Pagaralam's
favorite
restaurant.
Serving
various
menus:
rice,
noodles,
chicken,
fish,
duck.
The
price
is
slightly
more
expensive
than
other
restaurants
in
Pagaralam,
but
it
tastes
better
and
consistent.
The
most
popular
menu
is
tauco
cooked
duck.
Tauco
is
paste
made
from
preserved
fermented
soybeans,
used
as
flavoring
in
Chinese-Indonesian
cuisine.
Besides
being
cooked
with
tauco,
duck
dishes
at
Resto
88
are
also
cooked
in
various
ways,
such
as
black
pepper
duck.
This
restaurant
is
always
crowded
with
visitors,
especially
on
weekends.
There
is
a
spacious
'lesehan'
seating,
with
fishpond
view,
suitable
for
visitors
who
bring
family
and
children.
Owned
by
Chinese
Christians,
however
Resto
88
does
not
serve
pork
menus,
only
halal
dishes,
and
has
a
clean
and
comfortable
musholla.
A
characteristic
of
Indonesian
tolerance
for
diversity.
A
must
be
visited
place
if
you
are
traveling
to
Pagaralam.
