Beautiful park! Free parking, stroll friendly walk and restrooms along the way. I love taking our children here to explore and socialize. Along the way there are different parks/slide areas for the children to play. Also from time to time there are volunteers that are knowledgeable about what the trees and plants are. The views are gorgeous between the foliage and the lagoon there's always something to see. We even saw a gator along our stroll by the lagoon! There is also a Starbucks in the first building with restrooms and a family restroom to use that is big enough for a double stroller! Also keep a eye out for when they show movies outside!

Spectacular and in a years time when all the trees, plants and lake areas have become well established it will only be better. The grass hills are delightful to roam and on the day of the grand opening the highest point had lovely kites flying! The man-made amenities are excellently constructed. The buildings, walkways and boardwalks are excellent especially the winding elevated walkway. There are multiple playgrounds including a small canal with hand pumps where the water flow can be controlled by the kids as it moves along the channel. There is a tree house, green house and a butterfly enclosure. There is lots more yet to see and if you are located a long way away it is a destination worthy of the time it may take to get there. You could spend the whole day exploring the park and not run out of sights to see!

This park was amazing, we spent the whole day. Parking is completely free and they have a tram that take you all over the park which is great. Playground they are so many that the kids enjoy, their favorite was the owl. Our favorite park was the barefoot trail it was amazing feeling the sand and water and the kids even found clay. The restrooms are clean and employees are super friendly. You can take a wagon if you have one because the sidewalk are big enough and there is so much to do. I will recommend taking extra clothes for kids and snack/ water but in case you forget they have a cafe area where you can buy food and snacks. They also have a butterfly garden. It was a must see for us, i truly recommend visiting the park if you are able.

This is one of nicest parks I have visited in Florida. Very clean and well maintained. The park is stroller and wheelchair accessible throughout including the nature trails. The park is big enough to spend few hours easily going around it. There is a long board walk around the beautiful lake offering some amazing views. They have built few play areas such that wherever you go around the park you kids can have some fun in the play area. There is a visitor center, food options and multiple restrooms available. There is no admission fees to this beautiful park and there is a tram ride to go around the park. There is a children museum with admission fees. Plenty of parking available. Overall a must visit park.

I go here every week and absolutely adore this place. It's such a relaxing atmosphere and there are so many things to do here if you have little ones! They have a children's museum, a cafeteria, roof top bar, butterfly exhibit, a mini water park, and countless playgrounds! love how there are water stations throughout the whole park for people and dogs, It's a must in this Florida heat.🤣

Bonnet Springs Park is a gem for Lakeland. Incredible job by the local government, private businesses, and the community. Bonnet Springs Park has an abundance of beautiful and wide walking trails. There are stations along the way to get out of the sun, and a tram for those who are too exhausted to walk. The bathroom facilities are clean and spread throughout the park. There are also two restaurants, one for fast food and the other a cafe. This is a great place to take children as it is safe and there is plenty for small children to do. Parking is good but may be challenging for large events.

Visiting Bonnet Springs and I was not disappointed! A lot of it is free like the museum above the welcome center, the transportation around the park, each stop and more! Food, drink and gift shop is really the only places to pay. I was in a group of 12 and they had transportation big enough for us all and more! It's also wheelchair accessible and in every building there is an elevator if needed. I enjoyed this experience!

I wish I could give it 10+ stars! Bonnet Springs is absolute gem. Our expectations were completely exceeded. We spent an entire day walking around and enjoying all the amazingly beautiful nature, butterfly garden, green house, canopy walk, tree house & nature trails just to mention a handful of numerous activities throughout the park. Our kids truly enjoyed themselves even with the insane heat. We are planning our next visit when it gets a bit cooler.

Beautiful big park that's dog friendly. There are paved and boardwalk trails throughout. The boardwalk trail leads through wetlands to a viewing dock on the small lake . An elevated boardwalk trail leads through the trees. Lots of playgrounds, viewing areas and a butterfly garden. There's even a small creek your kids can explore. I can't wait to go back in the spring and summer when the gardens are in bloom.

There is so much to do with kids of all ages, it's wonderfully constructed. Lots of little parks, walks and a tree house. When it gets way too hot there's always the Florida Children's Museum so it's a win win. Be aware the museum gets very busy during the summer so come right at 10am.

New, expansive park. When you go be mindful of the heat. For young children you (WILL) need a stroller or cart. Be sure to take water, snacks, hats, sunscreen, and NERF balls. They do have concessions but while in the park you may have to walk some distance. Ideal place to visit late November - March.

Absolutely gorgeous! We took the family to the grand opening of Bonnet Springs Park. And boy! Talk about a massive park! Think "walking around busch gardens" big. They have playgrounds galore, a butterfly house, tree canopy boardwalks, nature discovery center, a lake with a viewing center, a giant tree house, "mountains"!, a wedding venue area, trails on trails on trails...I know I'm missing a bunch of other things! And it's free city park!!

A must see if you love nature and/or have young children. I loved everything about this park. It was totally worth the 1.5 hour drive from my home. To begin, entrance to the park and parking are free. They have golf cart shuttles available for tours of the park. Their grounds were nicely manicured and the park was impeccably clean. They have water fountains, restrooms and dog poop bags dispensers available throughout the property. They have areas for picnics or you can eat at one of their restaurants. We ate prior to our visit because we were not sure what to expect so did not try out any of the restaurants there but did see signs advertising happy hour for alcoholic drinks. My husband and I totally enjoyed our time there. We rode our bikes and got a great workout because the area is quite hilly.

So, the new park in Lakeland, Bonnet Springs Park, is huge! It has miles of walking trails, indoor aquariums with fish and reptiles, an outdoor kitchen and patio with picnic tables and a waterfall, a butterfly garden (which was awesome!), a greenhouse, lagoon where we watched them take the baby gator! And SO much more! Even a treehouse you can rent out for kids’ birthdays! It was a really fun little adventure. Definitely recommended for anyone, especially if you have kids!

What an incredible park! We celebrated its one-year anniversary with a fantastic movie night and a breathtaking fireworks display. Now, we're eagerly anticipating what the second anniversary will bring.

What an amazing public park. They have a children's museum, a couple of buildings where you can rent space to have parties and events and an enormous amount of trails including a canopy trail that takes you up into the trees. Just another reason to make Lakeland a place to visit on the weekend. As you walk through the park there are numerous little areas for kids to play slides built into the side of the hill full-blown areas with wet water zones. The welcome center has a Starbucks. This is an amazing place to spend an afternoon with your family pack a lunch enjoy and get a lot of walking in.

We absolutely love coming to this park! There is SO much space to run around and so many things to do. A nature center, tree house, fallen tree for climbing, multiple playgrounds….the list goes on. We love the convenient trams available for rides around the park. There’s a great little cafe you can stop in for lunch. They did an amazing job with this park!!

This place is pretty neat. It's obviously brand new and has a few rough edges to smooth out. But overall, it's a pretty fantastic place to either get some exercise in or enjoy some wide open spaces and nature with your family. I would recommend that whoever maintains this park spend some time eliminating some nuisance and exotic vegetation in the area and encouraging some desirable species, particularly in the wetland areas. I know the land that this park was built on has a sketchy past, from an environmental standpoint, and hopefully with some TLC all of the natural areas will bounce back to what they should look like.

Stumbled upon this place while in the area, and it's absolutely amazing. There is a lot to see as you walk around. The different walkways and paths are cool to explore, especially as you get closer to the lake area. I enjoyed visiting.

Wonderful park on the west side of Lakeland. Plenty of trails. Kids love the multiple playground areas, the childrens museum, and the open field. There are a few roof top playces for the adults to grab a drink for happy hour. Overall A++

Really nice park and great addition to Lakeland. We went on opening day so there was a lot of activity. This would be a great place for thr dogs. Nice paved paths weave all around the park. Lagoon area seems nice as well. The gardens and some items are yet to be finished. ✌️

A park that has something for everyone. If you want to bike or skate, a great blacktop with no cracks. So many sidewalks that lead you to something around every corner. Multiple play areas for the kids. A boardwalk by the water. A sky walk in the trees. The FL Children's Museum. A cafe with snacks and meals. A Wedding venue . A green house. Great place to walk early when it's cool.
