Motel 6 is no longer at this location. Very disappointed that it has not been updated. This new place is terrible, it smells and is dirty. The hallways are super long and not well lit. The room had an echo which allowed you to hear everything surrounding the room, this includes people walking down the hall on the phone, (I also heard a domestic disturbance upstairs). The woman at the front desk did not inform me where the room was, i had to find it myself. I asked for new sheets twice and it took over 2 hours. The towels in the bathroom were also visibly dirty. I held them up to the light to check. I wish i took a picture of them because it was just disgusting. Would not recommend at all not worth the price. I wouldn't even recommend this place as a desperate last resort.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I was from out of town and only there for one night. My son is going to a college not 15 min from this location. I should have not staid but I had all ready paid. The halls were decrepit and falling apart. The one time I used the elevator I feared I would not make it, The floors were sticky and no ac in elevator, the stair wells were dirty and chips in the walls, the rooms was horrible. The curtains were tattered and moth-eaten. The ac was missing pieces and paint chipping off the wall. The bath room had a piece of paper holding the light on, no shower drain and hole in the wall. There was light around the door so you did not feel securiKlkllK Not to mention at 2 in the morning I started to receive harassing phone calls from some one claiming to be at the front desk asking me to share my room because they were booked. Once I disconnected the call the phone kept ringing. People started to knock on doors and iKl disconnected the phone in fear of my safety as I was a single women for out of state. I did not leave the room that night but waited till day light. I sent screen shots of my location to family just in case so they knew my last location. I asked the front desk about it and he said no one could call your room with out going through me. Well they did and at this point I just wanted to be gone and done with this. I would never never ever recommend this hotel to any one

I wish I could say something nice about this place, but the stay is completely terrible, when we arrived at the hotel, even though I asked for a non smoking room, the room smelled like an astray, then on the bed it had balls of hairs all over the bed. We asked housekeeping if they can change the sheets and they said, they don't changed the sheets unless we are staying there for a week. Note that we only arrived in the room, we haven't even spend a night there, so whoever stayed before us, that's the sheets we were using. Omg, it was completely disgusting. I would not recommend this place at all.

DON'T STAY HERE!!! It was unbelievable, like nothing you could ever imagine! Lobby looks normal, but then when you get to the hallway it gets bad and then the rooms are worse! No exaggeration, this place hasn't been cleaned EVER! I didn't even want to walk on the ground let alone sleep in the bed. Everything from the floor to the walls, ceiling, bed, bathtub, mirrors, you name it, it had some sort of dirt a and who knows what else on it. Even if I didn't get my refund I still wouldn't have stayed. I would sleep in the car before I stayed here!

I arrived an hour after check in time and they were unsure if my room was ready and spent time calling someone without communicating with me what was going on. The room was clean, but bare minimum clean. The tub had someone else's hair in it and the whole plug was pulled out. The towel had hair on them too. The plug socket in the bathroom did not work. The air conditioner shut off every 5 minutes before reaching desired temperature and the plug socket for that had black all around it and up the wall, as though it had been burning. The room was dark and dingy and one of the lamps did not turn on. Thankfully, the bed seemed clean, that was the only good thing. There was what sounded like a very loud karaoke party going on in a room around me, heck it could have even been in the bar attached to the lobby. This went on well past midnight. I didn't leave my room to complain because reading other reviews, it looks as though most staff does not care to resolve any problems.

This is one of the most disgusting places I've ever stayed at. They have holes in the wall, ceiling is leaking, sink in the bathroom doesn't work and is being held up by a table leg, and on top of that they have need bugs and lots of them. I was moved to three different rooms within the first hour if being there and after my 17 hour road trip from north Dakota I would have thought for the $70 I paid the room would be some what decent but I was sadly mistaken. It's trash in all the hallways a strong smell of weed when you walk through the doors no clean towels and once again bed bugs and they had the nerve to refuse my money back and offer me another room like I would stay after the bed bugs. I called the police they did nothing of course but once they arrived the guy at the front desk changed his mind and have me my money back. Please don't take your family there you are liable to catch something being there.

This motel 6 was not at all like the other motel 6 hotels I have ever stayed in. I had a horrible experience. The workers were rude, the place was filthy and had a bad smell. There was dog hair and human hair on my first room bed and frame so I requested a new clean room only to get another room that appeared to have a made bed but not clean sheets or towels. Worst motel I have ever been to and not what I am use to by this chain. I like motel 6 and they are usually very tidy and good service but this particular location is horrific. I will not be returning here.

The motel overall needs a lot of work. Our room needed to be changed because the shower wasn't working properly. The tub was dirty, the sink, the floors, the toilet. It seems they don't really scrub down the dirt. It seems some parts of the motel are being remodel. I can understand for the price.. it wasn't going to be perfect but cleanliness is hygenic and needs to be done.

The room was clean but the bathroom had mold in the ceiling. The shower was filthy. I really didn't want to even take a shower. When I did it had to be very quick. No comfort at all. Other motel 6's were fine but this one needs a little touch up. Maybe there's a lack of concern in the management there. Glad to know you care about my opinion. I would appreciate a token of appreciation to compensate for this negligence. I have paid for over $1000 on hotels this year with my name or my girlfriend's. Thanks

The woman working the front desk was lovely. The first room I got stunk of cigarette smoke, so I asked for another. It was more expensive and also smelled bad, but not as bad. The floor was dirty and sticky, something had been spilled and not mopped up. The people down the hall partied all night and slammed doors all night.

My experience was NOT great by far. To start I ordered a king size bed online before arriving. Got there and there wasn't any left. Associate then gave me two twin beds. Said it was same price. (Which I don't believe) Then when I get to the room the floors was SO NASTY. Carpet was terrible. Pubic hairs all over sink counter tops. And still in tubs, toilets. So it showed that this room WASNT CLEANED properly. And there was only one team member who claimed she couldn't clean and do her job. But when I went to the lobby later on she was sitting down with guest having a ball. But your to bizzy to satisfy customers.

The room was disgusting. There were cockroaches. The television was broke. The temperature in the mini fridge was broke. No shampoo. Towels missing. It smelled horrible. There was a smell of marijuana throughout the building. The only thing I can say good about my stay, is that the housekeeping staff were very nice. I was there for an entire week. I had to switch hotels for my final 2 weeks, because I felt very dirty. Horrible place to stay. Honestly, want my money back.

First of all, I know what to expect with a Motel 6. I have stayed at them all over the country for years. This one is an old Econolodge from the 60s that has at least 100 rooms. The room was worn and old but it was clean, the mattress was firm and the sheets were fresh. The bathroom was beat, but it was as clean as you could get it and everything worked(sink got clogged one morning, they fixed it promptly). New TV worked fine with plenty of channels. The staff was help full and friendly and tried to accommodate us in all ways. The problem was the clientele. It appeared to me they rent out rooms by the week or month and people live there. There was trash in the halls and outside that I'm sure the staff could not keep up with. I didn't really feel safe unless I was in my room but I guess that just goes with the territory. For 68 bucks a night it is about what you expect for a night in Chicagoland.
