Excellent quality seafood!!!! Very friendly staff and good service too. Owner personally offered to make me an alternative when I wanted boudain balls but they were out. Our food came out hot and fresh and SO much that even two of us couldn't finish it!! Crawfish was amazing!! This is our new spot for seafood for sure.

This is a seafood market and restaurant. There is something for everyone in my opinion. The charbroiled oysters were awesome. I got fried meat pies that were a little bit over cooked for my liking but that’s OK. The gravy was awesome and the filling was spot on. The ambience of this family owned restaurant is really great and the mural on the back wall is awesome of Lake Pontchartrain.

We ordered a ton of food. Nothing had seasoning or spice! We wasted so much money and food. This was my boys first experience with Cajun/Creole food. They were not impressed and I looked like a liar lol

They are crazy nice and I love their boiled seafood. They don't have a menu for it yet but you can call and ask like I did. They'll even teach you how to peel your shells. It's definitely a nice and welcoming place.

Small little restaurant but provided a feast of delicious seafood. We ordered a fried seafood platter, boiled shrimp and grilled oysters. Everything was excellent. Boiled shrimp were a little bit soft for our taste. This usually means they were in the boil to long. Overall the food is worth stopping for. Staff was friendly and prompt.

Would NOT RECOMMEND! I called to try and place an order for a sack of crawfish for my dad to pickup tomorrow morning to transport to Florida for me. I called 6 times, the first time they answered and were going to put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called 5 more times, the last time they answered again. Put me on "hold" which I could hear a whole conversation about a new customer that was complaining about their food that him and his wife ordered that was raw and inedible. Poor customer service. Doesn't sound like their food is very good and may make you sick. So disappointed, as I was really looking forward to being able to cook some crawfish for my kids for the first time.

First time at this establishment, purchased the Lunch Shrimp, Hush Puppies, and a Fountain Drink. Spent about $20, could have been about $15 but wanted to get them hush puppies. There's a little market area to purchase fresh seafood and next to that there's an ordering food window. The young lady greeted me upon entering and was very courteous in taking my order. Contrary to some of the previous reviews, I'm glad the young folk are working during the summer and not out causing trouble. It's also a responsible choice given that it's not cheap buying items to be somewhat trendy. We did it when we were young but it's very expensive now-a-days especially with all the technology out there. They had your typical soda selection and sweet, unsweetened tea plus watermelon lemonade. Made an unsweetened Arnold Palmer with the watermelon lemonade and I'd have to say I was not disappointed. The food came out shortly after taking my seat. It was hot and cooked just right. The shrimp was a decent size and the breading was delicious not like others I've had. The hush puppies were NOT overcooked or hard. They were crisp exterior and a soft moist flavorful inside. The restaurant could use a good cleaning. Not sure if they're not preparing the mop water correctly but it seemed to have sticky sounding floors and could use a sweeping. I would return to have lunch or try their dinner selection. I did return because I thought i was overcharged but I wasn't. Didn't receive an itemized receipt so I wasn't sure. When I return to bring it up to the cashier, a different young lady was there, equally as courteous and checked for accuracy and reprinted the receipt. I forget how lunches have increased in price and sometimes you pay for the drink. Which in this case, it's not included with the lunch plate. Which is fine, they have to make a living too and pay their workers. Overall I am satisfied.

This place is great! We ordered a fried shrimp poboy and a fried shrimp plate. The servings were huge, and everything was cooked to perfection. We did not wait long at all for the food to come out; It was hot and delicious! The staff is polite and friendly. We will be making the trip back here!

Stopped in on Mother’s Day to buy a few pounds of crawfish and a dozen boiled crabs to eat at home. We were at another close by seafood market but they didn’t have any crabs after waiting in line for over 30 mins. I’m so glad we went to Pearls because now I’ve found a new spot for good boiled crabs “they were delicious” and we had friendly service. We had a few people before us but the lady acknowledged us by saying she would be right with us. This place was nice and seemed like family restaurant. I have to come back to dine in one day.

Best casual place for scrumptious seafood- fresh, cooked to perfection . Sounds funny, but they play the best 70’s rock music in background. I hsve had fresh crabs, crawfish, fried okra, oysters, shrimp, , French fries ( the best) and a friend loved their burger! It ain’t fancy but it sure is tasty. The staff are pleasant as is the owner. Just a great neighborhood place!

Will never come back here. The food was dry and unimpressive. The boil, was in fact not a boil. My husband asked for a refund and they said “we don’t do refunds.” That was no where advertised. Worst “boil” in Louisiana. Indianas boil makes this look like chum. No seasoning, no butter, no fatty heart attack that I was looking for. Dry STEAMED mess. Not a boil. As Randy Jackson would say “It’s a no from me dawg.”

We ate there Friday evening. Everything was delicious. We started off with appetizer sizzling shrimp served in a cute little cast iron skillet with french bread to sop up the most amazing garlic butter sauce. The wife got the crab balls with remoulade sauce. You could tell they were freshly rolled and not frozen stuff. The best is the soft shell crab dinner that I got. Never imagined the crabs would be so huge !! Fried perfectly. Served with salad and fries. A truly great experience. And the owner is a real sweetheart. Will be back soon.

Lunch was great & we got our orders quickly, tho it was midday on a Sunday. Ordered 1/2 shrimp Poboy with corn & crab bisque, and the fried oysters lunch platter with fried okra. Everything was outstanding - tho the bisque could have had a little more crab meat in it. But the shrimp & oysters were very fresh, and everything was perfectly fried. Definitely recommend.

I was craving a soft shell crab, googled and this place came up! Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and clean establishment. I ordered the large plate which had 2 soft shell crabs and 2 sides, wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw but everyone’s taste is different. Soft shells were a nice size but a tad bit to much breading and crunchy for me, but great flavor ! I’ll definitely go back and see if they can Saute’ them. Great find in Slidell ! I noticed on my receipt which I never look at and saw a non cash add fee which I find a bit much. In the world of direct deposit why should the consumer have to pay and added fee, businesses need to work out their fees from cc companies.

We got the shrimp boat in the loaf of bread and seafood gumbo and chicken and sausage gumbo. All would be a 5 star but the sausage and chicken gumbo was not hot enough and after warmed up…was okay. But we will eat here again!!! The loaf of bread that the held the shrimp was sooo good.

  • 1/5 陳琬平 7 months ago on Google
The chicken gumbo was luke warm and the rice was hard. The batter on the oyster and soft shell crab is very thick and hard. This the worst food in our two months trip around the US. Also, the price is not cheap compared to the food we had. I noticed customers left a fair sizeable quantity of food on their plates when they left.

👍👍 This spot was recommended by our swamp tour captain. Wow! We ordered 3 pounds of crawfish and the ordered another pound. We got an oyster plate too. The oysters were larger than chicken nuggets!! The staff was friendly and service was quick. A great experience for us.
