I love McAlister's Deli's!! This one in Lake Zurich was a wonderful experience eating in. Super friendly staff. They all seemed so happy and enjoyed working together. Very refreshing! Sandwiches brought to our table, warm and with a beautiful presentation on large white ceramic plates👍 Nice touch! My turkey sandwich was super flavorful with a balsamic dressing. My husband's horseradish roast beef sandwich could have used just a little more zing, he said. Thanks

Wow!! I could not believe the numbers of choices on the menu...it was so difficult to decide. I ended up ordering the Southwest Chicken Salad, sweet tea, and a brookie and I did not regret my choice. I was with my siblings and had a taste of the French Dip which was amazing as was the New Yorker. I will definitely eat here again!! What would make this place even better: have a drink refill station so we can get our own refills, and offer smoothies and shakes 😁

Food is great 👍👍 But darn it's a tragic let down restaurant quality atmosphere paired with plastic ware and To-go containers for your eat in experience for bowls of soup. The large serving plates are excellent plastic plates. The better quality sturdy plastic ware for the baked potatoes are nice. Still just 3 star excellence The sports bar next door has all the plates and bowls and metal spoons knives and forks. Prices are more expensive but I'm cool with it. Raised my level of appreciation. I'm tragically disappointed in this failure to provide a better service. And I spent $27at the sports bar next door for a good meal with 30 TV's and music. chicken kabob with rice and broccoli and soup and cup of water including a $7.60 tip Overall this location is near $30 for a good meal I spent $28 on my full meal at McAlister's today. Soup and Baked potato and chili with a tea. Including a $2.38 tip Overall it's a ok experience more expensive for less of the quality I prefer in my dining experience. It's more of a fast food experience and less of a restaurant style I thought I was paying for.

Nice new location next to Oberweis in Lake Zurich. The menu options are wide! And then they have specials not listed on the main board! The staff is helpful with options if you can't decide. Once order is placed, they bring you the food. Once done, they clear the food. The sandwiches and bread were fresh and delicious. Their salads look amazing, and I must try next time. The sweet tea is on point.

Food tasted pretty good but portions were small for the price. Manager on duty was a great guy that seemed under a lot of stress because of food delivery issues. I felt bad for him. Store was clean and comforted and service from the manager was excellent.

This is a relatively newly opened location. Some staff were friendly, some super stars and a few were a bit stiff and awkward with the standard corporate offerings asking if your food was ok etc. The inside was clean and condiment station was well stocked. I love this place. The menu rocks. But this time it was hit and miss. My potato was perfect! My table mate had a potato that was dried out, shriveled and a bit on the leathery side. The open faced sandwich came out and the bread was alright, again the temperature was on the cool side, bread a bit dry. The flavor was good though, however I'd pass on The Big Nasty next time. The Memphian was tasty and the Horseradish Roast Beef & Cheddar got a 7 out of 10. I'll always go back, the combo options are almost endless.

Super friendly staff!! Spacious seating, wide variety of food, I was wondering what I can order but without the bread/wrap, and Jenn suggested she can literally make any sandwich on a bed of lettuce!! I am just happy with that!! ♥️

First I want to say I could tell immediately they were either understaffed or dealing with new staff. Either way, I waited about 15-20 minutes to even have my order taken. The manager was stressed, she apologized. I ordered the BLT+ Avocado sandwich with a side of chips. It was another almost 15 minutes till I got my food only to dig in and realize there was NO AVOCADO. It was disappointing because I'm pretty sure I paid a premium price for the avocado. Also the bread was very dry. Barely any mayo on there. It was mostly a lettuce sandwich.

I have a huge issue with the location, first, let me start off by saying love McAlister’s food. So here’s my issue, I’ve been going to this location almost every day Monday through Friday for about 2 1/2 weeks because I eat lunch near my job site and this is the closest restaurant to there. Everything has been fine other than slow service until yesterday. We ordered our lunch and are sitting at our table waiting for our food and they brought one of our orders over and we waited for the other. We then see one of the workers take two plates to a table, where only one guy was sitting and drop off the food . I wondered if one of the plates was meant for us because it was our exact order but we waited. About 5 minutes later the employee goes back to his table and picks up one of the plates and goes back and puts it in the oder window. I see this and now I’m really watching, 2 or so minutes later they grab that same plate and bring it to my table. I tell the guy they can’t do that, that was at another customers table. I told them that was improper food handling. They try to tell me it was not the same plate from the other guys table , I tell them I was watching and saw everything. They call the manager that looks like hes still in high school and he was very rude, dismissing what I was saying and said they will make me a new one. I then explained to him my issue and he didn’t care he asked “do you want me to remake it or not”……. No I’m sorry, this shouldn’t have ever happened or any . Just do you want it or not. For all i know that guy tasted the food while he had the plate at his table , I have no clue. The issue is the manager seemed to not see anything wrong with what happened, he was more annoyed that we didn’t want the food from another table. This is disgusting to think that they will do this. I have contacted the right people to have them checked out!!!!!

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience since I started coming here, I was introduced to this place from a friend since I'm not usually from around here, but with every visit it's become one of my favorite sandwich places, I always try to get something different every time and gosh it's so good, and everyone is always so friendly, and being a naturally shy person it helps alot. Definitely recommend for good food and feelings all round

Tepid food is a constant issue. Manager says it's because they were busy, but it has been this way 3 out of 3 times ... and the place has been almost empty each time. BTW, the solution was to burn the sandwich and the mac & cheese. Never again!
