This a great small museum with beautiful paintings, a courtyard with great architecture, and some neat maps in the gift shop. We went on a Sunday when it was free!

Somebody called this museum small but it is huge for a small town. It's currently free for some reason and includes an eclectic bunch of objects which seem to be of high quality. It also has better than average English translations in the permanent collection. The second floor seems to be under refurbishment or something like that. The cloister is open with a book exhibition on the ground floor and tiles from Valencia on the next floor.

I attempted to visit Museo De Santa Cruz yesterday accompanied by my service animal. Not only did the manager “Antonio” turn me away but he also slammed the ticket window in my face because I asked for his name and his supervisors name. When he slammed the window and refused I took a picture of him because he had a name tag on and I wanted to make sure I had his name. He then stormed out of the ticket office and attempted to knock my phone out of my hand. He became very physically threatening and began to curse me. I had all of my paperwork with me proving my dog is a fully licensed service animal but he completely refused to look at any of it. It’s completely unacceptable to deny me entry based on my disability and it’s even more unacceptable to verbally abuse and attempt to physically attack me. This man has to be stopped. If anyone knows a good discrimination attorney in Spain a referral would be greatly appreciated.

See some real El Greco's for a small price in a manageable size museum. I like the variety of types of art.

We enjoyed it, it was interesting and free. Two important factors for us. The permanent art exhibition was not to our taste but it didn't spoil the overall experience.

The museum is just a few meters away from the sightseeing bus stop #1. We visited the museum after 4pm which was free. We were surprised to see Picasso's masterpieces in the museum. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They offered their own seat to my sister who looked unwell.

A varied selection of interesting art and artefacts from religious paintings to Roman artefacts to Picasso to ceramics. Well worth a visit. Check out their website as on some days there is free entry.

A beautiful collection but rude staff who don't let you make more than 1 pass within the exhibition hall (or reverse direction slightly) without concluding immediately that you're trying to break rules. Going there is not worth the poor treatment.

Great collection & exhibit! What a welcoming place for tourists, the community and world. Experiencing the building's architecture is worth a visit alone. The admission was free! How fortunate we are to have not only these works to enjoy, but that they're incorporated into the preservation of historic architecture. It's so accessible and easily located.

A hidden gem. It's small but free to enter and has a good mix of religious and historical displays. Perfect way to warm yourself up for your museum sprawl.

It’s not so big museum, but they have a lot of precious arts. Particularly, El Greco is amazing. Around 1 hour is enough to see all exhibits.

Beautiful museum, not that famous for many people! Its quite small so you will need only about half an hour to visit it! There are many paintings of El Greco, even more than those in El Greco's House museum. Very interesting paintings in general, all about religion. Even if someone is not religious, it's great opportunity to see those paintings and the different ways artist painted. Those of El Greco stand out easily of course. Take a visit!

Excellent collection of painting, including several El Greco's. Ceramics section on the second floor is also quite noteworthy.

Amazing museum. The collections are interesting and there is a beautiful courtyard. The temporary exhibits come with a nice video. What's more? Free of charge! Couldn't believe it.
