I'm not too sure how to describe what I just witnessed.... The pizza was good. The prices were crazy good. I didn't want sausage but I got it anyway and he insisted. It was good. I'm glad I didn't walk out when I walked in. Sam is hilarious. I'm not sure if he's deaf or not. I'm not sure if he snuck out of the nursing home and he's got the real Sam in the back tied up? But I'm glad we found this place. We were traveling and hungry! "Happy Easter"!?! And "moor powwa"... I gave him $20 for a $10 pizza because... I think I was hypnotized? I'm not sure. You'll have to see for yourself... It was a 3 star pizza but.... I'm so confused.

Best pizza, small town #1 pizza! I listened to some of the other reviewers and the deal of this pizza is great. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly. And the crust is perfect and the sauce is so flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place! Coming here every time I'm in the area!

Wow, I'm on a two-week trip to the United States, and this's my fifth time on the continent. And this is definitely the most amazing experience I have had in the United States. To meet a man who has been in the same place for more than 50 years and the place seems to have not changed at all and to see all his love for pizza - it's wow If you're traveling in the US you must get there

Sam, the owner, is super friendly and funny. He interacts with his customers like they are family. He makes his own pizza dough as if he was in Italy. The value is insane. He should be charging more. Great taste and value! I wish I could go back.

I don't know where Sam gets his ingredients, but this is some of the freshest tasting pizza I have ever had. It's worth the wait.

Sam is great, but I really can't say much for the pizza. Doughy crust, sauce just ok, sausage tasteless. Price was great, twelve inch pie for $9. So if I were starving, and broke, would try again.

This is one of those town favorites, great pizza, Sam's hard working one man show. And everyone keeps coming back for a reason. If they phone isn't going through, just order in person Sam sometimes gets too busy to attend calls.

The most charming small town pizza shop you'll find, with great pizza and an easy vibe. Zero frills--but all you need is a few bites and it'll sink in that you made the right choice. Sam is tough to follow sometimes, but he's kind, funny, and makes darn good pizza. I'd call that plenty.

Sam is great. One of those golden nugget finds. So nice you can still find these places if you’re open to them. Pizza is great, flavorful… got one fully loaded including anchovies. Crust is crispy, not SUPER thin if that’s what you are looking for, but great flavor and texture tavern cut pizza crust. It’s not Dominos (fortunately!) it may not work out if you are in a hurry. Go in and see if it works out, two thumbs up!

Travelling through from out of town, not many places open on a Sunday night. I was about to divorce my grumpy angry husband who is on this trip with me, but then he went to Sam's Pizza and came back with a huge smile on his face, chuckling, because he loved his conversation with Sam. It cheered him up immensely and I got to see the person I married Apparently Sam has quite the sense of humor! And the pizza was DELICIOUS! I regret not going to pick up the pizza to meet Sam. Sounds like he is a legend around here, and I bet his pizza is too! Thanks Sam, for saving me money for a divorce attorney, saving my marriage, and providing an amazing dinner!

I found Sam's because it was halfway between my kids and my home. We wanted to get together for my birthday. Sam's looked like a hidden gem. We ordered, hung out, waited over 2 hours and finally left and went to the root beer place down the street. My grandkids had school the next day and we each had a two hour drive home. Sam is one little old man (75+?) doing what he loves. I'm not sure if he knows how low his prices are but I feel he is being taken advantage of. The number of people that came and went while we were there was unbelievable. Sam is one guy, no other help, no clear communication. Kept saying "UPS, happy Easter, computer not working, whatever." Make sure you have time to wait. I did not have any pizza but the experience was interesting.

So glad my husband and I stopped here on the way through town. My husband had been here over 20 years ago and remembered it being great then. Sam is kind, menu is simple, the flavor is amazing. You leave and think he should be charging more!!! This place is just what the world needs right now ❤️. Happy Easter Sam
