It's a small park with a nice facility, with plenty amenities for the community. They have a small stage on the East side by the sledding hill where they play live music free of charge for anyone, all you need is a blanket or a lawn chair. They also have food trucks on site, by the stage for your convenience. You can go on their website for a complete entertainment line up. I just wish they would do something about the stagnant water and weeds right in front of the stage.

Was invited by members and residents to play Pickleball and to possibility join the community. Front desk bureaucrat told me members only. $150. Membership. “Ok can I check out your facility”. Perhaps pay a daily fee so I can try it out and see?” No. Members only. $150 to join. Right, I am paying 150 just to look around? “Members only” Walked out. Typical bureaucratic arrogance. Not even a way to bring in more people and build a community. They should have a daily try it out fee and hire a less obnoxious desk agent.

Hanover Park Athletic Club has a great facility for tennis, pickle-ball, etc. Building is clean and well maintained. Staff is great and very friendly. A special shout out to Mary Lou who has a beautiful personality and goes out of her way to introduce people for tennis matches and other sports. Highly recommended.

I called to rent a court on a rainy day. I have been just learning tennis and bought a very close family friend a racket for his 7th birthday. When we arrived, we couldn’t rent the court because it “appeared as if I was a tennis pro giving lessons” and that wasn’t allowed. I explained that I am FAR from a tennis trainer, I barely know how to play myself. The boys mother came in and explained this is a birthday gift and not a lesson, it was bad weather and he was excited to use his new racket. They said “my gear makes it look like it’s a lesson” because apparently having nice things makes you a tennis pro. I understand the rule but there needs to be checks and balances - so basically now I can never rent a court to play with my family friend (and his little brother) in the future. This situation was just horrible - but I do understand “rules” so I don’t fully blame the staff but what a horrible experience. They had no interest in listening to my story or understanding the situation, “rules were rules”. Just a horrible experience.

Nasty place to visit, have been coming here for last 5 months for pickleball open play and would pay $12 to come in play. All of the sudden I show up today and they wont let me in to play because I am not a member. Front desk lady named Jenny is absolutely nasty. I cant believe people like her work here. She kept asking me to leave in a rude way. Horrible place

Worst experience. They never update you with latest information on soccer league. You constantly have to keep calling them to receive any recent updates. No scheduling format once so ever.

A nice big park. A play ground for kids.A cricket ground that local leagues hold tournaments.

Been playing tennis here for several months now and for the winter indoor season, the court fees are quite reasonable given the rates in neighboring areas. Good court quality and temperatures. FYI - Court reservations need to be pre paid and there are no cancellations (only rescheduling).

We had our indian dancing event there, a fundraiser l, Sewa, and it was a lot of fun!! I enjoyed it a lot. Also the hall was really cute and medium sized. I was surprised we all fit in there!

Fun event on Sunday with various vendors, and music by an all-girl band that were very good to listen to. Thanks to everyone who made this fun event.

Was there for the open-house. There were some nice vendor exhibits. The facility was really nice. The exercise equipment looked new. And the locker room was clean. All-in-all, it was a nice experience.

This post is directly to the theatre program. Came in for theatre auditions for the 2023 Mermaid play August 2, 2023 4-6pm. Audition didn’t start until 4:50 pm and then they ran over because of the late start. My child and I were the 3rd family to arrive unfortunately by 6pm we were still waiting to be called. However at 6pm Kait Russell (the director/ casting director) released participants to leave that had auditioned already and asked a few of them to stay behind so they could read lines to see where they will be placing them without having everyone being auditioned yet. Outside of my child there were probably about 10 other children l still needed to be auditioned. On the walk to the car my 9yo asked “ how did the director already know that she wanted them to read lines without everyone getting their audition first, I never had a chance did I she already knew who she wanted in the play.” As a parent this is disheartening to have to explain to my 9yo. I insured her that she would still get a part (everyone gets a part you just have to pay the registration fee of $185) she ultimately decided to not participate in the play and asked if she could find a different play to participate in.

😠 Edit: after the remodel (which only consisted of adding the turf area and painting the walls) I had to cancel my membership here because I kept getting promised change and nothing ever got better. Planet fitness down the street is so clean and organized, and the staff actually acknowledges you. DO N...

👍👍 I began training at 3D about 7 months ago and highly recommend the program to anyone looking for a legit gym in the burbs. Dennis Dombrow takes the extra time to make sure techniques are perfected before moving onto the next. He will even stop and correct what needs to be corrected on an individual...
