Great club with great staff. You'll have an amazing time if you practice good comedy club etiquette. If you don't well you French fried when you should have pizza'd.

Went to see Lavelle Crawford(11/5/21). OMG!! We had a jaws-hurting🤣, stomach/sides aching from so much laughter🤣, fun time!! The club was very nicely arranged for the show. The staff was super friendly, quick with our orders, and very informative. Tickets were reasonably priced and so worth the purchase. The food was perfectly cooked and served piping hot. "Lemon-Pepper Wings" were more the size of small chicken legs(see the pic), but no argument for a bigger piece of meat🤪, AND they were delicious! The drinks were so yummy! The "Hurricane" was so good that I had 2 😊😋🤫😀. Definitely excited to return here for our next comedy show outing.

I have been a customer of Tacoma Comedy Club for many years and am extremely disappointed by the new location on 6th Avenue. At the downtown location we have always had a fantastic time and have gone in groups of 4-6 that were easily accommodated. I visited this location on 6th avenue tonight with four friends for a total party of five as a special occasion for our friend’s military homecoming. The staff were unable to manage a small party of five as the only tables available seat four. We had to split our group into two and it was difficult to visit or even talk from so far away. Our server allowed us to move our tables together and the manager promptly came over in a very aggressive manner and was telling us in a very short tone that we had to move the tables back immediately for fire code purposes. This was extremely off putting and put a damper on an already bummer of an evening. We were already separated from our friends we had not seen in a long time and then we both had to share our tables with strangers. I recommend either not filling the room to such a proximity that moving a table a few feet will result in fire code issues. Or allow a few tables near the back that accommodate any parties larger than four. I will not be returning to or recommending the 6th Ave location to anyone.

They made me buy a minimum of two drinks which is ok. But the mango beer was the worst I have ever tried in my entire life. The show was great. The seating arrangement could be better.

I had a great experience here. We went to see Aries Spears 10:30pm show so it was 21+ only and I'm glad we chose that one. We got a silver package which included food for the both of us and drinks for us as well, plus tip! So there was nothing to sign afterwards since we paid in advance. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be back!

This was a very convenient lunch time favorite where I took my kids, who attended Tacoma School of the Arts, almost weekly for lunch. I am so thankful and grateful to have found Grit City Breakfast. Along with great food, we met and got to know so many wonderful people that truly delivered great service consistently. Thank you to the manager Lacey, and her staff. We are going to miss all of you at this location and wish you all the best at the new location.

Always had great experience coming here. Had onion rings and nachos supreme and it was enough to feed 2 hungry people. Couldn't take pictures of the food as the show had started and no flash photography was allowed which I completely understand. Service was a bit slow but I think it's because the place was pretty packed so no complaints. All in all, would come back!

I've been to a couple comedy shows in and around Tacoma and Seattle. None have compared to Tacoma Comedy Club. From seeing Jo Koy way back when I'm early 2014 or so, to live podcasts in 2017/18 this venue never disappoints. Most recently we thoroughly enjoyed seeing Gareth Reynolds, and the venue may be featured for a special as the night was filmed. Parking is not an issue despite being downtown. There are blocks of street parking along Market, and a parking garage across the street. When the doors open, they will check ID and give you a stamp. At the ticket counter provide your name and number in your party. Your waiter will walk you to your table. It's a tight fit for everyone, so small bags if you need to carry one. Once at the table, menus are there and you can order almost right away. The earlier you arrive, the closer to the front. Food and drinks are amazing, I had the taco salad and it was delicious. After the show, the comedians will usually be by the door to exit and you can meet and great, buy some merch, grab a photo, or head on home. Miles was our server and he did a great job juggling everyone's orders. Thank you for the amazing work you do.

Looking for a place to laugh until Blue Moon shoots out of your nose? Look no further than the Tacoma comedy club! This place has it all: hilarious comedians, delicious food, and refills so fast you'll think you're trapped in a time loop. And speaking of loops, the jokes you'll hear here will have you in stitches so bad, you might need a stitch or two to hold yourself together. But don't worry, the food is so good, it'll act as a delicious band-aid for your funny bone. So round up your spouse and friends and come on down to the Tacoma comedy club, where the comedy is hot, the food is fresh, and the refills are faster than a cheetah on a skateboard.

A fun time, good drinks/food, friendly waitstaff. Convenient parking nearby. Honestly, maybe this sounds weird,, but I was most impressed by how sturdy our table was, I didn't spend the whole time worrying about it tipping/rocking so I could just enjoy the show. A definite plus when sharing a small table with strangers. Will definitely go here again at some point.

Best bang for your buck for a night out in Tacoma.. and memorable! There's nothing like live comedy! The venue is cozy, some tables may be small, but the food and appetizers are very well priced for the quality ...and the entertainment is unbelievably awesome!! We have truly enjoyed all the comedians! Early arrival is best if you want parking on the street closer to venue, but generally you don't have to park too far away. It's a safe environment, they don't allow guests to come and go from the facility. So plan on staying and having fun once you check in😉!

There’s no bad seat at this comedy club. I was so excited to see Jason Banks and he did not disappoint. The wait staff was amazing. Super fast and friendly. We had such a great time. The only pseudo criticism I have is maybe eat before or after unless you’re in the mood for so-so bar food.

Best comedy club I've been to. The atmosphere, service, food, and drinks are all excellent and they get big talent here. They do require that you order any two items minimum, but prices are reasonable and quality is good.

Went to the Hans Kim show last weekend and apparently a computer was down so they couldn't take orders? Everyone at the club had to just have water. No food No drinks!? This didn't make sense cause I was willing to pay in cash for a beer but apparently the manager said they couldn't do any transactions even cash? Not sure who's running this place but I can't imagine how much money they lost that night. Hans was funny but I'm sure the show would have been better with a drink or two.

Bacon Blue Burger was fantastic!! Quick service! The fries are a perfect blend of crispy outside and soft inside.

Great show. Drinks are pretty decent for a comedy clubs. Nachos were actually relatively loaded and weren't too short on toppings. Burgers were also decently. I had a good laugh during the set. Would definitely come back

Hella cool place! Had a great time! Good isn’t that great but go there for drinks and the show! Christopher Titus was hilarious!

We always have fun at the shows! The two drink minimum used to bother me. Now it’s not so bad. I totally understand the reason behind it but sometimes I want a cheap night out too! Honestly though, every time we have gone the kitchen has been too busy for us to get food. Always convinced by staff to not as the kitchen is always backed up. Last show we went to people got their order 3 minutes before the show ended and they stuck around with the ugly lights on trying to finish their meal. They have seating on lock. They have a good system at the door for seating. You ARE crammed in on top of each other sharing tables with strangers even if the show hasn’t sold out. Which I find strange. At least let people have room when there’s only half a crowd present. But! This all sounds like I’m complaining when in reality this comedy club is one of the best!

Really fun. The food was cold and okay, but for bar food it was ideal. The cocktails were sweet and a bit much, but who cares, we were laughing like crazy. The comedy was good. It’s great to get out and have a laugh. We’ll come back, for sure. Thanks!

I went to see Brad Upton with 2 of my girlfriends. He is one of our fav local comedians. We were running a little late and thought the doors would be locked and we couldn't get in after 7pm (showtime) so I was dropped off so the other two could park and I could make sure we all got in. They don't lock doors if your late. Good to know! I got a table and waited till my friends arrived and during the 20 minute wait, I wasn't even asked if I wanted a glass of water. They didn't take any orders until my other friends sat. I could have ordered and had the food and drinks all ready by the time they sat down or I could have at least had a glass of water. That's my only complaint. The show was great and of course we had to get a pic with Brad!

Typical bar fare, but top flight entertainment. If you like being entertained with comedy, you have only wait until you see who's coming around. But when you get headliners, get your tickets reserved. Spots go fast. Just saw Brad Williams; Great Show. If you're in the area, like comedy, this is the place. Big enough to feel like you are in the crowd, but small enough to be a part of the experience.

Came for a comedy show and it was the most smooth evening I've ever had! Food was great, there wasn't a line to enter, bathrooms were nice, the set was awesome, and overall I would come here again in a heartbeat. Thank you TCC for the incredible night!

Nice staff and good place to see a comedy show. Was there to see Troy Bond with friends. Opening act was terrible. Food was delicious. Staff was fantastic and helpful! A suggestion: please serve water, too. Especially for those of us who drove all the way on a weeknight to visit.

I started going here about few years ago at least couple of times a year mainly for comedy shows. It's a great place and environment, wonderful staff. I don't eat beef and pork, I wish they had chicken burger option on the menu. I would highly recommend this spot!

  • 4/5 Stacy N. 2 years ago on Google
I wish that the servers wouldn't cash out while the show is still going on towards the end. It interrupts the comedian. I feel like I miss a good 5 minutes of the set. Not sure how to remedy that, but maybe do cashing out before the last act by pausing before last act is on. ? Otherwise, everything is great. They bring in great comedians/talent. Beverages and food are tasty.

Always a great option for live entertainment. Tacoma Comedy Club books top tier talent. Brad Williams however is a must see. Track him down and go see him, he is an amazing entertainer with cutting edge comedy. I look forward to seeing him as soon as I can again. This club is well run. I have enjoyed many evenings here happy and truly fulfilled with the high level comedians that roll through Tacoma. 🌄

Never have we ever had anything but good times and great service at the Tacoma Comedy Club. We're frequent visitors and enjoy the comedians. We have purchased everything from the Gold package to just the regular General Admission tickets and there's not a bad seat in the house. The menu is limited but great food, last night I enjoyed the Dope Show with my husband and the Bacon Cheddar fries were delicious! If you have not been to the venue, you really should check it out for yourself. You can be as casual or dressy as you like and the staff and security will still treat you like a VIP. One last thing to mention is that the price for a night of food and entertainment is quite affordable and well spent plus parking is easy to find right on the street.

Tim meadows was excellent. Food was just okay. I recommend the fried pickles, which took 20 minutes to arrive during happy hour and I had to go up and make sure they were coming, which they weren’t. Bartender could have done better on the specialty cocktails in my opinion. Cool vibe and a great date night. I got the gold package and it was a decent value.
