My parents live here, and my grandparents did too in their time. I've spent a lot of time here and helped out with a number of projects my parents have been involved in. The best thing to say about Lake Region is that it's a real community. There's tons of things happening, lots of clubs and events. Lots of opportunity for people to get to know each other and be social. The grounds are gorgeous, and their facilities range from pretty nice to excellent. They have their own water treatment which is fantastic. There is the $35k deposit, but you get that back if you leave so it's really just to set a bar for entry. Beyond that, the monthly service charges and cable/internet packages are the lowest you'll see anywhere around. I looked. The place seems really well run. It's very clean, everything works and is well maintained. And other than the highway noise up front it's very quite with water all around and a huge field that the park owns flanking it.

It's very hard to get rid of your garbage here. They got there own thing going on here with that. Can't have deliveries come in trucks to your home if they not to their specs. Overpriced and the area is just ok not great. People here are a little off.

Scenery is magnificent. Excellent for photographers. Almost love the place for a couple of weeks out of the year. Only four stars because I'm opinionated that it is too hot for me most of the time. But that's not the fault of Lake Region Village. The place itself is well-kept, lots of activities, decent management, all neighbors are friendly, and if you move in then most likely you'll have extremely friendly and helpful neighbors. Excellent place for retirement but only if you don't mind high temperatures. If you are like me, plan on leaving your air conditioner on 24/7 for 360 days of the year.

Not just a place to live but an unhealthy lifestyle. Got get rid of garbage here only let it move in. Yan kee town too.

Beautiful retirement village.

The maintenance here is horrible, the pool deck is disgusting the bathrooms have broken toilets for months the hand rail covers are falling apart, the head of maintenance is totally clueless to what needs to be done, signs with mold, pool house ceiling needs painted this is just a couple of things, most of the day the maintenance guys are just driving around doing nothing and it shows, they close the pool for the 1st Thursday of each month and basically don't do anything 😭 ants All over the pool deck and they have been told about this many times.

This has got to be the best place to live. Awesome people. Tons of stuff to do. Be prepared to make a lot of friends even you come here.
