Solid Thai Food with good quantities. The crispy chicken fried rice had an incredible amount of chicken. The fried rice was good but was more Chinese than Thai to me. Thai has that wonderful wok crispness and fish sauce/lime flavor. The Tom Kha Soup was excellent though. I would order again when visiting town next time. Great price to quality ratio

We tried the dumplings for an appetizer and they were delicious! We got 3 entrees; fried rice with crunchy chicken, curry, and pad Thai. It was all delicious. They were not very busy because we went between lunch/dinner but food was fresh and so good! We will be back.

The food at Sawasdee Thai was top notch. We started our dinner with the Thai dumplings and the Thai Cajun Fried Eggplant. Both were excellent. I got the druken noodles with shrimp medium heat. My son got the Panang Curry with seafood with extra hot heat. We had to switch entrees because someone swapped the heat levels to our respective dishes. The drunken noodles were so hot I could not eat them. The Panang Curry dish was just the right amount of spiciness. I did find the service slow. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant. It took quite a while for our appetizers to arrive at our table. Then it was another substantial wait for our entrees. I did notice quite a few take out orders going out the door. We were not in a hurry so it was not a big issue for us. We will definitely return as the food is worth the wait.

I was very happy with my recent delivery order from Sawasdee Thai Restaurant! The drunken noodles were outstanding.. packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. The portion was so generous that it served as a lunch for the next day as well. The ease of delivery combined with the quality and quantity of the food makes this place a definite go-to for authentic Thai cuisine. Highly recommended!

I have eaten lunch at Sawasdee a few times. The food was pretty good, but not the best Thai I've had. I would try again, but there are other Thai Restaurants around that I'm consistently pleased with. Prices were reasonable, but the service was a bit slower than I would like for lunch time.

First time visiting tonight, was a small interior with really beautiful pieces of decor. All of our food was plated skillfully and was served by friendly staff, delicious sizeable portions were boxed up for us, but most importantly thank you to one of our waiters who so kindly gave my girlfriend a mango and sticky rice dessert for her birthday. I eat Thai food every chance I get and must say the food here was superb, fast, fresh, and delicious. Service was excellent. Will be back.

After our flight into New Orleans we were starving, we decided to hit up Sawasdee for dinner, and man are we glad we did. I am an official sampler of Red Curry in this country (my unofficial title) and I was not left wanting. The tofu was cooked perfectly, the curry was delicious and the service was great! Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Our 3rd time getting takeout from Sawasdee, Panang with shrimp is savory with a gentle spicy kick with a greet balance of other spices. The shrimp are a good size but I’ll order extra in the future because I like leftovers of this. I’m not a fan of the chicken but they do add more chicken than shrimp if you’re looking for the most protein for your money. Crab Rangoons are made with a delicate and crispy dumpling with a really unique filling blend and come with a clear dipping sauce that goes perfectly together. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Thai House Fried Rice is meh….missing something to include heat and we have asked for level 4. Needs a side of cucumbers added to it once they level of heat gets better.

This was by far the best Thai food I’ve had- EVER. Highly recommend supporting this business. Every bite had a new exploding flavor and they have so many affordable options. Plenty of seating and very kind staff.
