The castle is located in the highest part of the city. There is a fee to visit the castle: €3.50 for adults, €2.50 for children between 3 and 12 years old. 5 stars for the 360º panoramic view, otherwise the museum presents the history of Cartagena during the Middle Ages. The museum itineraries are entirely accessible to disabled people.

It is quite well maintained. Inside you have some antiques to see. Armor, weapons, clothing. There are birds and peacocks in the interior garden and it has amazing views of the entire area.

It is worth the visit for the views of the city, not for the museum content or rooms to explore.

I give the 4 stars because the views are impressive, but access to the museum has a price of almost 4 euros, without the possibility of any discount (I also crossed out this possible discount by hand, so I did not pass), plus the two euros for going up. in the elevator. It seems excessive to me

Nice surprise. History of the city in a very beautiful enclave; the best views, even of the Roman theater, on the walk towards the access to the Interpretation Center. Recommended even paying.

Amazing structure. Especially nice to see the Amphitheater in the south of Spain

This was one of the more underwhelming sites of our visit to Cartagena. The cost for entrance to the 'castle'-proper was 3.75 euros per person. Of sites in the city of similar cost this was simply not worth it. The views from the surrounding hill top are just as good (and free). Paying for admission provides you with little additional benefit there is a short video, few artefacts, and the ability to walk through one of the cisterns but this is definitely not worth the money.

Small. Limited. Not anything special. A bit of Carthagenea history

You can either walk up here or take the left but either way other than there being high point of you of the city there was nothing to see here in this fortress. I thought paying three fifty euros was a waste . the restrooms are inside after you pay . you can’t use the restrooms until after you pay.

Agradable sorpresa. Historia de la ciudad en un enclave muy bonito; las mejores vistas, incluso del teatro romano, en el paseo hacia el acceso al Centro de Interpretación. Recomendable incluso pagando.

👍 Took the opportunity to visit during the Museum Night weekend and was super impressed with the exhibits displayed. Overall a great exposure to the navy history with amazing range of ships and weapons from the olden days. Would definitely recommend families to visit as means of educational purposes!
