Main building is closed until 2024 but they have a very nice exhibit hall in the docks area, next to museo marítimo.

The museum is relatively small, but audio-guide via mobile application is very well done. The ticket costs 4 €, which also gives access to the necropolis.

Small museum of ancient Roman Tarragena with good displays. Texts in English too.

It’s not very big and all the descriptions are written in Catalan and Spanish. For a foreigner, it was a nice visit outside of Rome to experience and see Roman influence in Spain but since there wasn’t anything written in English it was a bit difficult to follow and keep interested. However, if I’m not mistaken they might have an option for an audio guide.

A very special place. We were walking among the spirits of Romans. Learn the history of the underrated gorgeous and mysterious, yet friendly Tarragona.

Very nice museum. The audio guide combined with excellent displays give you a complete picture of what the city used to be like some 2000 years ago.

Interessting museum about the history of Tarragona. Would be five stars if they had more English explanations. Most of them are only in Spanish.

Jeez. Would it kill you to update the site to TEMPORARILY CLOSED. In fact it is closed. Under renovation. And what is with all the people giving this site an actual review? Knock it off!

Only the Necropolis and part of the exposition are located here, the original excavations are here. It was unexpected and otherworldly to see cats waiting near the stone graves as if they were really watching over them.

👍👍 A must visit if you are in Tarragona. This cathedral is just sublime and its cloister is a little nugget. A crush ♥️ It's quiet, well maintained with pretty ponds with fish and turtles and beautiful vegetation including roses that smell pleasantly good. The cathedral offers beautiful stained glass...

👍👍 Wow! The best pizza and the best steak I have ever had in Spain, all delicious. The wine is also good, the prices are quite reasonable and the terrace is appreciated now in the summer. I loved.
