While
we
were
at
this
Hampton
Inn
we
were
hit
with
a
thunder
storm.
The
hotel
was
full
since
there
was
a
baseball
tournament
going
on
in
the
area.
The
person
at
the
desk
was
very
polite
and
welcoming.
Thank
you.
My
wife
and
I
have
travelled
across
the
country
many
times.
On
our
last
trip
we
hit
a
deer
on
the
second
day
going
from
New
York
to
California.
We
were
stranded
in
Akron,
Ohio
for
six
nights
while
our
car
was
being
repaired.
When
we
got
our
car
to
Serra
Honda
(Akron),
we
could
see
a
Hampton
Inn
from
the
repair
bay
and
we
decided
to
stay
there
while
we
waited
for
the
car
to
be
repaired.
We
also
travel
with
our
beloved
Black
Lab,
Greta.
Most
of
the
Hampton
Inns
were
pet-friendly
and
had
grounds
which
were
conducive
to
pets.
Greta
seemed
to
enjoy
each
room
since
they
were
set
up
in
a
similar
manner.
After
our
car
was
repaired
we
decided
that
we
would
stay
at
Hampton
Inns
while
we
travelled
cross-country,
both
ways.
The
Hampton
Inns
are
all
pretty
similar
and
all
are
pretty
comfortable.
What
set
them
apart
from
each
other
are
the
personnel
and
the
morning
breakfast.
Since
I
am
rating
each
hotel,
I
will
rate
these
specific
criteria
(5-
best/1-
worse):
• Front
Desk/Check-in: 5
• Room
Cleanliness: 5
• Appropriate
Pet
Areas: 5
• Morning
Breakfast: 5
