Interesting and very diverse exibithion. Every kind of old and modern items from all around the world, not just Spain. Oceania, Japan, amd many other cultures are represented. Amazing collection of swords. However it's too late for me, but on Sunday it is free to visit (2022 Jan)

There's a lot of history in this place. Be prepared to spend some time wandering around the halls looking at the exhibits and the grounds.

Very nice and large museum. Only 5€ entrance fee. It has four floors in old part and three floors in new part of building. Inside you can find history of Toledo and Spain since times of roman empire to modern era, with lots of historical weapons, clothings, books, flags, battles and much more.

It’s free to enter, just get your ticket beside security check point. half of the museum is now closed but it’s still a good choice to visit.

It is now being renovated and only a small fraction of it is available for visiting. Still there was enough information and models on display for a quick visit, which was free for the reason given.

I can't remember exactly why but I came on a day when there was free entry. Overall I enjoyed the museum. I would recommend for anyone that enjoys Spanish and/or military history. It took us about 2 hours to see everything. I have been to most of the Spanish speaking countries so it's great to see where it all started.

I love this museum. Went a few years ago and was absolutely impressed by their collection. Unfortunately this time a majority of it was closed off due to ongoing renovations. Fingers crossed next time I'll be able to see it all again.

Cute little museum. It was free the day we went. The Alcazar was closed so we only saw the museum.

Excellent museum with an amazing view of the city. Easy to walk around, and well kept and maintained.

Not that great, the people at the museum’s not friendly at all and it’s more like a maze. Some days are free entry so If you got kids, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to walk around for a while but not that great. Take into account that the Alcazar and the museum are separate places, so one can be opened and the other’s under maintenance

Entrance is free at the moment since most of the exhibits are closed for renovation. With your free ticket you can see some small exhibits about military history, the archaeology between the entrance and the Alcazar and also around the outside walls, garden and into the courtyard of the Alcazar which for me was more interesting anyway.

Great museum but the alcazar was closed so I didn't get to see much. They were nice enough to make the admission free of charge though.

Free admission for the local and also tourists. Closed on Monday. Should come here to get more knowledge about the history of Spain. It takes about an hour to two to finish exploring.

I liked a lot the exposition. But I was surprised how unprepared they were for extraordinary conditions: we walked in a museum for 30 minutes with yelling alarm, thinking it is just a mistake in a system. Suddenly the staff ran to us asking to leave immediately. When we came back to the main door to pick up our staff from a cloak room, the guardian hided himself behind the door and refused to speak. Neither he became more polite when I told him we have a bus in the evening to Bilbao. Finally, after 40 minutes of being nervous and thinking of cancelling a bus, they opened a door. Well, nobody apologised, but at least I got my computer and warm clothes back. P.S. Don't leave your clothes and especially documents in a cloak room. It may have sad consequences.

Great museum of you love anything to do with the military, war or armies. Unfortunately, due to the museum part being under construction or renovation, we were not able to access it however the ticket was free due to that so it was worth the visit. The gardens here has a lovely view of Toledo and the gift shop had so many lovely books, military clothing and items.

A bit disappointed. I had a great memory of this museum. It's been updated a lot, so the building is great, but I find the setup and floorplan very confusing. I fell we haven't seen the most interesting ones. Also many of the objects are reproductions.

Best museum I visited in Spain. If you are interested in history, weapons, or anything military related this museum is a must see. It takes about 2 hours to see everything. Take one of the museum maps with you. It is absolutely essential.

There is such a lot to see you will need a couple of hours, more if you have the audio guide. As you walk around each floor don't forget to go into every opening. There are also audio visual displays.
