Wow... we are totally impressed. It was a coincidence, that we found this small cozy restaurant today. I ordered the argentinian entrecote and my man the ribs. We were not disappointed. It was so damn delicious and the service was a really nice and funny woman. We absolutely can recommend this restaurant. Don´t miss it!

Best cuisine in Tenerife. Situated in a friendly narrow street in the center of Puerto de la Cruz We were lucky to get the table without reservation, however strongly recommending to reserve in advance. Every meal we had, ( starter, main dish, dessert) were absolutely fantastic and if it wouldn't be closed on Sunday and Monday, we would definitely reserve again. The friendly and family-like approach from the staff was a great addition to the overall atmosphere. Be aware that it is possible to pay only in cash.

The best place in the whole city ❤️ We've been living here for 10 days and tried quite a lot of food, but this place is just perfect! Let me tell you why: Food - It was super delicious, everything is fresh, and it's ready in 10/15 minutes. They offer a great mix of salty, sweet, and spicy flavors. Service - Upon entrance, we were warmly welcomed by the owner of the restaurant (we think it was him hihi), and we had a really nice conversation. He even recommended something special for us. Atmosphere - The restaurant is located on a narrow street adorned with beautiful green flowers. We paid - 42 euros (2 euros for water with lemon and mint, 40 euros for a deck with tapas). Be careful! You cannot use your phones; the owner will pay attention to this. Instead, enjoy your time there and engage in conversation with each other 🙌🏼 If you're reading this, please do try their food. We highly recommend it! ❤️

Absolutely stunning food! Lots of Canary Islands dishes with gastronomic twists, and plenty of vegetarian options. Make a reservation since this place is popular :)

Only cash payment is the only down side of this lovely restaurant. Delicious food and nice choice of tapas. Average prices for Tenerife. Friendly owner. Nice location. Very good mussels. They do serve nice looking steak which we did not try this time. Worth a visit

Food was absolutely amazing! Their salad was enormous and full of fresh veg and greeny leaves. I had the beef steak 🥩 which was cooked to perfection! My partner had pork medallions and she enjoyed them too. Only slight negative is that the place js cash only so be prepared.

We visited in june 2021 several times, but even now regularly we remember the fantastic food and the great service, we couldnt remember the name of the lively lady that served us everytime, but we definately remember the way she welcomed us and made us feel like family. She always had a smile, a nice word and called me ' mi cielo' ❤️, always very attentive to our every needs. The restaurant is hidden in a green street, you definately need a reservation to ensure a seat, however we were lucky a couple of times to get a table without. Cash only, although theres an atm close by. Every meal we ordered was more than extraordinary, best sangria in town by far, sometimes we didnt have room for desserts, because we wanted to try out as many dishes as possible and never disappointed.A very nice touch - on the tables you have a pot with fresh basil or mint, that in the wind of the evening gives out a very pleasant smell. We kept recommending the place to any friends that visited Puerto, it is a place we would gladly come back. Wish i could give more stars ✨️✨️✨️

After 3 visits to this restaurant, I can say that it is the best place we have found in Tenerife. The food is fresh, very tasty and unusual. Interesting forms of serving and surprising flavors. We ate many dishes and were pleased with all of them. The waitress was very nice, we felt taken care of and welcomed every time there. I totally recommend this place.

Nice restaurant with interesting dishes. We really liked garlic prawns, Andalusian style squid and stuffed Piquilo. Norwegian salmon had bit too strong marinade and/or souce thus our 6 y.o. boy didn't like it. But this wasn't a big problem since there were other members of the family who finished the salmon. Btw, service was good and we appreciate extra mile the waiter did for our boy.

A Gem of Authenticity and Warmth My recent visit to this restaurant was an extraordinary experience. The establishment, with around 10 tables, is adeptly managed by an incredibly efficient and warm team of just two people. This remarkable setup not only offered a uniquely personal dining experience but also a deep appreciation for the authentic cuisine and philosophy of the proprietors. Despite the challenge of a larger space for such a small team, the wait times were impressively short. This showcased the team's exceptional professionalism and efficiency. The service was quick, yet the atmosphere maintained a relaxed and friendly charm, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food exemplified the authenticity and simplicity of the local cuisine, yet with some delightful surprises. The stuffed peppers, in particular, were a standout, offering a perfect blend of flavor and presentation. The pricing was more than reasonable, making this restaurant a must-visit destination for anyone in search of an authentic, heartwarming, and affordable culinary experience. It’s a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend! Due to the limited size reservations are recommend.

A wonderful experience, well above your average restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz. Location down a quiet alley, perfect on a hot sunny day. Exceptional value.

The food is excellent and very tasty! Big portions of the meat (we choose argentinian steak and pork) Piquillos (peppers) is a MUST TRY! The waiter was very nice and helpful! If you’re in Puerto de la Cruz don’t miss this restaurant!

We found this restaurant by chance during our stay last autumn and it’s probably the best place I’ve ever been to. Not only is the food impeccable and the entire place very clean and inviting, but I also felt so comfortable there. The owner and his wife/partner are such lovely people and treated us like friends. They even gave me some of their delicious homemade Aioli to take home to Germany. I would come back to Puerto just for this restaurant alone. 100/10 stars. Much love!

Great food and friendly service. Nicely located - it's relatively incognito so not many tourists pass by there, making the atmosphere more relaxed. All of the food was great, but the croquettes, smoked pepper tapas, entrecote and fish dishes were particularly superb.

Absolute Empfehlung! - Absolutely recommended! We immediately felt warmly welcomed and it was just lovely to chat with the owner as well as with the cook. The menu is available in English, Spanish and German. The food was just delicious and also presented very creative. The amazing location is in a small alley with a lot of beautiful plants which makes a tremendous atmosphere and let you forget that you are in the city center. Unfortunately, we decided to have dinner at La Cocina at our last day in Tenariffa. Otherwise we would have eaten here more often! In conclusion we can say, it was an 11 out of 10 and we would return at any time. All the best from us, you made leaving this beautiful island even harder :)

Quiet street with ambient lighting and a number of smaller restaurants. La Cocina was an excellent choice. Loved it so much, attended twice in a matter of days. Food fantastic, and very friendly team. Can’t recommend La Cocina highly enough.

Excellent little gem of a restaurant found in a narrow street that you could totally miss. Definitely for the connoisseurs. This is Spanish cusine with a twist, all wrapped up in a tasty, fairly priced dish. One issue with the place is that you can't pay by card. So be aware of this while going in. Other than that, a great recommendation.

👍👍 You’d better call to make reservation because it’s a really small and cozy place with only a few tables.
