Absolutely the best Thai in Lincoln! The noodles are moist (this sounds kind'a strange, but some of the other Thai restaurants that I've visited in the past have cooked their noodles for too long, therefore leaving them overly dry and "clumpier" than usual), the meat is cooked just right, the spiciness is spot-on, that unique Thai taste is through the roof and the customer service is very kind. One of our favorites - Mango Rice, is there (good mango too!... not the green stuff), Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai are all also there... including a Thai soup - which is kind of like Vietnamese Pho, but has its own style and taste... a surprise! If you're looking for darn good Thai -- personally this is the best that I've had in Lincoln in years. Go/look no further - Asian Taste Thai Restaurant is it! (take-out photos added)

Genuinely one of the most authentic and delicious Thai restaurants that I've ever been to! I was passing through the city during a road trip, and it was such a pleasant surprise to find such a hidden gem in the middle of Nebraska. The restaurant really doesn't look like much, but don't let the run-down exterior and slightly sketchy neighboring gas station scare you away. The service is absolutely incredible; our server was incredibly kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful, and she was super helpful with answering our questions and accommodating my dietary restrictions. And the food...wow. Truly some of the best papaya salad and tom yum that I've ever had in my life. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the pad thai and pad woon sen, although the dishes were a little too salty for their taste. One thing I will note, though, is that Asian Taste's spice levels are pretty legitimate (this is definitely a spice level scale catered toward a Thai person's taste buds)...their "spicy" level is actually quite hot, so definitely be prepared for the dishes to bring on the heat. All in all, Asian Taste was (shockingly) one of the highlights of my trip to Lincoln, and if I ever find myself in the city again, I will definitely drop by again.

I won't go back. There was nothing "bad" about it, but I didn't enjoy my meal. We tried the fried beef meatballs. All the images are apparently of the pork, which look round. I've included one of the beef. We thought it looked tempura fried in the pictures. It's not. It was basically a flavorless, chewy, beef gyro chunk. The dipping sauce was sweet, but bitter. The chicken fried rice is definitely Thai styled. Since this is a Thai restaurant that's good, but I prefer Chinese style. Thai has less flavor to me. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with medium hot heat. It was overly sweet without the classic Drunken Noodle flavor that I love. The sweet basil was whole and strong. I enjoyed it more when I cut it into strips to spread it out between bites. As it was I had to add a fair bit of siracha to bring up the heat and combat the sweetness and I don't really like siracha so that says something. We were the only dine-in guests on a Saturday evening, but we heard several people come to collect to-go orders. The building is old. Clean, but it didn't make me trust it enough to try their sushi. The iced tea was good.

Asian Taste Thai Restaurant makes spectacularly good food. I was craving Thai curry and they brought me the best beef panang curry (with peanuts at my request) I've ever had. The pumpkin was a great addition, can't recommend it enough. The vegetable tempura was crisp and cooked just right. The sticky mango rice was lightly sweet and refreshing, letting the sweet mango be the star of the show. Service was fast and courteous with no language barrier. The only criticism I really have is the atmosphere. This restaurant was clearly some other kind of business once so the dining area is broken into multiple oddly shaped spaces. Decor is minimal. The place is clean and well lit though. My opinion is you should ignore everything else but this, Asian Taste Thai Restaurant is the hidden gem foodies crave. Authentic food excellently prepared.

A hole in the wall, local secret, won't find it unless you're looking for it kind of restaurant and it's fantastic. They've got amazing curry, tasty sushi, delicious Thai tea and fantastic pad thai... That's all I've tried so far but I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. This restaurant is tucked away on the far west side of town but it's totally worth the drive. They've got a great online ordering system set up on their website making carryout a easy option.

There was quick and friendly service, and the food is amazing! I ordered Pad See Ew with tofu at the hottest spice level and a Thai tea with boba, the portion size was generous and I look forward to having the rest of my noodles for lunch tomorrow :) definitely coming back!

Overpriced and over exaggerated. Look how they skim you on fish and is willing to charge you on no fish and all rice. This was the most disappointing experience I have ever had for 3 rolls and a dish it cost is $48+. The fish is not fresh and if you can't tell then do not come here. They made us wait a ridiculous 45min. It is very over price and the staff was very rude. When we entered, they just ignored us and didn't even greet us. We were not the only one. 5 other guess was rudly ignored and waited even longer than us when they ordered 50min earlier for pickup.

Quiet hole in the wall place....excellent sushi. Will visit here the next time I'm in Lincoln. Got sushi and some food to take on the road with me. The average meal I saw was between 10-20$

So happy we went and tried something we aren't very familiar with. Tried Drunken Noodle with lime-leaf and sweet basil. It was a new taste sensation to me. Loved it. Already decided to try Fried Rice anything next time. Can't wait!

This is the best Thai food I’ve had in the Lincoln and Omaha areas! The service was phenomenal. I will definitely be eating here more often!!

Barely mediocre. Part of the problem was service, but I understand there often are issues with service these days. More importantly, the food wasn’t very good. I ordered the spring rolls, they were good, just not great, skimpy filling, mostly fried wrapper. Also had the Pad See Ew, chicken, medium. Good spice level, but the sauce was not typical (for what I’m accustomed to for that dish) and the noodles were also not the usual noodles. Maybe there are supply issues here, not sure. But it wasn’t to my liking.

The food is amazing there. Service is good/friendly but isn't very good about refilling drinks or checking in on customers. Atmosphere is quiet and easy to talk to others in your group. I highly suggest the Panang Curry.

There are a lot of Thai restaurants in Lincoln, but Asian Taste is by far the best. We get takeout from here about once a week, and it’s always delicious and our order is always correct. The portions are enough for us to have lunch the next day and the staff is very friendly. The only thing my husband would request to make it even better is if they added Massaman Curry to the menu. Highly recommend checking Asian Taste Thai Restaurant out!!

😠 We paid $15 EACH for two chimichanga plates. This portion size isn’t even worth $10. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and I have never paid this much money for such a small portion and food that is honestly far below average quality for the price you’re being charged. I don’t know where al...
