    This is an excellent sized gym with plenty of space. I'm a taller man so I was happy to see so many pull up bars at a friendly height to also do muscle ups on. Highly recommended!

    Josh and Erin are really awesome coaches. They create an fantastic training environment in this box. Very clean and well equipped. All of the members that I have met are really nice and welcoming. I really enjoy working out here.

    I initially joined 3 years ago and had to take a break for health issues. And once I was in a place to be able to return to CrossFit I went straight back to PFT. While I had been gone for over a year, I felt like I had never been away. Love the programming! Love the community. ❤️

    Great supportive environment. Mixed strength and workout of the day workouts. Coaches will help new people with form and not pressure people to do something they are uncomfortable with, but still motivate to be the best you can be!

    100% great experience! Quality coaching and guidance, great structure (warm up, movement prep, strength/tech, and WOD), and good people. Nothing better than being able to get a quality workout in while in the road. Welcoming atmosphere—give it a go!

    This place is such an awesome gym to workout. Highly recommend personalized training with the coaches. They will tailor to what you need. Fun to hang out and talk to them too. Very knowledgeable

    I was introduced to PFT about 7 months ago, I was a bit hesitant because I never tried CrossFit. I am an Active Duty Marine and as I get older training doesn't get any easier. Since going my body fat percentage has gone down and I've gotten much better times on my fitness tests. The coaches are awesome, super easy to ask questions to. I also find the workouts not only challenging but also fun. Been recommending this gym to all of my Marines and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to get in shape.

    I’ve been a member at PFT since 2017 and we all know that going to a new gym (or place) can be intimidating, but not at PFT! All the members and coaches are kind and welcoming! The coaches pay attention to how you move and offer fantastic advise and suggestions to improve your lifting and/or movements. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the personal coaching offered, but haven’t done that myself, as I prefer group classes right now. The programming is more focused on fundamental functional movements that help no matter what age you are. I highly recommend checking PFT out if you’re looking to get movement in and gaining great friends!!

    Best gym ever!! From the moment I walked in to see the place I knew this was the place for me! Coaches and clientele are all super nice and helpful. You work at your own rate so no pressure but always someone around to help and encourage you! Definitely worth a try to see how you do.

    PFT is not only an amazing gym but great workout family. PFT offers high quality crossfit and boot camp classes, as well as personal training and athletic coaching. Everyone is so friendly, including the gym dogs that are occasionally there (my favorite part of going to the gym). My partner and I have been going to PFT for the past 5+ years and we cherish both the fitness PRs we've reached friendships as well as the friendships we've formed.

    I absolutely love PFT! The coaches are amazing. I started at PFT with absolutely zero knowledge of Olympic lifting. All the coaches took the time to teach me; they had incredible patience. I love it so much I decided to start personal training with Coach Zues. That community of athletes are also amazing. They are not hipsters, but rather super kind, welcoming, and supportive. I highly recommend PFT!!

    10 years ago I started working out at this gym having never done any weightlifting or total body workouts in my life. I also had been recently diagnosed with fatty liver disease. I had the liver of a morbidly obese person, although I was only mildly overweight. The coaches have given me the guidance and the community has helped me keep my drive for working out so that today I continue keeping myself healthy and my liver enzymes well within the normal range and functioning like a normal person’s with no medication - just good old-fashioned diet and exercise. I have also found strength that I never new I had, which has been a nice surprise and a testament to their methodical programming.

    I’ve been a member and client for nine years; I’ve never been more comfortable or felt more encouraged to learn, try and grow in a gym environment. The owners/coaches are all well informed, great at instructing effectively and also nice humans. I’ve enjoyed Boot Camp, private training and CrossFit, as well as clinics and special events that really make PFT a community like none other! Would highly recommend

    PFT is one of the best gyms I’ve been a part of. I started going when I lived 10 minutes away. I now live 30 min away and still make the trip. It’s that hard to leave! Their CrossFit program in particular changed my life. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive. The workouts are challenging and therapeutic. The coaches are helpful and encouraging. If you want an atmosphere to foster your physical and mental growth then this is the gym to join!

    One of my first priorities after moving to the area was to find a gym, and PFT was on a list of several I planned to check out. The intention was to drop in to each and make a decision after a couple weeks. PFT was the first one I tried, but by the end of the first workout my search was complete. Highly recommend this place for many reasons: great coaching and programming, clean and very well taken care of facility and equipment, and of course most importantly, great people.

    I have been going to PFT CrossFit gym, off and on, for over ten years now - life gets in the way sometimes and I have had to step away from time to time - but I ALWAYS come back. I've tried other things/gyms in-between but nothing gives me the workout, the community and the energy that PFT does. The coaches care about the members and make everyone feel like family and friends, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They are extremely knowledgeable in so many areas while consistently adapting and expanding their program to keep up with the standards in the industry and new fitness trends. I've watched them grow from a grassroots gym with the basic CF offerings to a solid community of diverse classes and knowledge plus an awesome social network in the gym and online. It's great to be a part of a place that has friendly competition among it's peers, and encourages you to keep trying and to keep showing up no matter your age or skill/fitness level. It's a family feeling and I love it.

    I can't say anything negative about PFT! I first started working out here in 2016, due to some other commitments, I stopped going for almost 2 years. Upon my return, the coaches all welcomed me back with open arms and pushed me harder than I ever could on my own. All of the coaches are super personable and take the time to answer questions you have. I always appreciate when they correct my form so I can get the most out of the workouts. I genuinely look forward to going to the bootcamp classes they offer because they are tough and you feel so accomplished after! If you're looking for a workout and team of coaches that pushes you and has great camaraderie, then look no further than PFT!

    I've dropped in twice s at PFT and definitely recommend it. Both times I've had Coach Brian for class, who is friendly and knowledgeable about how to move correctly. The facility is nice with plenty of room and all the equipment you would want.

    I like this place. I’ve been to other CrossFit gyms in the north shore and I found that a lot of coaches would just chat or text during the workout. The coaches here pay attention to you, know what they’re talking about, also their dogs are nice.

    PFT CROSSFIT is the best place to workout in the Chicagoland area! The gym has a great atmosphere and a great community of people who are fun and welcoming! I just started CrossFit a couple of weeks ago and really enjoy it! If you are looking for a challenging yet satisfying workout check out PFT CrossFit

    Fantastic atmosphere! Very knowledgeable couches! Great customer service (very responsive) ! I am new to CrossFit but have never felt out of place... everyone here is very supportive. I get feedback on my form which is important to me and some good advice on recovery and maintenance. All in all .. I highly recommend this box!

    The best gym in the area. Coaches/owners are HIGHLY skilled at what they do, and at maximizing everyone's strength and cardio potential. Have met a lot of great people here. Fun competitions and social events. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to get serious about fitness and nutrition....while having a good time.

    Great atmosphere to work out. Members of all ages and abilities who are always supportive of each other’s efforts. Very positive environment with excellent coaches and trainers. Well thought out conditioning / workouts and strength training / programming for both the short and long term also set PFT apart from other gyms.
