This place is one of my favorite breakfast places, it gots that old school American dinning vibe, the staff is really friendly and the food is delicious, here you can find many dishes for everyone including a kids menu,one of my favorite dishes is the Skirt Steak Skillet and the along with my coffee of course, I think this restaurant is a must in waukegan and hopefully we could have it for many years to come..

Really excellent food, it is my usual go to for breakfast with friends and family. The price for the food is so affordable. You get a lot of food for your money. The waitress is always filling you up on coffee which is great customer service in my book. I always recommend this place to everyone. My favorite is the Mega Breakfast Combo and it fills me up.

My wife and I come here almost every time we're in town. It's an old diner that has every option on the menu. Breakfast,Hispanic,Greek,American, southern, and steaks? Normally you would think that this causes all the food to be bad, but they are weirdly consistent at like a 4/5 on everything. None of the food blows me away, but none of it has ever been bad. I've always just been satisfied. The fries are really good though, I would recommend those with whatever you order. They are open all day long, serve all of the menu all day long, not crazy expensive, and they're consistent. I'll come again.

The food was really good. Beef Stew was Amazing. A little pricey for some stuff and the restaurant could have been a little cleaner. Out table was dirty.

Since we've been here in Illinois we have eaten here twice ,our son graduated from the Navy. He wanted some good food and he and I got the Philly cheese steak with fries and soup. The soup we got was chicken noodle and it was great. He loved the Philly cheese steak and it was big and full of stuff. They were both delicious and I highly recommend going there.

Let me start of by saying the service wasn't to bad but the food was awful! My husband got eggs bacon and a side of gravy and had to drowned everything in hot sauce just so it had some flavor. I ended up not eating anything and only having coffee. Like I said the waitress was good and was very friendly! Just wish it had been better food.

Cozy place and the food was decent. Our waiter was attentive and polite. Could have been cleaner and the video gaming machine noise cheapens the experience. All in all I wish we had went somewhere else.

UPDATED REVIEW: 6-26-23 having been here many times I decided to stop in for lunch. Food was terrible I ordered a tuna salad sandwich,it consisted of canned tuna with a strong smell the waitess said it was canned tuna after I asked( it was not tuna salad) so instead I ordered a grilled cheese it was a tiny piece of bread with what tasted like cheese slices. Not restaurant quality food on any level. I was so disappointed in all aspects of my experience today. I really wanted to have a nice meal out if I could give it zero stars I would. Also the bill was high! I do not recommend at all.

I ordered a simple biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted like flour without a single ingredient for taste and I got a lot of it!!!! The biscuits were dry even with the gravy on them and tasteless as well! By far the worst biscuits and gravy I've ever seen or tasted. I didn't mention the meat that's normally in the gravy on purpose, because there wasn't any!!!!! Not going back!

Disgusting. I ordered pickup and they mingled my entire appetizer sampler so the sauce from the wings got on everything. The burger is rubber and it looks like grease leaked on the bun. The fries were icicle cold. I also got charged $3.50 for a foam cup of iced tea. Luckily grub hub refunded my entire order. This place is basically worse than fast food now.

We went there right before they were about to close at night. The fried chicken was stale and overcooked! The gyro meat was very stale like chips!! The fries, soup and the burger were the only fresh things there!! I also asked for everything to be fresh too!! That place isn't worth it! How are you going you to mess up fried chicken and gyros. These are really awesome items that of made correctly can be great!

The waiters was rude. The French toast taste like something I could’ve made at home. The eggs was very watery and the hash brown was very greasy. No I wouldn’t come back here

Very comfy diner feel with kind, attentive service and really good food! I'm not usually a huge fan of eggs, but Gojos omelettes are just delicious! But if pancakes are more your speed, don't worry; they make some phenomenal pancakes that are perfectly fluffy, soak up the syrup, but don't dissolve and fall apart. I'm by no means a breakfast person, but Gojos offers large portions of delicious food at surprisingly affordable prices. Definitely worth repeat visits!

They will tell you there's a COMBO when you order certain breakfast 🥞, to only turn around and charge you $12 for a side of eggs 🥚 and cheese. I ordered exactly the Apple 🍏 cinnamon French toast and got charged separately for both! I said can I add some scrambled eggs and cheese she said "YES there's a COMBO" she fumbled the menu and didn't show me how much it was to only come back showing Apples are billed separately and eggs were $12 . I'm like Wait a minute what happened to the COMBO. She said well it didn't appear on the menu I'm actually new here😕😠💢. So if I didn't onw around $30 dollars that day including coffee ☕ I would have stay to wash dishes in the kitchen to pay for it 🤣.

I think in my mind I hyped this place up more than I should've. It wasn't terrible. For the amount of food you get, the place was fairly expensive. I got the broiled catfish filet (just one... on the small side). It came with a small/medium potato, a ladle full of mixed veggies, and a small salad for about $17. The sweet tea was delicious though for $3.95.

Thought I already posted about this fine establishment but will try again. This place is great, really nice menu with lots of choices and very reasonable prices. Service was really good too with nice distance between diners in these trying times. I had the enchiladas meal and it was better than I've tasted in a lot Mexican restaurants we have eaten at. My daughters had the turkey meal and ceaser salad which they both enjoyed very much.

The last time I was here was 8 years ago. It did not disappoint!! The coffee is still wonderful, the food(I had gyro meat, w/ eggs, toast, hasbrowns)was like coming back to mom's house from being away and having the same great food and feel. Thank you, I'm so glad you all had made it through the pandemic and are still thriving in the area!! 🤌🏽

Great menu variety! The best part? I really liked that there was something for everyone. The service is quick too and staff was friendly. We ordered the 2 pancakes with eggs and breakfast burrito. The worst part? Honestly, can’t find anything bad to say. We had a good experience and enjoyed our food very much. Even the prices are pretty good. Paid about $50 for 4 adults.

Excellent place to eat. Good Service Friendly. The fried chicken 🍗 and soup are my favorite, delicious. and Fries are good . Everything we had was Good. And what we like is that the place is very clean. Thanks Gojos for all this years.

I just wanted the say. The food was good. That the owner was awesome. The waitress and the cook were amazing and made me feel like I was home. I had to remind my self I had to go home. I felt so comfortable. I hope you guy see thus review. I wanted to thank you for all your services.

This place was great. The menu is HUGE everyone will fine something they like. But they are known for their Broaster chicken… moist tender and crispy it’s was so dang good I can’t wait to go back. I had mine with a waffle and it was delicious. FYI. I started eating before taking pics

The service was great. The waiter was attentive and friendly. The menu is HUGE. 24 Sections, 184 items, plus various combinations. The food was lackluster. Absolutely no seasoning of any kind, not even salt and pepper. The country fried steak was a chicken patty, not beef. The Broasted chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside...but not a speck of seasoning to be found. The stars are for the service.
