Great experience! They start off with chips,salsas, baby bean empanadas and a ceviche complimentary. We had the Cawama drink which was wild! Had lots of shrimp,cucumber ,whole shrimp and a huge cawama with michelada mix, amazing. Kids spaghetti with shrimp, omg so delicious not even exaggerating. Literally 24 shrimp and enough for 2 kids. Had the meat molcajete for $25 and it was huge with an awesome variety. Lastly, had the pulpo(octopus) ceviche and fish ceviche tostadas. They were oh so good. But the octopus tostada was far out and the best. Everything had nice portions and was full of flavor. We can not believe we have been skipping this place for years. Thank goodness we finally tried it. Worth it for sure!

This is our favorite spot to go to for seafood in the area. The garlic butter fish is my favorite. The ceviche is good..The bean gorditas are a great appetizer. The service is always great!

The food in here is really good, the service has improved maybe do to the new waitresses working, that actually pay attention to the tables, samples had been shorten since the last time I came and the prices had definitely increased tremendously so be ready to spend some money, another thing is that the tip is included in the service so look at your ticket before paying..

i loveeee briza azul it’s one of my favorite spots in waukegan !! the food is a banger and the waitresses are so nice ! my fav are the shrimp tacos 😋 soo yummy and i’m not a huge fan of horchata but theirs? i’d chug a gallon and ask for seconds ! defo a must try 10/10

The place is not very attractive 😕,is missing something! I mean don't take me wrong the waiters are very polite their service is great and the food is not to bad! but the place itself is to sad needs a remodeling big time!!!

Had just about every kind of meat and seafood on the menu. Everything is excellent. And I do mean EVERYTHING is EXCELLENT. Definitely worth stopping in if you want a quick bite, or have a party looking for a large and lengthy dining experience. Would give them 6 stars if I could for the incredible food alone, not to mention the incredible prices.

When my husband and I walked in, it’s reeked of sewage. We were allowed to sit anywhere we liked so we did. The waitress dropped menus on our table and left us to see what we wanted, didn’t even ask what we wanted to drink. We sat there a goos 20 minutes with no one to come take our order. I’ve been to this place before and it was great, this time we left because it was obvious no one wanted to serve us. When we left the waitresses gave us attitude

Really enjoyed this place. Food was good, service was friendly, eating out in the patio was so relaxing with some cold beers. Will definitely be back

Great seafood and micheladas. We loved the spiciness of the green salsa that was complementary!! Waitress was friendly and kind enough to help us decide on what to get. Sad that the patio area was not opened; the waitress said it was due to alcohol license. The bar area was pretty!

The food is good no doubt, the servers are very nice and polite,but look at the check they automatically add a gratuity fee to the bill and if you don't pay attention you end up giving them another tip on top of that very sneaky of them I am pretty sure that many of there patrons have not noticed but will spread word! Remember gratuity is not an obligation so please stop adding it to the total bill!!!

every bite of food from here is like it was handmade and blessed by jesus himself. if i could eat here everyday for the rest of my life i would. i remember the very first time i had the shrimp pasta, it was so good i felt like i had to scream about my love for it from the rooftops. it was so good my cat even stole a piece of shrimp from me and growled when i tried to take it away... if you eat here, know that your life will be permanently altered. there will be no going back. you'll never be able to eat the same because all you'll think is "hm...its not as good as briza azul..."

Food was really good, but service was horrible. Didn’t get drinks in a timely manner, waitress barely came to check on us and it was a slow night. They also force a tip on the check even though it says “Suggested tip”. Overall it was a horrible first experience, even though the food is good, the service really sucks. I would NOT recommend to come here.

Hands down best tacos I’ve ever had! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food look no further- this is your new favorite spot! A little pricey, but worth every penny. They fill these tortillas to the brim! The vibes are immaculate, the servers are all so sweet, and the margaritas are strong and delicious *chefs kiss*

I always enjoying coming here for a good mojarra! Definitely the place to be! A bit pricey for some things but definitely worth it! The workers are always in a good mood! Between the caldos, mojarras and molcajete mixto! Highly recommend!

The best ceviche I have had outside of Mexico! The fish is fresh sweet perfect balance of acidity.

I really loved this place because the food is really good. While I understand that price increases are common lately this place feels to have taken full advantage. Not to mention that if you don’t look at your receipt you could end up tipping twice since they automatically add their own tips and not just a few bucks either at least a good 25%. This place takes advantage of the poor people that don’t think to check. Aprovechados.

Yum yum yum especially if you're looking for amazing seafood. This place is a treat especially since I have not delivered into coming Mexican seafood. I've enjoyed every visit and every bite has been a delight for my senses. Bring lots of $$$ this place is not cheap. Totally worth it but for us only on special occasions.

i won’t be coming back here sorry. there was a hair in my food before i even touched it :/ place had bugs all over too. bathrooms were gross.

The waitress was not friendly to me but she was friendly to the my Latin X friend. The food and drinks were good, but I would not return simply because of the poor customer service.
