Sandy
Creek
Covered
Bridge
State
park
is
a
small,
picturesque
destination
that
highlights
the
history
of
covered
bridges.
It
is
one
of
four
covered
bridges
left
in
the
state
of
Missouri!
You
can
walk
across
the
bridge,
splash
in
the
creek
below,
enjoy
the
trails
and
picnic
area.
There
are
also
informational
displays
that
offer
insight
into
the
construction
and
history
of
covered
bridges.
Please
note
that
this
park
is
small
in
size.
So,
if
you
are
looking
for
a
full
day
of
activities,
you
may
want
to
combine
your
visit
with
nearby
attractions.
Tip:
We
combined
our
trip
to
here
with
a
trip
to
Mastodon
State
Historic
Site,
which
is
about
a
20-25
minute
drive
away.
All
in
all,
this
small
state
park
is
a
small
step
back
in
time
and
worth
the
visit!
