Had the Country Skillet ( Extra chedder 1$ and side of country gravy 2$. 2$? for basically maybeeee a 1/4 cup. That seems a bit much ) Pretty tasty though. Eggs cooked perfect OE. Hashbrowns were little crispy and still tender and moist. Nice amount of onions and peppers. Fried steak was good. But very small portion. Pancakes were average. And our particular waitress was not very friendly and didn't come back once to check on us for water or to see how the food was. I mean I don't need to be babied, but at least a " Hey guys everything OK?" once would've been nice. I'll give it another whirl though. Second photo. 11/26/23.The Autumn Omelette. Onions ,tomatoes, roast a red pepper zucchini and cheddar cheese. Pretty good. Alot of veggies inside. Crispy hashbrowns with grilled onions. Great flavor, nice crisp a little to greasy though.

Since this place changed owners and names it is 100x better!!! Service was amazing, our waitress was so sweet. The atmosphere was enjoyable for breakfast and food was on point. My ONLY complaint would be that bacon wasn't cooked. My mom's omelet was oozing with cheese and looked to die for delicious. My egg meal breakfast was good, I mean not the best but not bad either. We got what we paid for and can see us returning in the future.

Reviews from 1 and 2 years ago were great, so I was so looking forward to trying this place! What a let down! THIS WAS THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER BEEN SERVED ANYWHERE. I am attaching picture because otherwise you wouldn't believe how terrible it was. Hash browns were literally burnt black and like chewing wood! I thought I could pick some out but it was burnt black on both sides and hard as wood. The Omlet was full of egg shells in almost every bite. One of the pictures shows a shell a quarter inch square after I chewed it down to size. I was shocked the waitress even served it, let alone that the cook thought this was acceptable. I threw almost ALL of the breakfast away and wasn't even questioned by anyone if there was something wrong with it when the waitress picked it up off the table. Service was horrible. On the other hand...the milk was good, the coffee (when it finally got refilled) was good, and the pancakes were excellent! Thank goodness, otherwise I would have left starving instead of just hungry. Sad to say this place got my money once, but they will never get anymore, I don't do second chances with dining. You've been warned, you don't know when you will be the one with this experience. So be careful.

Pretty good food, I always order the pancakes. Everything about it is comforting. The food is always warm and I love the feeling. Recommend for sure.

We have lived here my whole life and I have forgotten to take a moment to dine in local. I've missed quite an experience. Wonderfully prepared breakfast plates. Absolutely delectable. They even know how to baste an egg properly. For that, you get an extra star 6/5! Not many places know how to properly make breakfast, but the folks at Eggville sure do. Family friendly, great atmosphere, and very knowledgeable and accommodating. Staff was exceptional and so was service. I highly recommend. And personally, I gotta eat here more often.

Best skillet breakfast ever! Now I know what my brother was bragging about and how skillets at other places didn't compare. Also, if you like pancakes you have to have their pancakes. I don't know what they put in them but they are the best tasting pancakes ever. When I come back to visit my brother I will definitely be back.

Just went in for breakfast and I have to say It was so delicious. The country skillet and chicken and waffles were impecable. This is officially my favorite breakfast place. The staff and waitresses are so welcoming, overall a wonderful experience.

As local diner restaurants go, one of the best. Good quality home cooked food, reasonably priced, and great service. The owner typically visits the tables to check on things. Family owned. Proud to have them in our hometown of Cary. Keep up the great work!

Delicious breakfast! I went here with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. They have great gluten free options which I enjoyed as well. Family owned and run! Definitely stop here the next time you are looking for a great breakfast with fast and friendly service!

Came here because I saw decent reviews online. Portions are huge to include a child’s plate. Food was not tasty at all. Coffee was not good. The waitress gave the impression that she was in a hurry and didn’t want to be there. Disappointed over all and wouldn’t recommend place. Giving it the amount of stars I am because if you are someone who doesn’t care got taste and are hungry, the portions are a good size for the price where two people can share a plate. Also it is a clean facility and lastly the front staff who greets everyone was very friendly. So walking into the place was a great experience, but overall just wasn’t for me.

Great coffee choices. Food was fantastic and a lot of choices. Seemed like a place we're the regulars were joking around with the staff and everyone was friendly.

This was probably our third trip to eat breakfast or lunch at Eggville Cafe and we have yet to be disappointed. My wife had the french dip and I had a well done ham and cheese omelette both were outstanding. We both ordered bowls of chicken rice soup as well that was outstanding. The staff is friendly and decor inside very nice. They have a great selection and we will be back soon!

Just came back from that breakfast place and oh boy what a dissapontment it was. The greeting stuff were very nice but once we were seated everything went downhill. First our waitress seemed to be annoyed to be serving us. Show us some not very nice attitude. Then we waited half an hour for our food. It was busy at the restaurant, I need to admit, but when the food finally arrived it was not even warm. Who wants to eat cold eggs? We did not complain there, just decided we were never coming back again. But when we were charged fees for paying with the credit card it was just too much. Nobody informed us about that fee (it was few bucks but still it was my extra charge I should be informed about). When I asked the stuff about it she pointed at the small black sticker at the black monitor with the information about that charge. It was barely visible. Who puts small black sticker with the information about the charge on a black monitor? They should inform customer before paying about the charge, or point it so we can read it. Very dissaponted with that place. Will not be coming back again.

Eggville Cafe is cute and easy to find. Big menu, great parking. The service was attentive, pleasant, and quick. Food was a large amount. The little things I like are that the butter was on the table. It was not ice-cold and hard to spread on my toast. I had an omelet, and it came with hash browns and toast. Hash browns were very good.

5 stars all the way!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was so relaxing and made me feel right at home, and the service was phenomenal! Thank you so much! Me and my family will definitely be back!

It's your simple small town breakfast spot. Great place to get the basics. HOWEVER when we last went the service was horrible. Not greeted. Barely looked at or acknowledged us. Never checked on. Coffee spilled all over the table every time there was a warm up. If we asked for anything it seemed like we were asking for them to bend over backwards. Water didn't come out until WAAAAYYY after we sit down. Just really a disappointment. Only reason for stars is food tastes good, hash browns are flavorless though.

Food was very good . I had the country fried steak/sausage gravy & 2 eggs sunnyside up. Very delicious & cooked to perfection. My sides were fresh fruit bowl & rye toast . I loved they had green tea that was really good. The service was good overall. Definitely want to go back for lunch . They are open till 2p.m. wish they were open later. Their lunch menu looked great. 👍👍🌝🌝

Hubby wanted to go somewhere besides our regular spot for breakfast. We pulled in and the placed looked busy but we were told it would only be a 5 minutes wait. We were seated by a nice hostess but the server seemed annoyed when she came up to take our order. It was a long wait from when we ordered till we received our food. People who came in after us were served before us. And I know cost of everything went up but I do not think it was worth the price for the amount of food and service we received. They also need to find a better system for people to pay because it's a traffic jam due to people waiting, picking up orders, trying to pay and trying to enter/leave are all in the same little area.

Food and service was good. A little pricey though. Two people for breakfast was $33 plus tip. Plenty of food. Could cut the amount of food and reduce the price and most people would be happy.

Foods ALWAYS great.!!! The redeye is wonderful... I love a little espresso in my coffee especially with great flavor. Steak skillet is my faave.! Meat has flavor, I sub out the onions n mushrooms for broccoli & spinach. This is my favorite spot to go and have a quiet breakfast alone or with my boys.

Haven’t had good breakfast in such a long time! Currently 38 weeks pregnant and was out running errands when I started craving breakfast & chose this place randomly. Let me just say best decision EVER. Fast service, friendly staff, great food! They’re French toast is amazing!! It’s made with challah bread so it’s not your typical thin slices. If your thinking about eating here go for it I sure didn’t regret it and my standards are kinda high right now being pregnant.
