitality on a whole new level which we appreciated very much especially since the gesture was done of their own accord. The view of the Eiffel Tower from our private terrace was absolutely stunning and no other hotels in the city can even come close to that! The room had comfortable bed/pillows, A/C that actually cools off to low temp, heated bathroom floors and good quality toilet papers, nice water pressure, and yummy welcome treats. The whole staff was very courteous, helpful, and accommodating including their concierge team. Lastly, the VIP transport they offer on both arrival and departure to help you maneuver the airport was a game changer; we cut through so many lines in custom and security that it honestly didn’t even feel like we went through an international airport! We will definitely be back to this Shangri-La hotel in Paris and bec of this positive experience, we will also start using this brand when available in other international countries.

Wonderful experience, the room was huge and very quiet. It had a view of the Eiffel from the bathroom. The breakfast is very delicious and staffs were pleasant and welcoming. The only drawback is that the bedsheet is pretty noisy, it can cause some disturbance to me when my husband turns in his bed.

Fantastic location with great views on Tour Eiffel (and the half of Paris next to it). Exquisite interiors. Great restaurants (Monsieur Bleu for example) of the Tokyo pavillion in 100 m from the hotel. All the rest has some small peculiarities. After discussing an hour of the cleaning with the manager, the next day we did not have the cleaning at all until I called. (No, we did not have any sign left on the door like your manager imagined later). When we asked a concierge to book a taxi to Louvre, he did, but didn’t say Louvre is closed on Tuesdays. Big thank you shoutout to concierge after this nice trip, with an advice to learn well the working hours of the museum number 1 in Paris. Another time we asked the concierge to advise us a good restaurant where we would walk for 20 minutes (to enjoy Paris), and we were told to go to a bistro just behind the corner. That’s funny, I mean no problem for us to use Google maps, but why not just give a proper answer. Hammams are totally useless, why won’t you build a good sauna instead. Where a wife can talk to her husband, instead of separated sitting in those ‘hammam’ corners that feel like wardrobes. (Look how well the area is done at Le Damantin Paris to compare). To get to hammam and pool you need to dress up to go past the lobby. It’s impossible to get there dressed for swimming, no. So “spa” does not have a relaxing mode. It’s not relaxing to dress up to jump into a bath in your room after swimming. By the way there’s no bag for spa visits in the room to bring back your wet swimming suit, you’ll have to go past the lobby having your wet bikini in your hand. When you get out from the warm hammam, you’re right in the cold wind from the air condition. Another relaxing experience. You can’t jump out of it, you have to open the doors of the box with your clothes. With the code. Don’t forget it, or you’ll freeze right there, wet and relaxed forever. (I got a running nose the next day.) Breakfast (rather mediocre) cost €124 for two. I mean, its okay if you have breakfast like in Waldorf Astoria Versailles, but then you need to pump the skills of your chef + have a bit more of an atmosphere. By the way I would recommend to know the provider of viennoiserie in Astoria, they have the best ever pains au raisin (which you said you did not have at all, although they were on the neighbour table… it was pain to see that pain au raisin… the next day though it turned out that it was horrible anyways so okay don’t miss it much). The in room dining is okay, although I would not say it’s worth ordering unless you’re in between the hours of eating in Monsieur Bleu. By moving from the petit dej to the room and then to spa you’ll be eventually falling out of wifi, you will have to change it manually. This becomes crucial when you realize there’s bad coverage due to thick walls. Overall, I found the hotel too pretentious for this kind of things. The staff is dancing around always excessively polite and ready to help, but the end feeling is like “why?” - shouldn’t they just also be more human to match the careless level of the rest of the hotel. Nevetheless it was fun, and we’re here for fun, aren’t we.

I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Paris and it was an incredible experience. The hotel is stunning with beautiful architecture and elegant decor. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The Michelin-starred restaurant, L'Abeille, offers delicious food and impeccable service. The hotel's location is convenient for exploring Paris and the staff provides exceptional service. Overall, it was an extraordinary stay and I highly recommend the Shangri-La Paris for a memorable experience in the City of Lights.

Truly a 5 star hotel. Check in staff are well trained in hospitality. However , breakfast area is under renovation, and breakfast staff could be better trained. Selection of breakfast is rather small and old school. Should be updated. Also if breakfast staff speaks with a lot of saliva splashing onto the table, masks could be worn.

My fiancé and I were here following our engagement in Loire. I notified the hotel, and they had a wonderful welcome gift with deserts and champagne which we enjoyed on our balcony. Very attentive and appreciated! The check in and concierge staff were awesome as well.

We recently had our wedding at the Shangri-La and wanted to say just how impressive the team really was. The room was amazing as you would expect. They helped us by recommending some local vendors, photographer, celebrant, and a vintage Rolls Royce. The events manager was a huge help, and we cannot express our gratitude enough.

Absolutely impeccable service. We requested a pastry we had as a welcome gift on the first night of our stay and the pastry chef made it special for us and packed it for us to take on our way to the airport. Food was good, hotel is beautiful. Rooms were nice with excellent internet, AC, all the comforts. Spa services were also excellent. Gym is a touch small but that’s to be expected in a classic hotel. We will be back!

I absolutely adored my stay at this hotel! The design was exquisite, the cleanliness impeccable, the rooms spacious and luxurious, and the staff's service and attitude were exceptional. From the reception to the concierge, doormen, and housekeeping, everyone was outstanding. The hotel's location was serene yet conveniently close to everything I needed. My suite was not only large but also flawlessly maintained by the housekeeping team. The breakfast room service was a delightful culinary experience, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. I genuinely felt like royalty during my stay! The Shangri-La Paris is unquestionably a perfect 10/10, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!

Walking into this hotel is a five star experience. The setting is absolutely palatial. Every corner is aesthetically pleasing. The pool, location and most of the staff are incredible as in every Shangri-la we’ve stayed in as a family. We took a stunning junior suite for my husband and myself and a double room which adjoined through a living room and small hallway. The Shang Restaurant is closed till September but the loss of one star is because they failed to tell us about their most exquisite feature - not the spa and pool but the roof terrace with the amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. The night prior to leaving my sister who lives in Paris and I wanted to have a drink in the lounges (people had been drinking in it all day) - I asked for a bottle of champagne there and they said lounges are closed till September ( yet the same left over glasses and tea set sat there all hours after the guests had finished using them). So I went to the restaurant ( where the concierge advised me we should take our drink) but having had breakfast three days and a dinner why on earth would I want to go there again). Annoyed but not visibly so I went with my sister to the restaurant where a lovely young woman of colour arranged drinks for us on the terrace - which is a amazing even if a temporary feature of the hotel). It was too late to involve my kids and partner so four nights there and they would not get to see it. Explaining this in the morning so they could just get a peep of the balcony - I was told it would be closed till 4pm but we were leaving for our next stop so that never happened. Sorry but am I missing something but my guess is that we as a family spend more than some of the couples where one is half is full of filler and parading like a Christmas tree but we are made to feel apologetic for rather simple requests. Also they didn’t even know Les Climats - a Michelin star restaurant - definitely worth a visit if you love a Burgundy like me - now that was 5 stars.

The staff were incredible. The hotel is beautiful, clean and historical. However for the price I expected an experiential hotel. At the end of the day I realized. It's really just a room. Nothing to write home about. It's a nice room. It's spacious. But there is nothing to justify the thousands of dollars spent. There are other hotels in the world in the same price range and much less that really give the WOW impression. They are places I really would look forward to going back to. However unfortunately nothing is drawing me back to ever stay here again unless the price was cut in half. I'm not a bargain hunter and have stayed in all the top hotels around the world. In fact the Shangri La Paris is an amazing comfortable and welcoming place. But the price made me feel gouged. $2000 for a hotel room and then they still charge $10 for a red bull. Maybe those tiny little touches like a free mini bar or welcome drink at the bar or bottle of champagne can help make up for the high cost. Just a suggestion!

It doesn’t get any better than the Shangri-La Paris. Staying here feels like a dream. The pure luxury of every detail in the building, the view, and above all, the service. The entire staff of the Shangri-La embodies a golden standard. The concierge team can make nearly anything happen for you, the room service is perfect to every detail and very efficient and responsive, the food service is fast, and guest services/reception is always eager to help with anything you need. You pay for what you get and in my opinion, the Shangri-La Paris is absolutely worth it. It will certainly be our future home in Paris. Also, we hosted our wedding here and there are no words to describe how perfect it was. The rooms are pristine, elegant, grand, gorgeous, and authentically Parisian. The events team goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of and executed to an incredible standard. We will miss Romy so much but know that the Shangri-La Paris will always uphold their excellence no matter who is there. Again, the service before, during, and after our wedding was above and beyond perfection and we are so appreciative for the Shangri-La Paris making our event and stay the absolute best it could have possibly been
