Had a couple bad experiences with billing but decided to give them another shot. Had another poor experience. In May I went in for a “med check” I was billed $180 because I mentioned other topics. I said I was using cream for my face and that I went to a dermatologist for that and then also my OB was providing my BC but since I brought that topic up as a discussion they counted it towards a topic along with two others…..How terrible! Never going back! I tried fighting it multiple times and ended up having to pay $180 for a dang med check.

Dr. Heidi is my wife's doctor. She and the nurses are very nice, friendly, and very helpful. Medical professionals are also human and they can't act the same way all time. Their job can be very stressful sometimes and they may appear upset or unhappy, but that shouldn't be counted against them.

Went in for a pretty painful sore throat. They did the generic tests which came back negative. Doctor says its viral and sends me away. 3 miserable days later I go to urgent care to get a second opinion. They diagnose as bacterial after actually looking in my mouth(which this doctor didn't do) and running a more in depth test. Symptoms started getting better the day I start antibiotics. I will never get the time, money, and loss of wellbeing back from this place. Don't make the same mistake I did, go anywhere else.

I needed my prescriptions refilled and authorized. However, the APRN, Amanda Malina (I don't think she's employed with FFH anymore) prescribed me a Z pack in error the day before my appointment. Then, she never refilled my medications with CVS. Additionally, I was poked a total of three or four times while an inexperienced nurse's assistant tried to take my blood for a lab. I was also never sent the lab results. I'm OK with paying for a service, but honestly, I didn't receive a service at this appointment. The meds weren't refilled, CVS was given the incorrect script, and I never received my lab results. Additionally, I never received a bill for this visit until now, about 10 months later in November 2020. I emailed the billing director, Dinah Wetindi, in November 2020. She never responded. I received a call from reception today asking for money. I explain that I emailed Dinah, and they had me forward the email to the reception. The “supervisor” (not sure if it was Dinah) called me later to offer a paltry apology about being poked 4 times and said “some people are harder to get blood from.” Okay. She then denied I was ever prescribed an incorrect script. I asked why I received a bill 10 months later, and she stated they were having issues with their billing being sent out to patients. I’m not sure why this is my issue. The “supervisor” then tells me I indeed received a service, and that I may not have received my lab results because “things get lost in the mail all the time.” This is highly unacceptable. She then offers to send me the lab results from February 2020. It’s March 2021. She keeps stating how “this is a courtesy call” and how I would be sent to collections. Essentially, she is telling me they’re doing me a favor by calling me and demanding money for a service I never received. She denied my experience, had a rebuttal for every concern, and did not believe me. She conveyed zero empathy. I paid the bill because it’s not worth ruining my credit. I don’t recommend Fallbrook Family Health to anyone. I followed a provider that left Fallbrook’s office (rightfully so). I receive MUCH better service at Hart and Arndt Family Health. I can’t recommend them enough. EDIT: It is now July 20, 2021 and Dinah never sent me the lab results from February 2020. She scoffed when I said I never received the lab results. I NEVER received a physical bill and they demanded payment because their system was not working. Stay away from Fallbrook Family Health at all costs if you want a good patient experience.

I’ve seen Dr. Brinkhoff for almost 10 years (since moving to Lincoln). She has been with me through the onset of various health conditions. The dedication and service received from Dr. Brinkhoff, and the entire staff, is exemplary. Professionalism from making an appointment, checking in, and throughout the appointment. Highly recommend!

Have been trying to get a bill resolved since May. Went in for a COVID test. Checked with my work, my insurance, and the clinic before I went and they all confirmed it was 100% covered. A month later I get a bill for over $200 with a bunch of other tests on it that I did not want or ask for. Have been getting bounced around between the billing dept and the office to get it resolved and now they’re threatening to turn it into collections and ruin my credit score before I can even get ahold of a decision maker or have anyone (including the supervisor who I’ve left voicemails for) call me back to discuss. According to the individuals I have spoke with at their billing dept they have this issue a lot from patients calling in about their bill. So sad to take advantage of people like this especially during these times. They’ve lost my trust and my families business after 6 years because of this. I would take these practices into consideration when choosing your clinician.

I have been here twice and both times have been terrible. This last time I went in for a sore throat which I knew was strep. I had to go through a backdoor to sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes. Dr. Saathoff came in. Listened to my lungs, 1/2 looked in my nose and ears and swabbed my tongue...my tongue for a strep test. Then he put 2 Q-tips up my nose which I didn't even know he was going to do and tested me for covid, which I did not consent to. After another 30 minutes, after they forgot about me in the room and the nurse had to ask me who I was, he came in and said both tests were negative and walked out (not sure if he even read the results). Very unprofessional and sketchy. Two days later, I still didn't feel better so I went to Urgent Care where they did a full examination and swabbed my throat and low and behold, I had strep. The doctor there, sat and discussed everything with me for at least 10 minutes. I am still recovering from the illness two weeks later because I was not properly treated at Fallbrook. Furthermore, I just looked at my insurance claim and he ran an Influenza test on me as well that I was not made aware of. Very, very disappointed in this place and we will not be going back.

This location is not part of the Bryan Network, although I incorrectly assumed they were as they have a Bryan logo on their building. Their payment options are by phone or by mail, and they did not mention anything about a payment plan. My 2yo son was seen by Dr. Saathoff twice in two weeks because he was being sent home from daycare regularly. The first visit, he did a Covid swab, he tested negative, and he said, "It must just be a virus," and sent us on our way. No further explanation. The second visit, I told him he had a Covid test last week that was negative, but he still has all the same symptoms as his previous visit. He did another Covid test, as well as a flu test and a test for RSV (I can understand the reason for the tests, as all of these things were going around). When all three came back negative, he said, "Must just be a virus," and sent us away, again. No further assistance. I finally went out of network to see our previous provider (we switched because our original provider was no longer in network after an insurance change), and they did not make us do any Covid tests, and they gave him an antibiotic. He was better after that visit. This place is garbage, and Dr. Saathoff was, while a kind enough man, not in the least bit attentive to my son. He just treated us both like another number.

From the phone call to end of the visit I am always very satisfied with the care that I receive at Fallbrook Family Health Center. My phone call was answered in reasonable time and the appointment scheduled timely and without hesitation. Checking in at the desk was discretely and promptly. The receptionist was pleasant and courteous as well. The nurse was friendly and thorough. Listened with intent and asked the right questions to make note of what I was there for. I was there to see Miranda and I felt like a valued patient. I generally see Dr. Brinkhoff but she had been out of the office. Miranda took the time to know a bit of my history and looked into the prior treatments that I had received. Over all I would, and have, suggested this practice to many friends or anyone who asks for a good medical practice.

Finding a new doctor after 5 years of chaos from FFH. So much turnover on their teams that you never know who your primary care provider is - they never tell you when your PCP up and leaves. They lose records and faxes and they cannot see on their end what you see on their portal. Not good.

Seems to be a lot of staff turn over. I'm on my third nurse practitioner because the previous two ( both of whom I really liked) left. Same with front office staff, don't think I've seen the same person there twice.

Ive been going to this office since i was about ten years old. It used to be down the road and privately owned, then bought by bryan and moved to fallbrook (whichever came first). I failed to make a visit for a couple years due to travel, etc. Paperwork goes dormant a.k.a. lost/deleted and when i try to set it up it wasnt filed because i changed my mind about a visit. I was sick with a cold, no covid, they told me it would be 3-5 business days to get paperwork filed. Cold will be gone by then presumably. Their nurse calls me back and tells me i can come in that afternoon around 1pm and i had already made plans. Deleted my refiled paperwork after i told them i didnt need the appt. since the cold would be gone in five days.

👍 I would have given a 5 star. I drove clear across Lincoln and chose this location. Dr.Ewing was wonderful along with the nurse in the room both very nice and made me feel at ease. However, the front desk girl who sat at the door could use some training in her patient service area. Did not greet wi...

👍 Been going there since they opened as People's Health. Seen many changes. Times I felt like leaving them mostly because of rude front desk people. If you were 30 seconds late coming in the door you had to reschedule. Wait times were, even with appointments, would exceed an hour. That kind of stuff....

👍 Did a walk in DOT exam around 12 pm on a weekday. No 5th star for 2 reasons out of their control. 1. They text you a link to fill out your paperwork online via your phone. Idea is great but I experienced technical issues making it a bit frustrating. 2. Small waiting area that quickly went from comf...
