Simply perfect where do I start, from the excellent service, to the mouth watering lamb gyros. I was shocked, i didn't believe such perfect food existed. My world changed that second, i finally found purpose to my life. Who new one gyro from Nebraska would make me live again. My favorite place to eat in Lincoln now!!! I had the Hot and Spicy gyro and it was delicious. The Greek sauce is also sooo good. I had a Baklava with it and I think it changed my perspective on almond infused desserts for the better.

I had the hot and spicy gyro. Wow was it ever good. Spicy and full of flavor but not too much spice. Really good!

The chicken kebabs are fantastic and enough for two people. The gyro "z" sandwich is also an excellent choice.

If you are in Lincoln and it is around 2:00 a.m., you will get food here, correction very good food here, recommend this place as take away since seating is not that great but the guy in the pic treats you very well, please find time to talk to him. Chicken gyro sandwich and chicken kebab were awesome, he can make it tandoori on special request.

I have been eating here since I came to college in 2010. The gyros are always fresh and delicious! Even my kids never argue when we eat here! It has definitely been a staple in downtown for a LONG time! My go to is the spicy z plate. Lunch, Dinner, after the bars grub to go, you can never go wrong with this place! Also their falafels are amazing!

Delicious gyros for a great price. The service was fast and friendly. I had the hot and spicy and it was perfect! A few morning-after regrets, but well worth it. ;) My guys had the regular gyro plate and loved them. Would definitely come again and try everything they have to offer.

I've been an avid customer of Ali Baba's for 32 years. The last year of taking friends there has been very disappointing. The meat is dry and the potatoes are not cooked correctly. They even tried putting olives on my fiancees gyro and no Taziki sauce. The quality of food has diminished and the service is lacking care. I would not recommend this fast food quality restaurant to anyone! Would give them 2 stars because the price has not changed. Earns 1 star because it's at least edible.

The food was decent, although the gyro meat was a little tough. The chicken wings weren't the best because they weren't cooked properly. In addition, the customer service was excellent! The guy kept the restaurant in good shape and is helpful. I'll return!

The band and myself came to eat here while being on tour, and these are probably the best gyros we've had. I love that this is a family restaurant and you can taste it. Superb.

Came to this place after 5 years… with kids this time And they absolutely loved the food… the owner helps everyone with suggestions… and gyros are the best… the greek potatoes are Grilled and anytime are much better than the fried fries…must visit place

Awesome little corner restaurant in Lincoln. An actual real gyro place too, with a spit and all. The owner is a very friendly guy and the prices are quite fair. Interior is a little small and cramped but it's a downtown restaurant in an office area so you can't really blame them. Gyros were fantastic with a great tzatziki sauce. Would recommend!

I first went to Ali Baba Gyro in 2021. 2 years later, the food quality is even better than before (although it was already the best to begin with) but the ingredients never changed. It's been the same quality every day for years. The portions leave you stuffed and the food is mouthwatering. I have yet to have a Gyro in Lincoln as good as Ali Baba. King of the Gyro 🥙👑

Very good gyros and even better customer service! The two young men who helped us out last night were very friendly and helpful. Ordered the gyro sandwich and the chicken plate. The chicken was grilled to perfection and the gyro meat was amazing. We're not from the area but if we ever get a chance to come back, we definitely will!

Quality really dropped lately, and I've frequented here for 10 plus years, and it's never before been hit or miss on the food quality. Examples include the gyro meat not grilled, seemed a bit raw; less steak fries; plate size smaller. Still, nice location, but once really good food not really good anymore. Positive, the workers are friendly.

Rice over Gyro should not be like this. We were hungry and eaten whatsoever got. Meat was hard for the kids. Hope they will have genuine gyro rice for the travelers. Their behavior was good.

Delicious gyro, perfectly seasoned steak fries, and that pita... to die for. I love a warm, thick, moist pita. We took the fries home and they reheat perfectly and maybe better than art the table. Highly recommend!

If you want a delicious gyro that makes you want to take a nap after eating it because it's loaded up with so much meat then I'd recommend this place. I got the spicy gyro and steak fries and they were both delicious with loads of flavor.

First off I loved the food. Quick service and my request for more tomatoes was quickly fulfilled. A lot of food especially more meat. I liked the servers smile and sense of humor. Ali Baba's was clean and set up well. Look forward to eating there again.

Ali Baba is number one Gyro in the town. I’ve tried many other restaurants gyros but it’s nothing like this one. Do yourself a favor and order a Bogie Burger 🍔 once in your life.

Good chicken kebab. One small edge of my soft shell was a little tough and chewy. Almost all the chicken was perfect. Maybe one or two pieces out of the whole kebab were not really good bites. Served with onions, feta, lettuce, tomatoes, of course white kebab sauce, and sliced potatoes, and a kabob shell. Chicken came on the wooden kebab stick. A vinegarette was drizzled over the vegetables, which I loved. It was a nice touch. The potatoes had a very fine subtle and delectable seasoning. Their texture was good. One or two bites were a little dry. Very filling. Four stars but an extra star because I like the owner. He is a very inclusive man. $9.99.

What can I say that hasn't been said before? Ali Baba is THE BEST gyro in town. The workers are always kind, funny, and willing to load you up with a monster of a Greek sandwich. Don't forget, always ask for the "Shakey Shakey". If you know, you know. Get the Z-Plate and you'll never go to another Greek spot.
