Don’t let the tired facade of this restaurant fool you or make you hesitate. Inside lies the answer to your dreams. Truly the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Came here twice during our ten day stay and both times the food was exceptional. Service is excellent. I’m Vegan (my Husband isn’t) but the Manager was well informed and helpful. They can and do ‘Veganise’ pretty much everything on the menu so I was completely spoilt for choice. Husband equally blown away by the food too. Excellent value for money and not to be missed.

Absolutely fantastic food here, best indian take away in Puerto de la Cruz. Situated behind the Casablanca apartments near the traffic lights. Visited twice during my stay. This is the best indian food I've eaten outside of the UK and every bit as good as the finest at home ! Well priced and fantastic service. Cobra beer also available !!

Hidden gem !! Service next to none.. staff very friendly and accommodating... food was absolutely amazing couldnt finish the portion size so we were offered to takeaway the remainder ... we were given a complimentary icecream and liquers to finish the meal ... for a restaurant that's only open two months id highly highly recommended.... really reasonable price we had two starters two mains and two drinks for around €35 which is exceptional... we will definitely return

Literally just ate here. By far the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Food was absolutely amazing from the poppadoms and dips to the mains rice and naan we also had samosas which were not greasy but very crispy and full of filling. Even the drinks were good as they freeze the glasses and use huge ice cubes. Highly recommend this place we couldn't fault a single thing. The waiter was very polite and attentive. Would love to have this place at home. Will miss and remember this place.

Tasty Indian food! Arrived here with my girlfriend(must admit we only arrived here as the original restaurant choice was closed!) and were instantly put off by the incredibly rude host/manager who literally had no service skills whatsoever. Thankfully, the waiter/service and food more than made up for it, good prices and a lovely experience (unfortunately pales in comparison to Delhi Darbar) The food and service were really good, we were literally the only diners there and I feel this restaurant will struggle to compete sadly! Very nice! Change the host!

Great new Indian restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz with a very kind waiter/owner. The curries are delicious: well seasoned, and you are able to determine your own preferred level of spicyness. Papadums are free and the union bhaji and pakoora (fried Vegs) are cheap and tasty starters. Only point of improvement is the raita, which I found to be lacking in tasty and texture (too liquid for my taste).

During our time in PDLC we visited 3 Indian restaurants. Mother India, Hindu express and swagat. Service was good. All three were roughly the same price.the curries were ok naan bread was the worst of the three restaurants. Was a bit out of town and lacking in atmosphere.

Good food and good service. There are some Indian dishes that are missing (like my favorite- Malai Kofta), but there is a big range, and sure everyone can find something they like. We especially liked the Aloo Gobi. Prices were reasonable and fair. Beer 1/2 a liter was 2.5€.

👍👍 You’d better call to make reservation because it’s a really small and cozy place with only a few tables. We ordered tapas for 4 people and they surprised us with 11 different tapas dishes and they told us if we finished everything we would get 3 extra of our choices (of course we did!). Everything w...
