Stopped in here for dinner while on a business trip and had a great time. The bartender was super friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in. The place had a great ambience and vibe to it. I ordered the Cali Burger ( well done) and have to say it was one of the best burgers I have ever had! Everything on the menu looked delicious! Highly recommend this spot if ever in the Quincy area!

Damn good BBQ! We were in Quincy for a TKD tournament and after the event went to Riverside. The food was so good. There were a variety is sauces and the sides were all very good! The staff were cool and a good time was had by all! If we're in town again. We'll be back!

Ordered pick up while I was in town for work. Food was good and service was quick. Pork was good, chicken was alright. I think they also offer daily special pricing as well. Tips: download their app and you will get %20 off first order.

Went for lunch at 11am and was greeted by friendly employees. Our server Madison was outstanding. The BBQ Meats were juicy and had just enough smoke but not overpowering. We got pulled pork, brisket & sausage. The sausage was very good. The cooked cinnamon apples were perfect, not overly sweet, and still had a good bite, not too mushy. The Pigtails (curly fries, cheese sauce & pulled pork) were excellent. The potato salad was fresh, and the corn muffins were moist and flavorful.

Visiting in Quincy. Someone recommended this place and it's in the parking lot of the hotel where I'm staying. I'm not a big fan of BBQ but after a long day I decided to order to go and take it to my room. I found a pork tenderloin sandwich on the menu. It didn't have BBQ sauce, which was good. I thought $10.99 was a little pricey but I was tired and hungry. Well, it is well worth the cost. It was big enough to feed 2 people. I was very pleased with food.

The service was friendly and fast. The brisket was good but the ribs were not tender at all. The cornbread was fantastic and they have a nice selection of sauces. The service was so good that I’m not even that disappointed with the ribs. Maybe it was just an off day. I’d recommend checking the place out if you’re in the area.

1st visit- AMAZING food & service. Our waitress was super friendly with great conversation and our drinks never went empty. Emily's Trio and a burger topped with brisket & mac n cheese DELICIOUS! Great music playing in the background. Rustic, spaceous, and super clean. Excellent staff and customer service all around! We'll definitely be going back! 2nd visit- Wasn't as exciting as our 1st trip. My brisket & ribs were dry. My husband is a tenderloin addict and his tenderloin wasn't up to par. Missing cheese, kinda tough. No silverware or papertowels on our table we had to keep asking other waitresses for service, however our waitress was super nice when she wasnt running around for everything else. I did get great service when we asked for a table next to an outlet for my portable oxygen tank that was about to die. Excellent service on that. Restrooms were clean.

Excellent BBQ! I ate dinner here twice while visiting Quincy on business. The first time I had the brisket and the second time I had the sampler platter. The food was great and I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a plenty of good food options on the menu. Their cornbread is really yummy. The pulled pork has excellent flavor and is very moist, not dry at all. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Fast service.

03 November 2023 I was there with my father's side of our family. We are here for a family get together from Alabama. There were mixed opinions about the restaurant. Because I could not smell a smoking grill in the parking lot, I did not trust any barbecue items. I ordered the mushroom jack 8 ounce burger. I asked for it to be cooked a little pink in the center..... I would say it was the best burger I have ever eaten. I was impressed, it was very hot picking up the sandwich. I could swear the hamburger patty was formed by hand. It was perfectly cooked. 97%of the time in any restaurant when I order a hamburger cooked medium, it comes to me well done. Unfortunately I had the opinion they used canned mushrooms, which are tasteless. If they would have sautéed fresh mushrooms in some butter, minced garlic and olive oil, the burger would have been phenomenal. Their 8 ounce rib eye steak was not good at all. My brother in law and brother could not eat their rib eye steak. It is difficult to grill a 1/4 inch thick steak without drying it out. My brother in law asked me to eat his steak because it was cooked too rare for him. I tried to eat it, but it was incredibly dry and I disposed of it. It will be up to your own personal opinion on what you think about the food. The restaurant was very busy, so a lot of people must really enjoy it. They were so busy, service was not as good as it could have been. I was extremely pleased with the hamburger. If someone at the restaurant reads this, please consider the mushroom suggestion. I cannot think of anything canned mushrooms are good for. I am not a chef, but I know what I am eating. My uncle said the corn bread was very good. If you cook the mushrooms in some kind of way I am suggesting, I feel the people of Quincy will notice and word of mouth will spread like wildfire. I could not taste the jack cheese.

So let me start by saying WOW! Service was warm an welcoming. Food didn't disappoint either. Salad bar was nice an had more than just salad so be careful an save room for your main. Only complaint floor was sticky an the questionable short placed mirror in the restroom!

I had the BBQ brisket nachos for lunch. Nachos were ok but could use more cheese and the brisket was a little too salty for my taste. The table was a little messy from a previous customer but the service was excellent and the atmosphere was good.

Very nice restaurant! A very good surprise! The staff is really nice and the food is very copious. The prices are very affordable for what we eat ($15-$20). The burgers are copious and very good, and the dishes to share (Ribs, chicken, fries, coleslaw, corn...) are also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

My girlfriend and I love BBQ and are always on the lookout for a new spot to try. We were in the area so we searched for BBQ Restaurants and Riverside BBQ & Grill popped up with decent reviews. We called ahead to check on seating and they told us to come on in as there was no wait at the moment. The moment we arrived in the door the greeter informed us that they just received a rather large party and that they will not be able to seat us. I informed the greeter that we called only 3 to 4 minutes ago and were welcomed to come on in. She needed to get the manager's approval before letting us sit. If I knew then what I know now I would've never even bothered showing up. On the outside it was appealing, but on the inside was a completely different story. It was all run down and maybe it was meant to look that way. It was more of a bar than it was a restaurant in my eyes. The service was adequate and the portion sizes were small for the prices they were charging. I will give them props on the potato salad and beans. I liked the sausage too, but it would have been better with an adult sized portion. The brisket consisted of 2 dry cubes of meat and ribs was mostly bone. This was not my idea of a decent BBQ restaurant and we will not be returning or recommending.

So the good, they have awesome chicken wings and homemade lemonade; along with great service and specials every day of the week. The sauces were also nice, that was not lost on the choice of which you prefer. They range from a Memphis sweet (Brown sugar/molasses), to a tangy Kansas City (vinegar, molasses, and black pepper), to Carolina Gold (vinegar based) to the Texas Spicy which has some cayenne/white pepper) in it. (not much but it sneaks up on you.) We ordered the Kristen's Sampler (appetizer) and the Trio Sampler with brisket, ribs, and bbq chicken and baked beans with baked Mac and cheese. All healthy sized portions on most of the food, always a plus. Now, we were a bit underwhelmed by the rub on the meats, and the baked beans had trimmings in so that was like the meat. The baked Mac and cheese was topped with trimmings and it tasted likemeat and it tasted like a powdered cheese, the noodles were losing their shapes. We did eat the majority of the food, seeing if it was just our pallets. Which isn't the case. We probably won't return, but it is what it is.

The waitress was amazing, and the food was the best (I had a cowboy burger)! I know the photo doesn't look appetizing, but my camera just makes everything look bad.

Kaitlyn was a great little waitress. She was prompt and very attentive. Hubby had Emily’s combo and the Brisket is to die for! I had the 8pm ribeye and it was good. Who orders a ribeye in BBQ joint? It was tender and well seasoned. Sides where we’ll portioned

This is my $18 Brisket Platter, minus the Texas toast. The corn & greens were delicious, the brisket was ok. My husband asked for a medium 16 oz ribeye but received blue rare instead. The waitress apologized and took it for further cooking, 16 minutes later it returned, slightly warmer, but not cooked anymore. We sent it back and 14 minutes later, it returned dry. Our waitress apologized and discounted approximately 1/3 of the cost of his ribeye. Not terrible, but not what the experience we were looking for.

Amazing restaurant. The food is great, waiters and employees are friendly and professional, everything you need in such a place. The barbecue meat is perfectly cooked and everything is good. I recommend if you like barbecues.

Great local BBQ. VERY good service and the lunch brisket platter was great. Highly recommend the sweet BBQ sauce. Killer corn muffin, too!
