This museum is special. It is the effort, hours of volunteer work and passion for glass blowing, of a group of retired artisans, who joined forces to preserve one of the most beautiful and difficult crafts in the world, already in danger of extinction. In the museum there are unique, centuries-old pieces that coexist with other glass works made in the 21st century. Passionate about glass, they voluntarily open the museum on Saturday mornings and hold glassblowing exhibitions, free of charge. A visit is essential if you are in Cartagena, since glass blowing is part of the city's 19th century history.

Muy chulo, un orgullo tener ese museo aquí, y una grandisima pena que esté casi siempre cerrado. Por no decir siempre y no poder aprovechar el arte y artesanía local que tenemos.

We visited it on museum day and they had a glass blowing exhibition, we really liked being able to see how they did it, we were all amazed seeing how the man made the figurines of different animals, what skills he has and how much practice he has. The museum itself is very cool, it has incredible figures, we got a good feeling.

Spectacular demonstration by their glass artisans, which we were able to witness on the night of the museums, there are no words to describe the mastery and know-how of these "masters" who delighted all of us who were there with their mastery. . "Awesome"
