Moved back here in 2021. Maintenance is still good but that’s about it. The pool was down most of the summer because it needed repair. The leasing staff aren’t that responsive when you have issues. There’s always some new people in the unit under me every few weeks or months it seems and they all bring a new set of issues being overly noisy after 10/11pm(slamming things, screaming loudly, etc) I was actually very close to calling U City PD on them several times that’s how obnoxious it was. & as of this week we have a SMOKER in the building - when the buildings are supposed to be SMOKE FREE. The smell is coming into our unit and it is disgusting. Who even smokes cigarettes in 2023? I wrote management about it and I’m not sure if they even came by or said anything to these people. I don’t feel like any rules are enforced here. Now my unit reeks of nasty cigarettes. My roommate has severe asthma which has now been triggered by the sick second hand smoke of a self absorbed nicotine addict so we will deal with those issues further when the time comes. We are unsure about renewing here next year unless we really have to. If we do only for another year. The community and the management is not what it used to be. It seems like the only time they want to act on things is when you reach out to corporate. Maybe I’ll just have to do that from now on when I have issues. I would say this would be a good apartment for starters. The space for the price isn’t that great you can get more for the same in the area. & with all the new builds popping up across/down the street this community will need to do better to stay competitive. All in all I rated so low due to the enforcement of rules here and the responsiveness of staff when issues arises. Update: Resident services reached out and are in contact with me about the issues.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! RUN!! These are the worst apartments in Saint Louis. I’ve found mold multiple times in my apartment that has caused heath problems, the paint is do caked up on the walls some of my doors wouldn’t even close completely. My front door had never closed properly which is a major safety concern. I had multiple bug incidents, dealing with thin thin thin walls, the walls are so caked up in filthy heavy coats of paint you can’t even clean the walls. Washing machines are trash. Keisha in the leasing office is unprofessional and needs to be fired. I don't know how she could be a manager, she’s is rude and nonchalant. I don’t know how this property is still leasing to people. RUN!!!!

We moved here just one and a half months back and we are already regretting that we moved here. Our washer was broken and never working and we filed a maintenance request before one month. But the only fix they have done so far is cleaning the drainage and removing the accumulated stagnant water using one of our storage buckets. This did not fix our washer. Then they have even removed our maintenance request. I went to the office multiple times and the management crew was really bad and rude. I told one member of the office to expedite the washer fix since the cold season is coming and his response was "Don't try to teach me how to do my job." Do you ever expect someone at your service to respond you like this when you request a service? Please people who don't live here or haven't experienced the reality, don't leave good reviews and five stars for their rewards. Don't fall for this hell hole.

I recently went on a tour of The District Apartments, and I must say, it left a great impression on me. Shannon, our tour guide, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. She provided valuable insights into the property and answered all of our questions with patience and knowledge. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism made the tour enjoyable and informative. The apartments themselves were well-maintained, and the amenities were impressive. Overall, my visit to The District Apartments was fantastic, thanks in large part to Shannon's assistance. I'm seriously considering making this my future home. Send a message

The leasing office staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, making me feel valued as a potential resident. The property was well maintained and staged very well to give me a better idea of what my future home would look like. It was a very refreshing experience compared to other agencies!

Met with Shannon who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the complex. You can tell she really care about the residents, & prospect residents. She works hard, and doing a great job at it. Walked in on current residents who were having some issues. Most of the issues are out of her control but she is doing the best she can at resolving & taking care of the things she can control. & For that I appreciate her. She definitely deserves a raise! Thanks for you help Shannon.

I live at the district apartments in 2017 and absolutely loved it. Its perfect for those of us with fur kids. After living at another local apartment complex for nearly 7 years I am returning to The District apartments. The neighborhood is excellent, their fitness center is very nice and clean. You feel safe walking your dog around the neighborhood and visiting 1 of the 2 dog parks. The location right off the highway gives you quick and easy access to anywhere in saint louis.

First apartment on my own. So cute and I love the area! Feels so safe and cozy, definitely doesn't feel like you're minutes from the city. Maintenance is veryyyy slow and takes weeks to get to work orders. Have to put in multiple requests for them to actually come.
