I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ethos Coffee at the Lakeland farmers market and I was blown away by the quality of their coffee. Not only was the flavor top-notch, but I was impressed to learn that they go above and beyond to source the best possible grains from small farmers. This not only ensures the highest quality coffee, but also has a huge positive impact on the lives of these farmers and the communities in which they live. By supporting small farmers and their communities, Ethos Coffee is helping to bring development and prosperity to these areas, and I feel good knowing that my coffee purchase is making a difference. The coffee itself was top-notch, with a wide range of flavors to choose from. But what really sets Ethos apart is their commitment to sourcing the best quality beans from small farmers. They are not only focused on producing great coffee, but also on generating a huge impact on the communities of these farmers. It's clear that they are truly dedicated to making a difference in the world. In addition to their commitment to quality and sustainability, I was also impressed to learn that the owners of Ethos Coffee are an immigrant couple who have kept the American dream alive. Both are highly educated, with one owner holding a Phd in food science and the other a MD. This level of expertise and dedication is evident in every cup of coffee made with Ethos top-quality grains, and it's clear that they are passionate about what they do. As I sipped my coffee and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of a cool day in Florida, I couldn't help but think that if Ethos had a themed song, it would be "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson. Like the song, the owners of Ethos are aiming to be the change they wish to see in the world. Overall, I highly recommend Ethos Coffee for anyone looking for top quality coffee with a conscience. From the delicious flavors to the positive impact they are making on small farmers and their communities, Ethos Coffee truly stands out in the crowded coffee market. Five stars all the way!

After a couple weeks of drinking the sampler pack I ordered, I can say I'm overall pleased with it. The pack came with some extras, which is appreciated, and each bag has distinct tasting notes when properly brewed. The only issue I've had is that at least two of the bags, which are lighter roasts, have a habit of clogging my grinder (Baratza Encore) which leads to it grinding much finer than intended and throwing off my extraction. This is the first time I've had this issue in five years or so of owning the grinder, and it's specific to these beans, so I can only assume it's due to the oil content or something similar that would cause clumping in the chute. Even if it over grinds I can throw it in my aeropress and salvage a decent cup. Not worth getting tilted and docking a star though, and I will probably order again in the future.

Wow..as a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur I thought I knew what fresh roasted beans tasted like...but the experience of tasting my first cup of brew from Ethos I am blown away...On a slightly rainy Saturday I made my way up to the Lakeland Saturday Farmers market with anticipation. I found the Ethos booth about halfway through the market and picked up my first two bags. Came home and immediately prepared my first big batch of cold brew. After a solid 14 hours of steeping in the refrigerator I strained out my first batch. Sat down and poured myself my first cup and gulped down my first taste. Instantly a host of flavors came across my tongue and I was pleasantly greeted with rewards of sweet honey chocolate fruity and nutty flavors all expanding upon my palate with sweet freshness and bursting with flavor. Now that I've been spoiled by Ethos not sure if I can ever go back to any other roaster. Well since I live so close to their roastery and little setup at the Farmers market I won't have to subscribe but I sure will be down there at least every other Saturday to pick up my coffee beans for the next week or two and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the Lakeland Saturday downtown Farmers market. You are greeted by a warm staff and one of the owners on site for a free cup of heaven with that purchase. If you are in the Lakeland Florida area run down there on Saturday mornings or order your first bag or better yet subscribe right now because you will never be sorry. Signed a self-proclaimed coffee lover and connoisseur.

I love Ethos. I've been getting monthly shipments from them for the past three years. Their coffee is phenomenal. I've recently had to increase the amount of my monthly shipments because I always run out by the end of the month, and I just can't find beans that are as good as Ethos. I also love that they give me gifts in my shipment, and an extra bag of coffee for my birthday. But what I really, really love about Ethos, is that they make ethics a central part of their business. Their beans are sourced responsibly, and they form special relationships with growers (who you learn about in their monthly "newsletter" you get in each shipment). My favorite Ethos roasts are their Poaquil, Yirgacheffe and Crema. Give them a try!

I grew my appreciation of good coffee with Blue Bottle. Theyโ€™re well known for having very well-roasted and fresh beans. As shipping costs rose, I started looking for other exceptional beans and came across Ethos, which is now my weekly go-to. The Black Swan is currently my favorite and is consistently outstanding. Do yourself a favor and try the coffees from Ethos. Youโ€™ll probably find your new favorite!

Really delicious coffee. We recently found out I am pregnant and I have accidentally reflux as well. And I simply refuse to give up coffee. So I needed a coffee with a great taste, low caffeine, and less acidic. This coffee has hit all my marks. It has such a rich aroma and the taste is amazing. You are instantly hit with the rich coffee taste, and then a sweet and smooth finish. Love it!!! Will definitely order another bag.

I am new to the Ethos Coffee family and I couldn't be happier with their products, customer service and mission! The aroma of their coffees is out of this world, whether it's in the beans, in the brewing or in the finished cup. FRESH is an understatement. It's wonderful how Ethos supports their farmers and I am happy to contribute to that mission. You get what you pay for. Can't wait to drink my way through all of the varieties :) Once you try Ethos you will be hooked!

I live in southeast Georgia and have gone to multiple roasters looking for a winner. I finally found it. With CREMA it is exactly that creamy and balanced. I use it in my breville barista pro and the espresso comes out amazing! Ordering was easy and communication was flawless. I got exactly what I was looking for and more. This is hands down the best roasters on the southeast coast.

Lovely coffee roaster with amazing people at the helm. We participated in a coffee tasting experience where we learned all that goes into making a single cup of coffee, were taught how to cup coffee (coffee tasting), and enjoyed a nice evening at Ethos Roasters. I highly recommend their coffee (you can find them at a few local coffee shops and at the Downtown Farmer's Market), and if you get the chance to do the Coffee Tasting Experience, you should definitely secure your spot.

Drove by on Saturday just to get some coffee while in the area but was closed. Luckily, the coffee is sold at the farmers market downtown Lakeland on Saturdays and was able to get some. I am a coffee lover, not an expertโ€ฆ but I was very impressed by the aroma and couldnโ€™t wait to try it; Iโ€™ve been battling taste profiles since having COVID and hard to find a coffee that doesnโ€™t taste acidic to me. White Swan is joy to have, taste just as it smells. Me second selection was Poaquil, I tend to like Huhue better from Guatemala Coffees but Atitlan was what made me love coffee, canโ€™t wait to try it! Made me a happy customer that will return, thank you!!

In this crazy world we live, it's a comfort knowing that I can depend on a great cup of coffee each morning. I buy the 5lb bags of whole beans, have tried several varieties, and I'm never disappointed - always roasted to perfection and quickly shipped. I found this company several years ago at a Farmers Market in Dunedin, FL and have never looked back. There is no comparison in quality and flavors with what I was buying at the grocery store. And on top of it all, I feel good that my purchases help sustain small farmers (many of them women) who in turn can enrich their villages. A cup of coffee seems like a small thing...until you understand its origin. I love that Ethos shares this information and stories of the farmers we impact with our purchases. Great coffee, great company! Thank you Ethos Roasters!

I was so happy with my first order of four different types of coffee. Each one was excellent. I accidentally ran out of Ethos coffee this morning (I thought I had one more bag ... but it was empty) and had to use some random beans. Oh, what a difference! I actually dumped out my random bean coffee ... Ethos Coffee Roasters has spoiled me! I just placed my second order and I'm hoping that it arrives ASAP. My last order arrived overnight (I live relatively nearby). Can't get any fresher than that! Thanks Ethos! I love your coffee!
