A really enjoyable dining experience. They do a great job of getting you seated and served in a timely manner and the food is always delicious

Enjoyed a nice breakfast meal for lunch here after church. The wait was about 30 mins when we visited which wasn't too bad. The girl who took our order was friendly. The food tasted great and we enjoyed the visit.

Food was a little dry... still good but not as good as I've had in the past. I'll still go back, hoping it was just once. ***update.... much better food than last time! I think that was just a fluke since I've always eaten well here! Please order the hashbrown casserole, you won't be disappointed!

Cracker barrel has my favorite thing to eat. Chicken and dumplings. But ONLY if its from cracker barrel. Ill never understand how they make it so good. The only thing I really wanted on my birthday was to come here. And we live an hour away but my boyfriend still drove me here for it. Sadly when we got there, they were closed for a private event and it broke my heart. But ive been there a few times since and the food has healed me.

Haven't been to CB in a minute since the top of the pandemic. I'm pleased to say this location is great and has a good friendly morning staff. I ordered curbside. I tried something new. The Sunday Homestyle Chicken Biscuit Breakfast. Hands down one of the best biscuit sandwiches I've had in a long time. Will be returning for another one asap

Great food, outstanding pancakes and service. Isabel was very friendly and a great server to boot. Can't wait to come back. PS: try the Louisiana Gold Hotsauce they carry.

Decent food and lots of place for indoor seating. Service was bit slow. Had to wait almost half an hour to get our order. I was charged extra and later had to deal with manager to correct the check. Free parking available outside restaurant.

Always loved Cracker Barrel. I always get my usual. Lemon-Pepper Trout, corn, Broccoli and Fried Okra. Yum! And I can never leave without buying something from their gift shop. Usually candy that brings back childhood memories.

We were seated promptly which is a very good thing. However, the service was much too slow, restaurant was not exceptionally busy during this time. Someone one said "happy wife, happy life" well the wife was clearly not happy, it will take a act of God to bring her back. 😔

Always feels like a vacation when I go to Cracker Barrel! I finally decided to try the fried chicken, and it was delicious! Four big pieces (took some home) and a side of mashed potatoes and carrots. Then off to the country store for some shopping fun!

Well.....we went on Thanksgiving afternoon, just the wife and I. We knew it would be a long wait since I called ahead of time and asked the wait time. When we got there we signed up on the list and visited the Country Store while we waited. The restaurant was full and the store was packed with people. Lots of people were whining and complaining about waiting for a long time, even though they were told it was going to be a long time to wait. IT. IS. Thanksgiving. DAY. DUH! So we were seated in about 90 minutes. Everyone, including the host and manager was friendly and polite, especially considering they had to deal with a bunch of pain in the butt, whining people, Karen's at the register, a poor soul who tripped and fell on her face and had to be rescued by paramedics, she was a nice lady and we all felt bad this happened, especially since she seemed to be a nice customer, unlike some others in the restaurant. After all this we were seated and the most polite, friendly, nice food server named Jill came to our table and asked for our order. After the usual questions she promptly brought out our drinks. Our meals arrived about 15 minutes later. Jill refilled my coffee without being asked, brought extra napkins which we needed, and did a bunch of other little nicesties like checking back extra to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed. Jill also did all of this while being absolutely over burdened on the holiday, with a bunch of customers that I definitely wouldn't want at our house for a coffee, I tell you what......if it wasn't for food server Jill and others like her that work at the Cracker Barrel I don't think the place would do as well since most of the food is very average. We did enjoy the Vegan sausage, the corn muffins were excellent, and the coffee was good. We will be back not really because of the food, but because of the service. Thanks for being open on Thanksgiving, and thanks to all the people who gave up their holiday to serve up meals. That is a huge sacrifice. Thanks again Jill for the best service we've ever had.

I pre-ordered a Thanksgiving meal from this location. When I pulled up, I only had to wait a few minutes, and my purchase was brought out and loaded into my car. It was a smooth, seamless process. I also went into the restaurant and purchased some items in the store. The associate who helped me was extremely helpful and friendly. I have always had great experiences here!!

It's probably been close to a decade since I've been to a Cracker Barrel. There sadly just aren't any close to Schaumburg. Illinois. I FINALLY had the opportunity to visit a Cracker Barrel and BOY WAS IT GREAT!!!! The atmosphere is still warm and inviting. The young man, Sam, who was my waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I had the catfish with carrots, broccoli and cornbread with peach cobbler for dessert. Overall it was a VERY nice experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went there with my family. The waiter was very friendly, and I liked that after writing down all our requests, he repeated back to us for verification. The food was awesome 👌 as usual! 😋 I had the three entries sampler: Homestyle Chicken, Meatloaf, and Chicken 'N Dumplings 😋 😋 😋 I'm very pleased that they accommodated my son's requests to have a table that was closer to the door because I have trouble walking. My late husband and I had always enjoyed going to Cracker Barrel, and I would highly recommend it for good homestyle cooking!!! 😉

Very busy so I didn't feel like we got the best service and the food was a little cold but understandable nowadays with the workforce. Apple butter was so delicious on the biscuits. Big portions, average pricing. And of course it's always fun checking out what the store has.

A nice taste of southern cooking while on the road. The maple bacon grilled chicken was a great mix of sweet and savory all in one bite. The fried okra was warm and fresh, and their biscuits were delicious. Total comfort food. Dining area wasn’t too packed and had a cozy vibe to it as always, and I appreciated how prompt and polite the staff was. The prices here also seem to have not increased as badly as most other businesses.

We had a great time, lots of cute items in their shop and rocking chairs for sale out front. Food was good, service was amazing and it was fun for the whole family.

Love going to Crack Barrel. Wife and I go usually 2 times a week.... Ok, so since Rona Cracker Barrel went down to the point I didn't want to go anymore. We tried to be patient with staff shortage and whatnot but it got bad. Well we've slowly been making our way back and glad to say it, it's getting back to what it was! Food is once again coming out hot. Not always perfect but it's gotten a lot better recently!! New menu items are really good to...

Who doesn't love breakfast for lunch?! I was sad they no longer have turkey sausage patties...HOWEVER they do offer spicy chicken sausage links. They were yummy. I also love their pancakes. The eggs were disgusting. Very runny on the inside. Ew. I pushed them aside and enjoyed the potatoes. This was my first time visiting in 2 years. It was fun and cozy. The lemonade is still great!

Back in early June I enjoyed the smokey glazed chicken tenders up in Wisconsin Cracker barrel store. Visited the Naperville store this afternoon, anticipating the juicy glazed treat again. When meal was served just regular tenders with several drops of glaze. When I asked for a additional glaze, I was informed that they had run out and management was getting more from another store. Had I known I would receive crispy chicken tenders, I would had ordered something else. 😒🙄😵 UPDATED review. This item has now been added to regular menu(YAY) and when ordering them this past week, oh my, they were glazed and oh so delicious!!!😁😁😁😁

Music good. Ambiance good. Food…well… We were staying in a nearby hotel and went across the parking lot to order takeout. It was a couple hours before closing on Xmas Eve, so we knew we’d be waiting, which was fine. A very grouchy hostess lady told us to wait for the to-go order waitress to take our order. We figured the grouchiness was not wanting to work on a holiday, which is not great, but fine. We just wanted our food. So we ordered and waited. Two checkout staff assisted us in finally get our order about 10 minutes later than promised. But it’s Xmas Eve, so we understood. We took the food back to our hotel. We’d gotten biscuits and gravy and some pancakes and breakfast meats. When we got to the hotel though, there was no gravy. I went back and the checkout lady who helped me earlier was quick to get it. (She didn’t even need the receipt as she remembered me). Then I got back to the hotel to eat. Again. The biscuits and gravy were fine, nothing special, but about what we expected. The pancakes, though, were horrible, very dark on one side and tasted burned. Honestly, hotel waffles would have been better. The bacon was the opposite of the pancake, limp and underdone. We tried to eat it anyway, but it was strong tasting, like it was cooked about a week ago and reheated today. The sausage was hard but sort of edible. My wife ended up eating the biscuits and gravy and I ate leftover Chinese takeout from last night. We threw the rest of breakfast away. We were looking forward to eating here again on our trip, but now we have decided to just get Chinese take out and eat that for breakfast instead. (Seriously, go to Red Pepper down the road in the Park and Shop. Get the General Tsos. It’s out of this world.)

When you're hungry for "traditional" comfort food ~ aka, don't fret about the calories, the lack of vegetarian protein, the added fat, or the added sodium. Just enjoy. The four-vegetable plate is our preferred choice, with so many options. And it's still only $10! Outstanding customer service from Meridith, as well as trainee Nate. Food was served hot and fresh. Steamed carrots were soft without being mushy; steamed broccoli was soft, yet still crisp = just right on both counts. The biggest challenge for this location is finding it. While the address is Diehl Road, you won't get there from just the street name. Use the map and find the hotels, then the restaurant is just to the west of them in the same small area.

We were seated right away, which was great! But, after placing the order, food took a long time. Bacon wasn't as good as I remembered.

Me & my hunny finally were able to get in here! Haha we went on A Sunday around 9:30am-10am & we were seated right away! Staff was really friendly & the choices of food were good & nicely priced! I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in years so when I saw that they now serve alcoholic beverages I was very happy haha. Only negative I can say is I didn't really care much for the sirloin steak tips :/ besides that everything was delicious! Will be going back for sure 👍

I went here yesterday and ordered Southern Fried Chicken Dinner for myself and ordered a Sweet and Smoky Glazed Tenders to go. The chicken dinner was great cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The Chicken Tenders however were not done and the broccoli was hard. I normally give this place a four or five star rating but because of what I experienced yesterday I gave a three star rating.

I complained about this already and was told someone would get back to me--it's been a week, and no one has. That's pretty much the theme here. I ordered dinner and a holiday meal. I put in the order for the dinner 90 minutes before our meal pickup time. When we arrived at the restaurant, after waiting fifteen minutes for them to find our order, we were told they were out and did we want to substitute. I understand there's a pandemic and supply issues, but no one attempted to call me and explain the situation ahead of time. That part is completely unacceptable. They did not begin to cook our order until we got there, and still missed items from our order. We waited nearly 30 minutes past our pick up time. It was the single worst experience I've had at a restaurant and I won't be returning to this one. After the difficulty in getting our dinner, we then had to wait more than thirty minutes to receive our holiday meal. It was complete chaos. The staff was doing their best but management was completely absent. Just pass on this location until they figure out what they're doing. They're very bad at communicating issues and delays. The front area staff were kind and apologetic but this was all very preventable with some communication, and that's frustrating.
