My three grandchildren were with Dr. Miller and then she left, and then my grandchildren were seen by Dr. Whitworth, and they loved her and they all had no issues with seeing her. I should add that all 3 of my grandchildren have Autism, so I was very happy that they all did very well with Dr. Whitworth. Then Dr. Warner took Dr. Millers place and 2 of my grandchildren had to start seeing Dr. Warner, 1 was able to stay with Dr. Whitworth, and there has been nothing good I could say about Dr Warner and her treating my grandchildren, even since the first appointment. I don't think she understands Autism and I do not like her nor do I recommend her. I've tried requesting that we would like to be switched over to Dr. Whitworth and the office girls, Danielle and Jennifer both told me that there is no way possible for this to happen, even though Dr. Whitworth is all three of my grandchildrens' named PCP that is listed on their insurance cards. I have not been happy with Nemours ever since they made us start seeing Dr. Warner and I can't get past the office girls to get any help with this whatsoever, which is why I gave this review. I should also add that the 2 office girls, Jennifer and Danielle, were both very rude and condescending towards me numerous times. I would never recommend this Dr.s office to anyone with children who have disabilities. Update: I spoke with the district manager Cindy also regarding how I've been treated at Nemours and she also was absolutely of no help, and was rather rude in attitude as well. Dr. Warner should not be allowed to treat children with Neurodevelopmental disorders or Autism, because she clearly cannot understand it and tries to associate them with neurotypical children and their behaviors. The response given on here from the "owner" is a typical basic response to make others think they are truly trying to resolve this and help the patient, when in reality, if you read their comment, they aren't, it's all about making this office look like they desire to help when clearly they don't and haven't. As I said, Dr. Warner should be kept from treating children with Autism and feeding disorders and Neurodevelopmental disorders, because clearly, she has no understanding.

Rudest front desk staff! They refused to see my 4 year old for her check up because I wouldnā€™t put a mask on her and then threatened to call security. If you really cared about children and followed ā€œscienceā€ you would realize they need oxygen to breathe and masks donā€™t do anything but make people who are afraid feel better! Its been 2 years stop with the covid theater already!

Receptionist Jeniffer was very rude and not helpful. I had to wait 2 months for an appointment for my 2 children. I got a call from the receptionist Friday evening (the appt was Tuesday morning) while I was at work, saying I had to have the doctor switch on our insurance before the appointment or they wouldnā€™t see my children. I had the doctors switched Monday morning but the insurance somehow didnā€™t switch it for one of my children. The receptionist called one hour before I had to be there and said they couldnā€™t see my child unless it was switch. I called the insurance again and they switched it and the receptionist wouldnā€™t take the reference number. She wouldnā€™t call them, as the insurance requested. I even called the insurance during the appt with a baby strapped to me the 2 year old acting up and my son being seen by the doctor. Then, they wouldnā€™t even reschedule her appt. They kept insisting my 2 year old put on her mask, I tried my best but she is 2 and likes the breath. Everyone was very rude about my 2 yr old constantly taking off her mask. Although, I saw other patients didnā€™t have masks? So Iā€™m not sure why everyone was so insistent that my 2 year old keep it on. They also told me they were doing an a1c and didnā€™t, they didnā€™t other blood work then didnā€™t tell me the results. I had to ask Jeniffer and she didnā€™t even want to put in a message to the doctor to call me. They need to let new patients know, when they set up the appointment, that the doctor needs to be changed before the appointment or they wonā€™t see the patient. Instead for the weekend before, when I canā€™t do anything about it. Also, be easy and show some sympathy for a mother with 3 very young children. Iā€™m trying my best, I canā€™t please everyone all of the time.

I have received another call, from the pediatrics office to cancel yet again another appointment for my son. I have been waiting a very long time for my son to be seen. Besides routine visit due, there are health issues concerned I need to address. 3 months ago same thing happened then about a year before the same. When they said Covid being the reason, I understood back then, but now what is the reason? I was not surprised to have seen little stars for them in here for reviews. I was assisted by Jennifer and last time was her too. She totally lacks service manners, and shocks me that she is still their voice after having read that she has been unpolite for so long to others. She got very defensive when I was telling that this had happened before and to look at my records..I am not lying. She quickly said loud so her team could hear, ma'am I am not telling you that you are lying. This is a very common expression said. I had to ask her to be don't get aggitated. There is no way for me to scream since I am losing my voice due to allergies. I asked do I need to change pediatricians? And she was very uncompassionated. I guess service doesn't matter much to them, since this lady Jennifer is still there. Should things had been handled differently, I wouldn't be here at all. Off to search for a Pediatrician's office that cares. Save yourself the frustration and find another Doctor's office, not Nemours Winter Haven. Bummer I would not have waited years.

I moved to Florida from Delaware and we have a Nemours that is wonderful and my kids have always gone there. I donā€™t know whatā€™s so different down here, maybe itā€™s the employees but itā€™s terrible. Trying to get a hold of the front desk is a joke and when you do finally get someone they are very rude and not helpful. I do not recommend. Iā€™ve been looking for a new pediatrician to take my kids to around the area. Highly disappointed.

This clinic is so useless, since Dr Miller left this place went downhill. Dr Warner do not listen to your concern as a parent instead she just try to pass you on to other providers in the group. Many times I take my kids there it ended up being a waste of time. You are the parent you know your child better, you are telling her something is wrong and you want test being done, she tells you everything is normal, itā€™s germs itā€™s this and thatā€¦ she dismisses your concerns just look at the ears and send you off. Whatā€™s the point of coming here if u just wanted to chat. I wish there was a zero star for this place, I am so tired of them. What services are you providing for the billing? the papers that you print out? maybe if you would stop killing trees you could focus more on the health of the children!!!

I usually have a good experience with pediatrician Whitworth, but maaaan, Robin Warner, so so rudeā€¦ while we were on the waiting room, waiting for her to come in and see my infant, as soon as she came through that door, with a really high voice tone told my two year to stop eating her snack, directly at her, instead of just telling me in a calm way. because it was not allowed to eat thereā€¦ if would had seen a paper that said it was not allowed maybe I wouldnā€™t had given my child a snack. But there WASNā€™T ANY, and my toddler has had a snack other times there and Doctor Heather Whitworth never said anything about it. Next time she could try asking nicely!!

Update: 2023 Our pediatrician retired, I don't recommend this office anymore. We had been with this office for multiple year's and getting a sick visit was impossible. Due to us loving Dr. Miller, we stayed with this office and went to urgent care for every "sick" visit needed. We were introduced to the new Dr. In Febuary 2023. The first visit went okay, she seemed helpful. Then I received a jury duty summons 5-6 months later. I called the office to get an excusal letter and was told she would not write me a special needs excuse letter unless I made a yearly appointment for my daughter since she was "late" for her yearly check-up. I explained that we just seen them and was informed that didn't count as a yearly check-up and she actually needed to be seen every 6 months, which was never the case before. I explained the time restraint and told them I couldn't wait months for an appointment, since they never had sick visit openings and I had to turn in my excuse letter soon. They didn't budge and said the only way to get my excusable was to schedule and attend an appointment, the letter would be given before we left our appointment. I called my daughters psychologist that had diagnosed her years ago and hadn't seen my daughter in two years, she was more than willing to help me out. The hoops I had to jump through for a letter stating I had a daughter with special needs was absurd. I wasn't too thrilled with the 5-6 month wait for a new patient appointment, however my extremely anxious kiddo LOVED everyone there! The nurse talked my daughter into getting her blood pressure done (no one has ever been successful with her blood pressure) the Dr. Miller showed my daughter the instruments and explained (at a kids level) what each one did ... My daughter made it through this whole appointment laughing and smiling and that hasn't happened in YEARS! I was extremely impressed with the nurse and the doctor!

Our child has been with Dr Whittemore and Dr Miller since we moved here 4yrs ago and have been amazing to my son since day one. I have never had an issue with then answering the phone and they are always so pleasant and show such compassion for the littles. I barely have ever had a wait for anything in the office and they have an amazing work flow.I would recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent pediatric care.

Both Dr. Whitworth and Dr. Miller are amazing with my boys. They are thorough and and take time to explain everything, even if test results come back on a weekend. As a seasoned RN and overprotective mother, I am extremely picky about providers for my kids. We are new in the area, and I must say, that I am very happy with the care at Nemours Kinder Clinic.

I don't usually write reviews unless something major happens (good or bad). However, I noticed that they're getting a bad rep and I'm unsure why as I'm not having the same experience. My children are new to Nemours starting back in 2020. Their first visit was with Dr. Miller and I was very pleased with the outcome of their appointment. By their next visit, Dr. Miller had left and we had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Whitworth. She's literally just as good! I've now seen Dr. Whitworth thrice (today included) and I left very satisfied with the outcome of the visit. She listened to all my concerns and addressed them appropriately and to my satisfaction and made necessary referrals. My kids (5 & 13 yo) were also happy to be there and left happy. Not only is Dr. Whitworth great at what she does and extremely knowledgeable, but I've never had an issue with the front desk staff. They seem professional and polite. Moving from the front desk staff, the nurses & assistants are great too! The guy that worked with my children today was absolutely amazing and my kids enjoyed him. The other thing that makes this specific location great is that I NEVER wait long to be called to the back and be seen by the doctor. They are always ready for your appointment and I absolutely love that. I would highly recommend this office as I just did to my brother and my sister who recently got their kids established with this Nemours location.

We have been seeing Dr Whitworth for the last 6 years and she is an amazing pediatrician! Our wait time is always very short (but we typically don't go around peak after school hrs) and have always had a pleasant interaction with the front desk and nurses. I feel that Dr Whitworth provides dedicated attention during each visit and listens to concerns. Scheduling has been easy in person for the next annual or through the app for sick visits. We only had one scheduling delay caused by post-covid rescheduling and an influx of new patients but the staff connected me to one of the nurses to check her shot records and make sure the delay in getting an appointment wouldn't interfere with the Vax schedule, so I felt it was handled well. Overall a wonderful experience and will continue to use Dr Whitworth for our care.

We have only had one appt here, as we just moved, but we were happy with our 6 month appointment for our son. Dr Warner listened to our issues with our previous office and everything we had to say about our son's health up to this point. No complaints here.

I've been using them for all 4 of my children for 8 years now and they have always been friendly, kind and caring. I've never felt dismissed when I've had a concern for any of my kids. Dr. Whitworth is always willing to order any tests to help ease a worrying moms mind. I love this practice and recommend it completely. Yes wait times have been a little more difficult to get in for annuals but sick visits are always same day!! Thank you staff for all you do!! You're amazing.
