We loved our experience at Top Notch in downtown St. Louis. Kenny and Dakota were amazing to work with! We had so much fun from throwing axes to stars to cards. The music really added to the experience and Kenny was playing some good jams! He’s also an expert photographer and captured some fun poses for us! Definitely would go back.

First time and had a blast! Kenny was great teaching us and helping us step up our game! Can’t wait to come back!

Five stars! Ziggy, Kenny, and Ethan were THE BEST! So professional, they made sure we were all safe and had lots of fun! Great DJ skills and they danced with us too! Most fun I’ve had axe throwing EVER. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Our first time trying this in St. Louis. They were wonderful! Axe Master Ben was very helpful. He showed us how to throw axes, stars, and playing cards. He helped us when we struggled. There were games to play and target practice! There is soda and water if you get thirsty. We played for about 1 hour and 30 mins. We were all throwing decent by the end of the night. We found parking in a parking garage $2.00 an hour and was not that far to walk. I would go back again!

We always have a great time here. It's good for a date, family time, kids, group of friends etc. Staff is pretty helpful, they have a decent variety of knives, axes, hatches, and other items to try and throw. I've taken dates here as well as my children. Good for all ages. Very expensive but you'll have fun.

What a great time. Whole family had such a wonderful time. We threw axes, stars, cards. Staff was great! You can bring your own beer in! We would do it again anytime. If you are in the area make sure you take a few hours and check it out! Short walk from the Arch.. . Thanks for a great time!

Husband took me there for my birthday and it was so much fun! I highly recommend Kenny who works there. He was super friendly and helpful since we're deaf. He also took his time to take couple funny pictures.

We were walking to go to the arch and passed Top Notch. I had never done this and my friend had only done it once. I'll admit, I was hesitant. I wasn't sure what the hype was about and a little scared to be honest. I have seriously never had more fun in my life!! Kenny was incredible! He shows you how to do it, then helps you if he notices a way you can improve. I didn’t think we would even make it 30 minutes, we had so much fun we ended up staying for an hour and a half and could have easily stayed longer if we didn't have dinner plans! I don't ever buy merchandise and even bought a hat as we were leaving to always remember this place and how much fun it was. The hat will be my daily reminder to take a chance and say yes. Of course, I didn't want plain white lettering, so I spiced it up a bit once I got home 😉 If you were thinking about do it - DO IT!! If you are looking for something different to do - DO IT!!

We had an amazing time throwing axes! It was our first time. The you g man that helped us was the BEST! Couldn’t have started our spring break out any better!

This was our first time doing axe throwing and it was do fun. It only took us a few tries to get the hang of it since our instructor gave us some tips. Besides axes we got to throw stars and cards. The games they had were fun and simple to learn. We had just randomly walked by and stopped to ask for prices and the price was reasonable and lower than I expected.

Had the pleasure of meeting keeny today he was very nice and gave awesome direction. Oh I forgot he was a good Dj!!! We will be back!!!

Definitely more than it seemed. We were worried we'd be throwing just axes for an hour and a half but to our surprise there were additional items and games to be played. Staff were amazing and kind. I definitely will be back with family and friends. The facility allows you to bring your own food and alcohol (beer, malt, and wine). Definitely a fun outing for a group of friends!!

This place is awesome! Our axe master was Cody and he was a blast. This is not only fun but a great stress relief. There are games you can play and you can even do balloon target practice. Definitely will be going back.

Awesome time. We were definitely not disappointed. Once we had time to practice our throwing techniques, we were introduced to different games to take the activity to another level. Kenny made our first time axe throwing an AMAZING experience. Very personable, helpful, and overall seemed to enjoy what he does and the city of St. Louis. 10 out of 10 Recommend.

We had a wonderful time throwing. Our host Kenny was amazing and very helpful. He took his time and showed each of us how to properly throw and he was super polite. We will definitely be back in the near future.

We had so much fun here for my son’s birthday. It was a snowy day that came out of nowhere. Kenny called to let us know he was going to be a little late. He was stuck in the snow. It was nice to know if we were a little late it would be okay because the heavy snow came from nowhere. We weren’t prepared for it. Kenny was so helpful teaching my boys how to throw the axes. He checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were all comfortable. I would highly recommend going to this location. Kenny was kind, welcoming, helpful, informative, and had great communication. Thank you for a wonderful day celebrating our sons birthday.

We had such a wonderful experience with Kenny. No need to be an expert or even a beginner when you walk in the door. He taught us the basics, then kept the party going with new tips and tricks throughout our experience. We will be back!

If you would have “axe-d” me if this activity could get isn’t better.. I would have shrugged and said if you’ve axe’em once, you’ve axed’em a million times. And I would have been wrong! This experience is both fun and safe for both parties of two (dates) and group outings! Clean, spacious, and uniquely creative the hosts, including all-star Kenny were well informed and taught us both the basics and some tricks when it comes to throwing axes. What makes this location different, outside of being located downtown is they also incorporate a wide variety of games AND the ability to throw ninja stars (shuriken), metal playing cards, and darts! Love this place and shout out to Kenny + Top Notch Axe Throwing for hosting our team building event and showing us a GREAT time!

Great time! First time trying are throwing and it was a thrill. Very straightforward and simple explanation from the worker (Kenny) and he was very chill and laid back. Made us feel comfortable and safe. Was accommodating, funny and great demeanor. Big props to Kenny, overall great experience will be coming back again.

My friends and I had a great time at Top Notch Axe Throwing. The space was clean and inviting. I loved that we could bring our own food in. The guy who worked there (I can't remember his name) was welcoming and friendly. He did a great job explaining safety factors and ways to make the most of our throws. He also took great photos of us when we asked; even suggesting fun posses for us. Highly recommended!

I participated as part of a team building day. I really didn't want to at first - I felt it would be difficult and tiring. I'm a small-framed person. The staff was amazing and helped guide me to a distance and stance that would be successful for my size. Once I got the hang of it, I found myself enjoying it. The staff kept the experience interesting by introducing new elements throughout our time there. Once we engaged in a few fun, team-spirited games, I was hooked.

What a fun experience!! Philip Johnson Salon and Spa held our team building event here over the weekend and we had such a great time. We all encouraged each other to step outside of our comfort zones (some of us were really nervous). By the end we were all pros lol. There are games to play which let us have a little friendly competition. Kenny, who works there was amazing. He took the time to show us everything and took time out with individuals to make sure we were having fun and getting the hang out it. Business owners if you are looking for some out of the box team building you should definitely try top notch downtown!

Our company came here for an after work social and it was a ton of fun. Perfect location for us downtown near where we work and we were able to bring food and drinks! Looking forward to coming back or trying out the escape room next time.

The experience was much more fun than I thought it would be! I got in right away with no wait and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable! Adam was an excellent teacher on the throwing basics, so I was able to learn the correct techniques right away and throw consistently.

This was a perfect date if you’re looking for something fun to do. Kenny was amazing! It was my first time but my husband has been a few times. Kenny made sure my husband didn’t beat me too bad by showing me how to make good shots for each game we played. We will definitely be coming back with friends!

Tonight was date night for me and my fiancé! And Kenny was the best!!!!! This was our first time and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a blast! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Kenny was awesome. He showed us how to throw axes, cards, ninja stars, and darts at balloons. He even came over to give pointers on my form because I wasn’t doing so good. A ton of fun and he played great music. You can bring you own beer which is great! Took a date there and we were planning to just stop in and ended up spending hours because it was fun! He told us how to get back to where we parked our car. He truly went above and beyond and we will be back!

This was SO much fun! We were a little worried at first that axe throwing may not be all it was hyped up to be, but we gave it a chance and had a BLAST! Kenny, our instructor, was informative, attentive and kept us on our toes! He always had something to bring to the table that made it a bit more interesting than before. We got competitive and definitely had our inner children brought back to life. We will be back!!

Not your average night on the town. Robin and her crew were great She worked with us to make sure we knew what we were doing and have a great time. Friendly atmosphere and very clean. Top Notch experience!

Kenny and Ziggy were so awesome with our party! There are more than just axes to be thrown. We had a variety of items to choose from: Axes, stars, cards, darts for balloons. We had a dance party and did different slides. You can bring your own booze and get snacks from the convenience store next door. We will definitely be back!

My friends and I came here for a baccalaureate day and we had a ton of fun! The staff was so friendly and professional! They showed us how to throw the axes and stars. Safety and having fun are definitely the two most important qualities here!

So so much fun. We had Kenny. He was so helpful teaching us and just was so happy. We all started dancing together. Haha. I highly recommend. So many things to do. It was great!!
