In Palm Springs for a few days so managed to catch the last of the season concerts in the park. A rock concert in the park and free… Very warm evening but once the shade appeared, it became more comfortable. Only saw the one concession stand.

What a beautiful city park. Went today for Holocaust Remembrance Day in the Coachella Valley. Fantastic hour service with multiple speakers including survivors. We will never forget!

The most beautiful park in Coachella Valley! Our Coachella Valley HS Health Academy volunteered @ American Heart Walk and Walk to End Alzheimers. It's a great day to help!

Online pictures simply can't do this place justice. You need to see it in person. Wild turtles roaming during certain times of the year.

We love coming to this park as there is so much space. There are picnic tables, rotundas, Pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, outdoor entertainment ponds ducks all sorts of great stuff. There are four baseball diamonds which are well used during the season and it’s fantastic to watch the kids play under the shades of the tree. In the main season there is bands and entertainment in the entertainment area. There’s also plenty of parking here, with a recharge station for electric vehicles. The main YMCA rec center is in the middle with indoor volleyball courts, a small gym, basketball courts and other activities for kids

Concerts in the Park is a great event that Palm Desert puts on! The venue is outdoor with amphitheater style grass seating. Family friendly with a good amount of Citizen On Patrol security as a few sheriffs. No smoking or drinking allowed. The band AMFM was incredible. Playing back to back songs like a machine! They played though top 40 hits of old school and today! Would definitely recommend this band and I can't wait until next week to see what talent comes out.

We come here often our children love to come and see the turtles and feed the ducks. they always ask to go to the Duck park. You have to bring your own food now they removed the duck food dispensers. They have a memorial way. This park has a lot of different areas for parties.

Live the park! All the picnic areas have misters. They have a huge walking path the goes through the playground, turtle pounds all the way to the baseball fields. The playground is fun, the aquatic center is also amazing with zero depth pool with water slides. They also have a small indoor gym for $5 daily. All in all a great place for the whole family ! Great community place !

The civic park is really a fantastic community park…. It just about has everything you need from a well kept and super clean park. 4 great baseball fields , bbq areas, lake with fish, ducks and turtles, skate park, YMCA , basketball courts, beach volleyball, 2 dog parks and a bunch of parking… so many things and great walking paths… we love this park, especially when their are concerts in the amphitheater.

We are from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely park. We walked by the tennis courts, aquatic area where a class was taking place, the baseball diamonds, the bird pond. We can't wait to come back to enjoy the beauty of Palm Desert's great outdoors!

We took my God Daughter to one of our favorite parks. Civic Center Park is always a favorite spot for our Family. We always enjoy seeing all the ducks and walking by the lake. There were lots of turtles in the water and in the bank of the lake. The weather was absolutely beautiful. If your looking for a place to take the kids for a fun afternoon, visit Civic Center Park

This park is gigantic. There are two playgrounds, one for the younger kids and one for kids older than 5. This is a very clean park. They have fields for base ball, volleyball, and so much more. Tennis courts and basketball courts. There are restrooms and are clean. Many people bring their dogs to the park with them. Their picnic table are placed perfectly so parents can sit near the playgrounds and still have an eye on their children. It has a duck lake, and there are turtles there, too. There are also party areas that can be rented. The sprinklers turn on during the day, and kids play in the water.

My absolute favorite place to walk my dogs. I like coming here because they don't say anything about my nude yoga religious practice when I come here really early in the morning. Perfect place for yoga meditation and contemplation. Tank you 🤩

Expansive public park with many activities including baseball fields, playground, ponds full of birds and turtles, swim center, basketball courts, EV charging, dog parks, skateboard park, picnic tables, walking trails, community center, sculptures, amphitheater, restrooms, volleyball courts, tennis courts, etc. Occasionally local musicians are even practicing their craft.

Definitely one of my favorite parks in the area. Very beautiful. I have had fault photos taken here and they turned out great. The pond is a great place to sit and relax and watch the ducks. Or use the walking path to take a stroll around the park. There is a dog park, a playground, picnic area, tennis courts, volleyball court, just tons of different amenities.

Love it here , mostly here for the chargers but it is very lively and a great place with multiple things to do . There is a pond with a lot of ducks . They are very friendly . Please don't feed them , you will get in trouble by the grounds staff. There is plenty of parking as there are multiple buildings and connected to the college next door . Great place for a run and overall pleasantries. Bring masks for the indoor stuff ! For my EV folks , there are about six or so level two chargers and three D.C . One of two of D.C.the charge point cables isn't operable . The EV go charger is pay to charge while the charge point and all other level 2 chargers are free . One of the charge point level 3 is not working. They have a sign up saying they've ordered the parts but haven't.

Lots of fun things to do here with the family. Skating, skateboarding, baseball, tennis, volleyball, football and so much more. There's a playground for the little ones, Amphitheater for concerts, a few duck ponds and lot of open space. There's also BBQ pits and picnic tables as well as a public pool and a dog park.

Beautiful 'oasis' in the middle of the city. Such a restful and relaxing park. Loved the overall design. All the ducks and the turtles were fun to watch and the artwork was a great touch.
